Skye's focus has been on the sprint and standard distance racing in the Elite field. Skye is still relatively new triathlon but her progression to a podium in the elite field has been rapid. Skye is reaping the rewards of her high work ethic, dedication, professional approach to her training.     Trav Beckley and Mark Smith sit down and recap the IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong race that took place in March. This was a HUGE race for Beckworth Racing as we had roughly 80 athletes on the start line.     Trav Beckley and Head Coach Adam Beckworth chat to up and coming young star Rory Boyd. This chat takes place at the Beckworth Racing Annual Training Camp in Lorne. Rory has grown up in small coastal town of Apollo Bay with outdoor adventure a big part of his childhood. Inspired by his dad, Rory started participating in triathlon at about age 10. Now at age 16 Rory has progressed to racing at the Youth Elite level and represented Victoria at a National level. Rory takes us through his progression, balancing school and training, his breakout season and what he is looking forward to in the next 12 months. Matthew is a vision impaired athlete and his brother Jeremy is his guide. The boys have done two 70.3 distance IRONMAN events but this will be their first crack at the full IRONMAN distance. Training as a vision impaired athlete has it's challenges but you won't hear any whinging from Matty. His attitude is first class. Jeremy is a proud brother, guide and mate.     Trav Beckley sits down at the Beckworth Racing Noosa Tri Training Camp with Coach Kim and athletes Olivia Sciarrone, Mel Philpott and Emma Belfield. We are on day 3 of the Training Camp after some big days and challenging sessions. The girls reflect on the camp so far, explain their "WHY" and chat about the highlights and challenges.     Episode 30: Rosie Spicer

    Trav Beckley interviews IRONMAN legend and Ultraman World Record Holder Rosie Spicer. Rosie started on her health and fitness journey at age 45. This started by quitting smoking and running around the block, to triathlon training and finally IRONMAN and Ultraman. Rosie has now complete 27 full IRONMANS and 35 IRONMAN 70.3 triathlons. Living in Bright in Victoria, Rosie is often seen doing repeats of Mt Buffalo with her partner in crime Trout. Rosie is showing no signs of slowing down and has her eyes set on winning her age group at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona this year. We wish her the best of luck.     Episode 29: IRONMAN Port Mac Wrap Up

    Trav Beckley and Mark Smith wrap up what was a successful weekend at Port Macquarie for IRONMAN Australia. With the weather impacting the race with a cancelled swim, the event organisers switched to a bike - run only format. This made for a unique race day experience but like most IRONMAN races there were still plenty of ups and downs along the way. The Beckworth Racing Team had a very successful day with 3 x 2nd Place podiums and winning the Tri Club Honours in our division.     Episode 24: Sounds of IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong

    IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong is our local half IRONMAN race and this year we had 83 athletes on the start line. We had experienced athletes going for podium spots and first time participants aiming to get to the finish line in style. Coach Anthony Goss along with Penny Beckworth interviewed our athletes pre race getting a feel for the nerves and excitement. Once the race was underway, Gossy headed up to the famous Leopold Hill doing some interviewing mid race as our athletes climbed up the hill. We hope you enjoy the "Sounds of Race Day".

    Trav Beckley and Anthony Devlin sit down with great mate but also fellow Beckworth Racing athlete and coach Mark Smith to talk about his journey from Geelong Triathlon Club events to multiple IRONMAN finisher. Mark was inspired into triathlon by his late father and is building on that legacy as he continues to compete with a focus on the IRONMAN distance. Upon recording Mark has completed 7 full IRONMANS with a itch to maybe reach 10 in total. This is a great chat between mates and training partners.

    Trav Beckley & Grant Hornsby interview one of the original Beckworth Racing athletes and now coach, the one and only Anthony "Gossy" Goss!! Gossy has been competing in triathlon since the 90's and has seen the sport evolve, was there for the beginning of Beckworth Racing and has raced all over the world. Gossy has raced at pro / elite level and uses his many years of experience to now coach age group athletes within Beckworth Racing. Gossy has many stories and experiences to share, hence this episode is our longest one yet. A good one for a longer run!! Put the headphones in and we hope you enjoy.
