The Barakah Blueprint
by Ibrahim Shareef
This podcast is an experiment, and I am the main test subject. My name is Ibrahim Shareef, I am a project manager, brand strategist, graphic designer and a hafidh of Qur'aan. I believe we owe it ourselves, our communities, our families and our Creator to become excellent, to achieve excellence in everything we do. Excellence will lead us to success in both this life, and the next. I believe I am far away from this, which is why I created this podcast to share lessons I have from the mistakes I made.

EP40 - A Return to the Qur’an (Season 2 Finale)
This is the Season 2 finale of the Barakah Blueprint.I’m recording and releasing this episode on the same day — January 2nd, 2026.2025 was a year of growth, opportunity, and unexpected difficulty. A year where the podcast grew beyond what I imagined, where I launched Itqan, and where I had conversations with people I once only watched from afar. But it was also a year that taught me something essential:When intention drifts, clarity quietly follows. In this episode, I reflect on the lessons of the past year and why the most important discovery I made was the need to return — back to the Qur’an, back to intention, and back to alignment. This episode isn’t about endings. It’s about returning.Timeline:0:00 Introduction 1:57 Why a Seasonal Break? 4:28 Progress and Lessons Learned so far 7:50 New Company Launch! 11:21 Main Challenge of the year 19:05 What to Expect in 2026 28:37 Goal for 2026 & Closing Remarks

EP26 — The Qur’an as Compass: Stop Treating It Like a Symbol, Start Living It
Description:In this Campfire Edition, I share a simple shift that’s changing my life: treating the Qur’an not as a symbol to honor, but as a compass to live by. We talk gratitude (Ibrāhīm 14:7), the hadith of “recite and ascend,” and a powerful analogy—giving the Qur’an a luxurious “office” in our lives while never letting it work. I also reflect on how beautifying recitation softened an anxious day and why there’s an Opening (Al-Fātiḥah) but no “closing chapter.”In this episode: daily Qur’an habit → lived guidance, gratitude → expansion, deliberate practice → growth.Free Resources:https://startyourhijrah.comSkool: https://www.skool.com/hijrahhacks-basecamp-9130/about?ref=74cfb7e28e374a3fb7791bcdc12900aeResources mentioned: “Bidon Waraq” Arabic podcast; Peak (Anders Ericsson)Islamic Declaration (Alija Izetbegovic)Timeline:00:00 - Introduction to the Podcast and Its Purpose01:00 - Introducing the Quranic Compass and Recommended Podcast02:27 - Personal Experience with Quran Recitation and Gratitude05:01 - Understanding Gratitude and Its Consequences06:40 - Showing Gratitude to Allah Through Following His Guidance07:55 - The Quran: From Concept to Ideology10:04 - The Quran as an Underutilized Resource12:00 - Challenges and Thoughts on Implementing the Quran13:34 - The Endless Journey of the Quran14:27 - Continuous Practice and Growth in Life and Faith16:10 - Implementing the Quranic Compass in Daily Life17:55 - The Spiritual Elevation Through Quran Recitation19:00 - Reflection on the Quranic Verse and the Hereafter20:54 - Closing Remarks and Additional Resources

ABOUT THIS SHOW
This podcast is an experiment, and I am the main test subject.
