    Amalur Remake? Don't mind if I Ska-doo

    Nintendo celebrates Mario's 35th. Assassin's Creed Valhalla gets a new release date. Watch out Skyrim, Witcher 3 is trying to make it to every new console generation, as well. I talk about my thoughts on the opening few hours of Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, as well as my current resurgence of interest in Ska. I've discovered that ska is not just a music genre, it's a state of being.

Makers of Suikoden launch Kickstarter for spiritual successor. Massive Nintendo source code leak. PS4 Cups up. This week, I discuss my obsession with loot based games, especially Diablo 3.

    Nintendo Switch is getting two Shin Megami games in 2021 (not Persona 5, sorry), Netflix is adapting two more properties into animated series, AC Valhalla goes Mortal Kombat and Ernest Cline announces new book. My discussion this week is on the Playstation Vita, why I love it and wish Sony had supported it better. I also give my thoughts after finishing the Tokyo Ghoul anime.

    Keanu may be back to demon slaying. Nintendo Switch Online goes country, well Donkey Kong Country. One of my favorite adult animated series may be getting a new season, as well as a new series from Regular Show creator debuts on HBO Max. Plus, more info on two games I'm very excited about that are both releasing in September.

I also talk about my thoughts on The Midnight Gospel after finishing it and my new musical obsession, Bilmuri.

    FF7 Remake Impressions Part Two

    New Assassin's Creed requires gamers to grow beards to play. Is Id Software DOOMED for new game soundtrack composers? Geoff Keighly putting together summer gaming event. Beloved and acclaimed director to co-write and direct new Star Wars movie. Sly Stallone and Vin Diesel hint at sequels being in the works to some of their scifi/action films. I give my final thoughts on FF7 Remake after beating it. My recommendation this week is in music, with Dance Gavin Dance's new album Afterburner.

    Elder Scrolls 6 rumors and Good Guy Bethesda. 2K Games cancels one game and announces another. New Star Wars movie coming to Disney +. Last of Us Part 2 AND Ghost of Tsushima get release dates. An old WW2 shooter getting turned into a TV series.  My discussion this week is on the appalling lack of arcadey style sports games in today's gaming world. For added fun, take a drink every time I say "Over the top"!

    FF7 Remake Impressions: Part 1

    Is Gamescom 2020 happening? Games Done Quick provide COVID Relief. New update on the horizon for Animal Crossing New Horizons. One Punch Man movie possibly happening. Rumors of this year's Call of Duty. Final Fantasy 7 Remake launch sales numbers are impressive. My discussion this week is on my thoughts so far on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Will provide a Part 2 once I have beaten the game.

    Upcoming remasters of a beloved Star Wars title and acclaimed FPS , Capcom possibly remaking another classic title and rumors of a collection of Final Fantasy 7 games coming out.     Somewhat slow news week this week due to Coronavirus/Covid 19, which is affecting release windows for movies and games, like Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Also, Gamestop's response to government and health officials recommendations for lockdowns and closures due to the virus and some new cast members for The Mandalorian Season 2 have been confirmed. Last but not least new content announcements for Monster Hunter World and Dauntless. My discussion topic this week is the idea/mechanic of grinding in games, whether it be for levels, gear, etc

    Battle Royale Rumble

    This week's big gaming stories include Gamestop adding a gaming industry icon to their ranks, E3 having more woes, and Sony showing interest in acquiring some big IPs. With the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare's new, free Battle Royale mode, Warzone, I discuss the trend that is the BR genre, including some of its origins and the state of it now.

    Skate or Bye: Where'd Alt Sports Games Go?

    My topic this week is about the lack of alt sports games (skateboarding, snowboarding, etc.) in today's gaming world and the golden days for those games.  As usual, I also discuss some news from the gaming and geek world, like a surprise leak of a possible new Star Wars game, HBO working on a series based off a popular Playstation franchise and a couple more details about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, plus more. I finally finished season 3 of My Hero Academia and saw the movie, Heroes Rising movie and discuss what I thought of both.

    This week, I discuss my relationship (or lack thereof) with The Legend of Zelda franchise. As always, I go over a few gaming stories from the week, including the surprise release for the demo of the much anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake and my thoughts after playing through it. Plus, I talk about what I've been playing, like the purr-fect bite-size action RPG Cat Quest, the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX demo and classic SNES RPG Breath of Fire.
