Season 3 Episode 5 - The guys are back and react to the start of A10 play, the professor grades the crowds from the last few home games, stats that stand out, and remembering a classic home win from January ‘19.

Season 3 Episode 4 -The guys are back to review where the Rams stand after the Charleston Classic and an OOC homestand, analyzing what the team is doing well and areas for improvement. The focus turns to an important trip out west, highlighted by what it could mean for tournament aspirations. The episode features a comparison to past teams that automatically qualified for the NCAA tournament, and what that might be needed for this year's team to do so.

Season 3 Episode 3-A recap of the last two home games, how the teams looking going into their Multiple Team Event, a look back at a previous Charleston Classic, the Professor's thoughts on the home crowds to date, previewing the Seton Hall Pirates and a quick look into who we might face after that, all in the most recent episode of the Black & Gold Fan Podcast.

Season 3, Episode 2-the guys are back in the studio for the newest episode of the B & G Fan Podcast. Bellarmine recap through the numbers, the Professor’s review of the opener, Boston College in Annapolis preview, memories of the last time VCU participated in the Veterans Classic, followed by Awadd’s Energy, all featured in the first episode of the regular season.

The Black & Gold Fan Podcast is back for the '24-'25 season. The guys recap the offseason, provide a roster overview, and take a look at the schedule as we near the start of the season. Adam Epstein also shares a one on one interview with Zeb Jackson.

S2 Ep19 - The guys recap the A10 tournament weekend. The Professor gives his grade for the crowd over the weekend. The Power of One is finally defeated. The gang then looks at past NIT appearances and previews Villanova.

S2 Ep18 - Recap of the final regular season at Dayton. The guys give their grades for the year, final statistics, bracket breakdown, and some A10 history. Then the guys do their fantasy draft for A10 tourney supremacy. 

S2 - Ep17 - Recap of the two losses at UR and home against Duquesne. The guys discuss what went wrong, and what needs to change, as the A10 tournament begins in Brooklyn next week. The guys then preview the rematch with Dayton, remember a thumping in Fairfax, and look forward to where the Rams may be matched up in BK. 

S2 Ep16 - Recaps of home Ws against SJU and URI. The Professor grades Homecoming and an early mid-week tip. The Stat Monster presents a stat called Kill Shots and revisiting the Michael Doles game. The gang previews the rematch against UR and the final home game of the season vs. Duquesne. Lastly, Awadd’s energy and some final parting thoughts as we near the end of the regular season.

S2 Ep15 - Recapping the FridA10 shootout at SLU, highlighted by Kris and Connor’s review of their trip out to the Lou. Breaking down what went wrong in Amherst. Then looking forward to the homestead against SJU and URI. 

S2 E14 - Recapping the big home win over Dayton, the Professor’s crowd review, “The Power of One”, and other intriguing stats. Then the guys preview the second match-up with SLU and going on the road up to UMass. Finally, some thoughts on how the conference standings might play out during the final weeks of the regular season and a voicemail from the Gola Standard, aka Olney Fans. 

S2 - Ep13 - Recaps of a thrilling home win in the Capital City Classic and at Fordham in the Bronx. Then the guys preview a big home match up with Dayton. 

S2 Ep12 - Grinding out a road win at Davidson and dropping a tough one up at St. Bonaventure. The guys preview the Capital City Classic and a road trip to Fordham. S2 - Ep10 - La Salle recap, student attendance discussion, VCUs best 5, Connor remembering a road W at the Robins Center, and some hot takes. The gang dives into the roster, roles, and what we need to see out of the Rams as they continue conference play. 

S2 - E9 - Recap of a poor start to conference play, a crucial bounce back on the road, a preview of another road contest against La Salle, remembering a remarkable night in Dayton, and diving into an excellent voicemail—all in episode 9. 

S2 E8 - VCU closes out the non conference schedule. The guys discuss the team’s progress and how things look going forward into A10 play. A look at St. Bonaventure and GW, who will be the first A10 foes, and some A10 hierarchy is discussed, in this most recent B & G Fan Podcast. 

S2 - E7 - The podcast is ecstatic to host their first guest, Zach Joachim from The Richmond Times Dispatch. The whole gang recaps the W vs. Temple and focuses on closing out the non-conference slate. The Black and Gold Fan Podcast is proud to be presented by River City Roll. The gang then takes a look at their upcoming opponent Temple, areas for improvement, and what we want to see to close out the non conference schedule.

S2 E5 - In Episode 5 the guys recap the ESPN Events Invitational, highlighted by a revenge W against former head coach, Mike Rhoades. The gang then takes a look at what’s to come as the Non-Con schedule rolls along.

S2 Episode 2 - In Episode 2 the guys discuss an encouraging exhibition game against Mars Hill University and preview the first regular season game under Ryan Odom against Will Wade’s McNeese State squad. Plus the boys predict their season MVP and Connor's wedding prop bets.

S2 Episode 1 - the four horsemen provide their predictions for the Starting 5, reaction to the Black & Gold Game, and review of the A10 Preseason Awards.

Episode 18– The guys get up to date on a rollercoaster of an offseason. Rhoades out, Odom in, roster turnover and additions, the gang covers it all and provides an outlook on future players and their roles. 

A10 Champions and a ticket punched to the Big Dance! In episode 17, the guys react to an incredible weekend in Brooklyn and look forward to a 5/12 match-up against the Gaels of St. Mary’s. 

In Episode 16, the guys recap the finish to the regular season, offer post season predictions, complete an A10 Fantasy draft, and give their final thoughts on the ‘22-‘23 season. 

A10 Regular Season Champs! Episode 15 has the guys recap home wins over Richmond and Saint Louis, take a look at the final game against GW, and discuss the team’s outlook going into the A10 Tournament in Brooklyn. 

In Episode 14 the guys discuss the homecoming victory over Fordham and a Jayden Nunn led road victory against SJU. They then focus on Round 2 against cross city rival Richmond, and discuss seeding implications with the three games left in the regular season. 

Episode 13 covers the big FridA10 win at SLU, a gut punch at home against Dayton, and late game heroics at URI courtesy of Zeb Jackson. The crew then takes a look at a huge homecoming match-up against Fordham. Also, Ed Nixon drops in with a celebrity voicemail. 

In Episode 12, the guys recap a disappointing home loss to St. Bonaventure and an exciting road W against Davidson College. Next up is a critical FridA10 matchup at Saint Louis University for first place.

In episode 8 the guys recap the game against Navy, the season’s first conference home game against La Salle, and a frustrating visit to Duquesne, then take a look at Saturday’s upcoming home game against Davidson. RIP to a Ram favorite, Willie Taylor. 

Episode 7 covers the past three games in the non-conference schedule and looks forward to the final contest against Navy.

In Episode 6, the guys react to the loss at Temple and look forward to closing out the non-con schedule with five consecutive home games.
