    Daggerheart Character Creation (Session 0)

Hello and Welcome to the 4D4 Podcast, Daggerheart Edition! Our very own Mikayla is going to be our GM for this mini series while Daniel gets to be a player. This episode is all about our character creation. We learn a little about our own personal defaults when it comes to character creation, our play styles when choosing extra layers or weapons, how Daggerheart differs to other games we have played, and how this mini series setting will be built around us.From names to our stats, our usual shenanigans to big think concepts, we bring you something new for us all! Enjoy and let us know what you think on our Discord or Instagram!Daggerheart is a TTRPG that was created by Critical Role's Matt Mercer and Darrington Press LLC's Spenser Starke. If you want to also play this game or are interested to learn more, feel free to visit your local game store or https://www.daggerheart.com/ .

    Interplanetary Society Simulator (Part 3)

Hello and welcome to still the 4D4 podcast!Things are changing and changing fast! We left our adventurers and audience with a giant cliffhanger and our fancy GM has built the "Interplanetary Society Simulator", aka the ISS. This will help us play to see how time passes. Instead of a regular skip and a spoken summary, we are letting the dice and each of our story telling abilities guide us along the way.Is Urtan ever going to be connected to the other planets again? How are the famines, floods, wars, and shared discoveries going to impact the world our characters experience when they return? Are our characters still alive? Where are the icons in this time? This is part three of three ISS episodes.

    Interplanetary Society Simulator (Part 1)

Hello and welcome to still the 4D4 podcast!Things are changing and changing fast! We left off last episode with a giant cliffhanger and our fancy GM has built the "Interplanetary Society Simulator", aka the ISS. This will help us play to see how time passes. Instead of a regular skip and a spoken summary, we are letting the dice and each of our story telling abilities guide us along the way.How long exactly, in years, are these rounds? Where are our characters? Does the caravan move on without us? Are the icons to blame? This is part one of three ISS episodes.

    It Comes Down To This

Banter is all about the monsters we play, as well as the monsters we are as GMs. What do we think about that side of things? The combat, stat blocks, and creativity (or lack there of) are all aspects we enjoy but how it impacts the game is just as fun! This cavern, or rather large connection of chambers, are full of depth and mystery. Rapids, bridges, puzzles, and history. What is to come of this, or what is to come of us?

  7. 9

    Foreign Body

Banter is all about the fun and whimsy nerdy gathering; the Renaissance Faire! Mikayla and Samm, who have each gone multiple times, put together descriptions for Kiyoshi who has never been! Daniel deems it like a Fantasy Con while the fair goers are a wide range of people, booths are set for all points of interest, and the themes bring the best of cosplay (foam axe and all)! Also shout out to Ron Cleveland. Our party is venturing into a rock cavern to find our caravans scout and have to hunker down for the impending sandstorm. Progressing in we not only see more sand and sketches adorning the walls, but a now dead scout…who drowned…Come along as we find our path through this puzzle.

  8. 8

    Just In Sight

Banter today is actually about events going on around you! Specifically, Samm brings up Pathfinder in a Palace brought to you by The Game Theater, and their GM named Channce/Channcer which you can find on our Instagram. We hope to all go to Gen Con, PAX, game stores, and much more fun cons or public events together as a table! If you need or want anymore details about what you heard, check out or page or message us for information.A deadly choice is made by Z'adrah. It feels uncertain and dangerous, clearly leaving its mark on as he awakens. Verith, being worried and protective, tries his best to care for the wounds of those near. Caelig makes a deal, a threat, and treks on as we scout for the scout.

  9. 7

    Death Comes at Dawn

For better or worse, banter this episode is brought to you by Samm. In a deeper, semi problematic manner there is a lot to grow up about with Z'adrah. Verith and Kiyoshi are stepping out to try things with others. Caelig and Mikayla may ignore problems but they both have to face them and will work through it together. Daniel and his laundry list of NPCs, characters, or otherwise are in it for the support. He sets things up for others in or outside of a party. Altogether we bring you this table and our lives within. The gang is in battle. They stay in battle. It is a lot of battle.

  10. 6

A Rock and A Hard Place

Banter is all about our regrets. As GMs, we have each done things for our players or table in such a way that really didn't work out. As players, we may have been the problem once or twice. From being green to all things game master to being giddy and we should have asked more questions, please learn from us.Continuing on this intense travel with our caravan, we pull a double shift. Experiences with the terrain leave Z'adrah bruised. A skirmish with creatures we know little about prompts Caelig to clean his armor again. And as we fall back to formation, Verith makes sure there is time for some 'getting to know you' chatting.

