For Petey, a 7-year-old dog, a body scan reveals a few aches and some reduced vision. Suzan also talked to Petey about moving to another country, and what that would be like for him in the cargo hold of an airplane for 15 hours.

Bandera was getting to be an older gentleman horse who said he loved his farrier. He was such a gentle soul. His human mom Laura was a new rider when she met Bandera, and he's been a very cooperative teacher over the years. Bandera was happy to talk to Suzan Vaughn, a professional animal communicator, but said he was a stoic personality and not that interested in going into detail about his ailments.

A beautiful white horse called Sir Sterling Silver is his human mom's dream. He's a drinker, and she wants to know why. She also wants him to pull her carriage but he has all kinds of fears about a mechanical apparatus coming up behind him. Sterling's human mom had lots of questions for him, and all were answered through the telepathic connection made by Animal Communicator Suzan Vaughn.

In this episode: Elroy is a blonde standard poodle. He prefers a medium-length haircut. He lives in an active home filled with children. There was lots of stimulation, making Elroy very vocal. His human caretaker asked me to help with an over-the-top barking situation.      

In this episode: A Week in the Life of an Animal Communicator.   It's been an interesting work week. Suzan Vaughn, an animal communicator, shares her experiences from a week of communicating with various animals. She discusses a Palomino horse with a heavy shoe, an orange cat seeking a higher-fat diet, and Danny Boy, a two-legged cat with litter box issues. Danny Boy, named after Lieutenant Dan from "Forrest Gump," has a weak back end and struggles with elimination. Vaughn also helps a dog to eliminate in a specific side-yard and talks to a duck named Patricio in Peru. Patricio is relocated to a new home with a larger swimming pool. Vaughn emphasizes the importance of understanding and caring for all animals.

Many people look for my services as an animal communicator when something is about to change in their household, and that includes traveling. Loredana wanted her two cats to choose from 3 options when she left for a 10-week trip. Their preference left no room for doubt, as they knew exactly where they wanted to stay.

When our animal friends stop eating, the alarm bells ring. That's often the first indication of some kind of health issue, but it can also mean something completely different these days. With the degradation of commercial pet foods in full swing, reading the labels is paramount. It can also show you how many brands have hardly any real food in their contents. When John and Meredith's cats stopped eating, they called me to see what the cats had to say about it.

In this episode: Man and dog come together to bring comfort, companionship and profound lessons to one another; advancing their skills in inter-species communication. Could the dog impart to his person that his canine body language meant something completely different than how his man interpreted it? Would the human be able to understand dog-speak? A loving dog mom requested my services when she didn't understand the puzzling behaviors her dog exhibited. Why didn't the little dog come when she was called? How come she refused to eat her food? Was she excited, nervous or sick when she rode in the car and why didn't she sit in her doggie car seat? This chihuahua poodle mix left her human mom scratching her head until I asked the dog to explain. Direct communication with Mango cleared everything up when I translated what the dog had to say.

In the Canadian home of Lilly and Ingrid there lived a variety of animal species. The family had recently adopted a young pomeranian who was 6 months old. There was also a richly patterned fat-tailed African gecko called Autumn. They also had two bunny rabbits: Trin and Bun Hen. This household with a variety of animal companions was a wonderful, loving place for all of them, and each animal was full of surprises as to what they said.

Can losing a young animal that you love dearly ever be a good thing? When young animals mistakenly die early, they often return in another dog body relatively soon. Some feel as if they still need to complete the life with their people, and will tell me they'll be back soon. But grief can be so thick, it's hard to let that information through, especially when the emotions are so raw. Here's a story about a young fearless chihuahua who returned to his people 6 months after he died unexpectedly at the age of just 1 and a half years old.

What's a love bird without a lover? One such bird by the name of Enrique had recently lost a mate but that wasn't all. He lived in a house where the occupants ran for their lives as their home burned down. Enrique was ready for a new mate and he followed our instructions, showing us exactly the mate he had in mind. 

In my early days as an animal communicator, I practiced my new craft on animals that belonged to friends. One such animal was Jack the cat. Jack showed me where I needed more trust and practice, and what it means when a cat says "Nope. Not ready to come in yet." We forged a new depth of trust and I learned how to accept the gift of time and solitude as I grappled with doubt and anxiety.

They tried every traditional remedy to keep the fleas off of their cats but nothing worked.  Could the Animal Whisperer solve their problem by asking the fleas to leave? And what about those resilient roaches? Would they vacate an ancient house where they'd lived for decades? Inter-species communication to the rescue.

Jo, a traveling nurse, had a recurring problem. Under the hood of her car lived a small mouse. It ate hoses and belts for lunch. She didn't want to hurt the mouse, so she needed to think outside the box. Enter animal communicator Suzan Vaughn, who offered a new place for the mouse to live that elevated the rodent's status!
