As we read from Matthew 6: 1 - 4, I really want to encourage us to look at our giving, not just financial but our talents, our time our emotional support, etc. Let us not focus our giving from a transactional view of this world but rather look at our giving as worship onto the Lord. So today give of your talent at work, give of your time and support to a friend in need, without expecting anything in return and your Father in heaven who see all you do will reward you.  Have a blessed day

The role of father figures can't be overstated. On today's episode we cover the impact of not having a father in the life of a child through the eyes of our guest Abu. We talk through his experiences of finding his identity and stepping into early fatherhood. During this vulnerable conversation we dive deep into his frame of mind and pick out amazing lessons for men everywhere. Kick back and enjoy. 

Disappointment is an emotion we deal with all the time. Whether it's failed expectations from others or from God. What is important to note is that our disappointment is a choice and though we may still be waiting on God for a blessing or people around us for promises made, our state of mind in the wait and what we chose to focus on is still within our control.  In this episode we walk through Gavin's story as they have struggled to fall pregnant and the learnings and consequent blessings that have come through this journey.  I pray this helps you today as you journey through your own wait.

As men we have an innate need to protect and serve the things we cherish the most, in most cases this is our family. However as we serve and protect them we are also responsible for their mental and emotional growth. As I kick-off this podcast, I decided to start with a 360 feedback session with very important people in my life. I truly believe valuable feedback helps us grow, but more importantly helps heal from some of the undue pressures we place on ourselves. As stated on this episode, it’s important to have the right people speaking into your life and even more important is to know what Christ's perspective of us is.