  11. 5

    Everybody Bleeds

Banter this episode is a bit of a call back as we all discuss public game store ttrpgs with strangers, in-person games with friends, and online virtual tables. Do we all feel the same way? What is our experiences or preferences? The Bleeding Cliffs comes with mystery and as the caravan comes to a stop for the day, our party finds themselves in the presence of alchemy. Interest from Verith has peaked, Caelig proves to be a wise barterer, and Z'adrah is excited for unconditional applause.

  12. 4

    Grave Tidings

Banter takes a little of a serious turn with Samm wondering about how the table feels about being called a “forever GM”. There are some wild answers with Kiyoshi’s guilt, Daniel’s concern, Mikayla’s excitement, and Samm’s problems. This discussion helps us curb some rumors and encourage all GMs to wear it like a badge of honor! The party’s journey is rough. The heat has been higher, travel more challenging, but a crater has been mysteriously found as we go to make camp. Moister, materials, and maddening happenings. Chaos ensues as a detour becomes dangerous.

  13. 3

    Mad Zad: Fury Road

Banter brings the opposite of last time! Sometimes things in our games go right and as GMs we want to share those awesome victories! This episode brings excitement in so many ways. The party finally gets underway, true feelings emerge followed by disturbing action, and we race through our path to the next stop (hopefully we win).

  14. 2

    No Resolve

Banter is all about the not resolved, what could have been. Whether it be player based, a character, or something else. There are many circumstances where we don't get to see what happens. Here are a few of those times.Darlene is missing. Starting to look around in the temple brings stress to Z'adrah of what more is adding up to the poor health around him. There is much discussion on the next steps, another performance, but it has come time to leave Copper Ridge.

  15. 1

    Fun Guy(s)

In our banter, Daniel poses a hard question, are we enjoying our game? TTRPGS are collaborative not only between players, but between the players and the GM. What is on our mind regarding our current campaign? We all have wishes and stars. After all we have seen and experienced in the mines, what is left to do? The adventuring party finds our limit. Heading back to town, re-visiting the temple, problem-solving, and some new faces that are so easy on Zaddy’s eyes he asks for help.

  16. 0

    Dangerous Depths

Banter brings little conversation but plenty of fun facts about our characters and even a product pitch!Prepared for some intensity, we start with some creepy combat then traverse the dark and narrow mines. Treading carefully and trying to see as best as we can, signs of distress (worse than the foreman had suggested) become apparent. Preceding down caves provide us information about fungi, possible infections, and the fates of others we hope to not experience.

  17. -1

    Sand Gets Everywhere

Banter brings you a sneak peak into our GMing methods (or habits depending on the context).Who was knocking?Time in Copper Ridge continues as the party works together to help the Brazen Bullet. Z’adrah performs for a crowd. Verith promised to go check in with Darlene. Caelig brings up taking on some work in the meantime.

  18. -2

    Sand, Seraph, and Stained Glass

Banter brings us some fun personal stories about the way we adapt while GMing. Players always keep us on our toes, but we do that to each other as well!We have made it to Copper Ridge! No time for relaxing no matter how much we split the party. Darlene is still dealing with concerning symptoms and the party must not make too many waves in a town we are merely passing through. Each of our adventures meet someone new. We book rooms, Caelig makes deals, Z'adrah worries Verith, and we see what tasks to take on.

  19. -3

    A Gift from Kvuyo

Banter brings out our thoughts on magic as well as a hot take.Still on our way to Copper Ridge, a new breeze takes us on a detour. An experience of small rocks, creatures, and...water?! You may think it is a typical beach day but Caelig is able to expand on its true rarity. Continuing onward, the wind brings more.A map on our Foundry reveals how little Z'adrah does in detrimental situations while Verith does what he does best, heal and be mysterious.

  20. -4

    Welcome to Tavros

Among the many tabletop role-playing podcasts, 4D4 brings you "ANOTHER"!Playing Pathfinder 2e, our Game Master Daniel brings you a new world! Starting on a planet named Tavros, we learn that five years ago a runic circle appeared on the ground in the middle of the capital city Jarta. This formation is called The Aperture. As time passed, multiple other planets have formed connections to this Aperture and have contributed their own travelers. Meet Caelig played by Mikayla, Verith played by Kiyoshi, and Z'adrah played by Samm. There is a pantheon, a desert exposure, pokey dice, caravanning to an outpost, and more!Come along with these adventurers on a journey and play pretend with the cast!
