    He’s in the story 🌊

Sometimes faith shows up between football games, nights of insomnia, and kitchen dance parties. In this episode, I share how God’s hand weaves through both the laughter and the late nights — through the stories I’ve come to cherish in the scriptures, and through my own journey with physical and mental health challenges. It’s about recognizing the patterns of His love — the way He meets us where we are, lifts us when we least expect it, and reminds us that even when we can’t see the miracle, we’re already walking in one.If you’ve ever wondered whether God still shows up, this episode is your reminder: He’s in the story and He never left.

Fire, Fear, and the Mirror of Motherhood

Hey friends, it’s Jenny. This episode is about Valerie — the midwife who stood beside me through three births, a miscarriage, and the moment I had to learn what it really means to trust God, my body, and the people He sends to help us. Whether you're a fan of the hospital and epidurals or essential oils and waterbirths, this one's for your mam heart. It’s the story of how she helped me through a labor that stalled not because of my body, but because of my heart — and the words she said that broke something open in me: “You’re doing exactly what you need to be doing.”From that moment on, birth wasn’t just about bringing a baby into the world — it was about learning to believe that I was already a good mom, even when I felt like I was failing. There’s also a house fire, a wild ambulance ride, a C-section that almost wasn’t, and a miracle baby named Casey who changed everything. But most of all, it’s about grace, surrender, and the kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to change your life.If you’ve ever doubted whether you were enough — as a mom, a woman, or just a human trying her best — I think you’ll feel seen here. 💛

Seven Births, One C-Section, A Thousand Lessons

Hey friend—today’s a combo love letter to the midwives who walked me through birth, loss, and everything in between. I didn’t start as a “home birth person.” My first real nudge came from a friend who simply felt seen by a midwife—and I wanted that. Over eight babies (seven beautiful home births and one necessary hospital C-section), I learned how much compassionate care and informed choice matter. You’ll meet Diane (my gentle first), Michelle & Kathy (strength and steadiness), Valerie (through the fire seasons), and Tierney—who stood with me through a miscarriage and helped me put roots down when life felt shaky. This episode isn’t anti-hospital; it’s pro-woman, pro-family, and deeply pro-respect. If you’re navigating birth options—or grief—you’re not alone. 💛Content note: brief discussion of pregnancy loss (partial molar pregnancy).

Kauai, The Cat Lady, & Travel Scrabble

What a trip! Who knew the lady in the covid line at the San Francisco airport en route to Kauai would become a lifelong friend. What started with worry that we wouldn't make our gate turned into an incredible tour one of the most magical places on Kauai and a life long friend that we still keep up with four years later. A persistent prompting to have travel Scrabble delievered via Amazon to a friend in Utah that could deliver it to us at 1am in the morning at a Salt Lake City Airport. And an offer to stay at a new friends home to avoid the meth at the beach we thought we were camping at...Buckle in...this one's fun!Love-Jenny

Insta Influencer, To Coach, To Friend - Thanks Shell!

"You need to take that course." Those words I heard in my head as a I sat nursing my 4 month old baby on our family room couch sent me on a path I never expected.Enter Shell Toscano, TheRealCanvaGirl when I met her, now TheRealSocialGirl. She's a gem. I joined her on-line cohort over three years ago and what an adventure it became. From connections, to business, to late night conversations, I have been amazed at following a simple statement of inspiration has turned into. Have you every followed a nudge that opened up paths you didn't know existed??

She Said, ‘That’s the Horse I Brought Back for Gwen'

Hey friend 💛 — today’s story is one I’ll never forget. It started with a ten-year-old girl who just wanted horseback-riding lessons. What we didn’t know was that God had something much bigger in store — a horse named Renegade, a mentor named Terie Ellis, and a miracle that changed our whole family. In this episode, I share how a brave little girl prayed, fasted, and believed — and how the right people showed up at exactly the right time. Terry opened her barn, her heart, and her world to us, and because of that, my daughter discovered courage, grit, and a lifelong love of horses. It’s a story about unexpected blessings, answered prayers, and the way faith often rides in quietly — sometimes on four legs.Love you, Jenny 💛

How to Lead and Let Go - Thanks Berg

Happy Today! 💛 — this episode is about one of the women who completely changed the way I see leadership, faith, and showing up for others. Her name is Robyn Bergstrom — a communications professor from my BYU-Idaho days and the powerhouse behind a life-changing summer program in Chicago. She’s the kind of woman who looks right into your soul, expects the best from you, and somehow still loves you through all your rough edges. This is the story of how a 19-year-old version of me — late to my interview, a little wild-eyed, and hopelessly in love — got pulled into a summer that shaped who I became as a wife, mom, and woman of faith. It’s about learning you can’t fix everyone, that showing up matters more than being perfect, and that God often uses strong women to shape softer hearts. If you’ve ever had a mentor who changed your life, or you’ve wondered how to balance compassion with calling, this one’s for you.Love you, — Jenny 💛

