TESSA: Dealing with Sensitive Issues - Audio

Teachers' responsibilities extend to dealing with a number of sensitive topics and ensuring that their pupils have the knowledge and skills to cope with difficult situations. In these short dramas teachers encounter a number of incidents: 'Aduja’s Predicament'– potential abuse; 'The Notorious Fighter' - an aggressive pupil; and 'The Chase and Where do Babies' come from - misunderstandings and classroom myths. Each drama poses a dilemma for the listener to discuss. The clips in this album are designed to be used to support the development of teachers' classroom practice in both formal and non formal learning situations. Ezekiel is too embarrassed to explain menstruation to Njideka and she becomes frightened and runs away. This causes lots of problems in the village which are eventually resolved by Mama Baby
