Linda Noskova and Jannik Sinner are the 2026 Wimbledon Champions! In the all-Czech ladies’ final, Linda Noskova won the battle of the nerves that looked like until 6/2; 5/2 like a walk in the park for the youngest player of the two. And even though Muchova put on a heroic fight, won the second set after saving five match points, nothing could stand between Noskova and the Venus Rosewater Dish.On the men’s side, despite a very solid performance from Alexander Zverev who held his own for two sets and a half, Sinner prevailed and has now won six grand slam titles. Was it the best final in the history of slams? No but, there are great learnings you can apply to your game. Here are the key learnings from both finals:1’30: How to start a high pressure match in the best mental conditions like Noskova did*how to focus on yourself and not on your opponent4’25: What to do when the pressure on winning a big tournament or a much better ranked player gets in the way-Noskova’s strategy to reset after losing the second set-How to play tactically in high tense situations12’: The Mental Mistake that cost Muchova the title-How to stay in the present and detach yourself from your main goal-When do you need to set “improvement goals” vs. “results-oriented goals”19’45: Intro men’s final20’20: How did Zverev used his experience winning the French Open to win the first set against Sinner-What can you learn from Zverev to take responsibility to win crucial points 23’35: How can you copy Jannik “The Pressure” Sinner-How does Sinner constantly apply pressure on his opponents even when his not playing his best tennis-The one question you need to ask yourself to improve your mental game and become a serious threat for your opponents (29’40)-How to use tactical variety to break your opponent’s rhythm (31’10)Follow for more mental strategies and BTS about building a tennis career and you can also find the podcast on Instagram @tennisloungepodcast and Facebook!Check out some of our previous episodes:S3 Ep1: Serena Williams: The Real Reason(s) Why She's Coming Back at WimbledonS3 Ep 2: Should Parents Coach Their Children ? Serena Williams is back but the truth is...she never retired! As she's about to play her first singles match in almost four years at Wimbledon, one thing is certain: if she's coming back it's because she believes she can win!It might sound delusional for most of us but she belongs to a very specific category of people: the GOATS. And the greatest athletes of all time have a complete different mindset. In this episode, I share:-How the mentality of the greatest athletes is shaped from an early age;-Why they manage to redefine what athletic achievements look like regardless of their age and what we can learn from them;-Why does Serena has a shot of making a nice run at Wimbledon ESPECIALLY if she plays a top seed.Follow the Tennis Lounge Podcast for more on Facebook and on Instagram @tennisloungepodcast