What Potatoes, Prayers, and College Friends Taught Me About The Good Life

Hey hey💛 — this one’s a trip down memory lane. In today’s episode, I’m talking about college — BYU-Idaho, to be exact — and the incredible friends who shaped some of the best (and funniest) years of my life. From dorm room nights and Mod Podge notebooks to snowboarding behind an Isuzu and my first pair of “stylish” cargo shorts, these are the stories that still make me laugh. But underneath all the silliness and nostalgia is something deeper — the reminder that God places people in our paths at exactly the right time. You’ll hear about Meg, who taught me what real friendship and quiet faith look like; Jeremy and Jay, the loyal brothers who always showed up; and a crew of friends who made every ordinary moment feel like an adventure. This episode is full of laughter, gratitude, and the kind of real friendship that lasts through every season.Love you, — Jenny 💛

The Day My Dad Introduced Me… Like That

Dear Dad,Miss you. Can't wait for the reunion. Love you so much-JennyThis one is about my dad, Randy — a Marine turned realtor with a love for loud music, cran-grape juice, and office supplies. He was also the guy who rarely said no to my wild ideas. When I told him I was running for student government with the slogan “Elect a hottie to the student body,” he didn’t even flinch. He sent me to Home Depot with some cash for spray paint, let me raid his office supply stash, and let me empty the cran-grape juice with my friends. We didn’t always see eye to eye, but he believed in me 100%. This episode is for anyone who’s ever had a parent, mentor, or friend who showed up for them — not with perfect words, but with a can of spray paint and a “you’ve got this.”Hope its a good day- Jenny 💛

One Phone Call, A Whole New Version of Motherhood

Hey friend 💛 — today I’m sharing about Julie Bogart, founder of Brave Writer and one of the voices that shaped how I mother and homeschool.Years ago, I emailed her a question and my phone rang from Ohio. It was Julie. I hid in the closet (two doors locked, moms you get it) and she talked me through the simplest, most freeing vision: real life is learning—groceries, library trips, conversations, paying at the register, noticing birds, reading aloud. More than tips, she gave me permission to trust the life we were living and the mom I already was. That early encouragement carried me through hard health years and a lot of unknowns. Later, we met for dinner in Boise—twinkle lights, laughter, and the kind of kindness that feels like fuel. This is my thank you to Julie for believing in families, in kids, and in the slow, human pace of learning.Love you, — Jenny 💛

    That Time I Invited Myself...

🎙️ Episode 2: “Thank You, Jason Wright”Hey friend 💛 — this episode means a lot to me. It’s about someone who unknowingly helped me take the first step toward starting this podcast: Jason Wright, author of The Christmas Jars, Even the Dog Knows, and Scar Dakota.A few years ago, I met Jason through church when I lived in Virginia. His daughter was at a youth camp where I was one of the leaders, and that’s how we first connected. Fast-forward several years — I was running our family’s little golden doodle breeding business (yes, that season of life 😅) and saw that Jason had a new book coming out called Even the Dog Knows. I had this idea to reach out and see if I could be a guest on his podcast to talk about how people’s lives were being blessed through our puppies. To my surprise, he said yes.We had the best conversation — funny, real, full of stories about faith, dogs, and everyday life. He’s just one of those genuinely kind people who takes time for others. After the episode aired, he even made a personal visit to a woman who couldn’t attend his book signing because of chronic illness — and it turned into one of those beautiful, full-circle moments that makes you stop and think about what really matters. This episode is about that — gratitude, faith, and the small choices that end up shaping everything. Jason reminded me what it looks like to use your gifts for good, and his encouragement is one of the reasons Thank You! Luv Jenny exists today.Love you, — Jenny 💛

Welcome to Thank you, Luv Jenny 💕

Hey, friend. Glad you're here. I started Thank You! Luv Jenny with a simple goal: to tell ninety stories in ninety days — short notes of gratitude to the people who’ve shaped my life. I only made it to episode 14 before my health hit a wall, but honestly… those fourteen stories still mean the world to me.Each one is a thank-you note in audio form — to family members, midwives, business coaches, authors, friends, and even a few people who never knew how deeply they impacted me. Some episodes will make you laugh, some might make you tear up, and all of them remind me how good it feels to slow down and notice the people who’ve helped us become who we are.If you love stories about real people, faith, growth, and the small miracles hidden in everyday life, you’ll feel right at home here. Season 1 is the gratitude chapter. Season 2 — starting now — is something new. Same heart, different rhythm. Thanks for being here. 💛 — Jenny
