The Cleveland Cavaliers Look HOPELESS, Losing Game 4 To The Toronto Raptors 93-89

The Cleveland cavaliers and Toronto Raptors played one of the ugliest NBA playoff games you'll ever see in Game 4 with Toronto prevailing 93-89. The Cavs looked unorganized and unsure offensively, nothing like the juggernaut they have been for most of the last 3 months. James Harden and Donovan Mitchell were once again bad, combining for 11 turnovers while shooting 31.5% on 38 shot attempts. The series shifts back to Cleveland for a pivotal Game 5 on Wednesday night. The Cavs are on an uninspiring three game win streak including wins over the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans. Cleveland pulled out the victories despite going large portions of each game playing poorly. The Cavs also suffered another injury, this time it was Jaylon Tyson going done with an injuried great toe.We go in depth of the continued struggles of Donovan Mitchell and Dennis Schroder. We also speculate if Max Strus should be playing as much as he is after just coming back from 8 months out. James Harden and the Cavs Defense is OFFENSIVE AGAIN

The Cavs split a home and home set with the Dallas Mavericks, winning in blowout fashion 138-105 on Friday night before falling in a matinee game 130-120 today. Evan Mobley was the standout for Cleveland in the two game set, averaging 25 points and 9 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell also averaged 25 points and almost 10 assists against the Mavs. The lone highlight in Sunday's loss was the long awaited return of Max Strus. Strus looked outstanding with 24 points and 8 rebounds in his first game action in almost 10 months. Other than Strus the game was defined by the lack of perimeter defense once again by the Cavs, allowing Dallas to have 35 assists on 46 made shots. The Cavs are back in action Tuesday night against struggling Milwaukee. We'll be back on Wednesday to recap that game and look at the schedule ahead. Welcome to our 7 episode series revisiting the 2016 NBA Finals 10 years later. Today we break down the epic Game 4 with our special guest Bob Schmidt from the Fear The Fro podcast. The Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship! Cleveland, this is for you!Game 4 was a heartbreaker for the Cavaliers, losing 108-97 to the Golden State Warriors to go down 3-1 in the series. Steph Curry had his best game of the finals, scoring 38 points while hitting seven 3-pointers. Klay Thompson chipped in 25 points for the Warriors. Kyrie Irving was very good for the Cavs with 34 points. Unfortunately it was not enough for Cleveland as Lebron James had his worst game of the finals, having 25 points and 13 rebounds offset by 7 turnovers and lack of aggressiveness.Luckily for the Cavs Draymond Green decided to punch Lebron in the groin, drawing a suspension for Game 5, and Klay Thompson decided to call out Lebron in the post game conference. TRADE ALERT! Dennis Schroeder, Keon Ellis are IN, De_Andre Hunter is OUT for the Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers made their first big move of the trade deadline, sending De'Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schroeder and Keon Ellis. Schroeder offers the Cavs Darius Garland insurance as well as the ability to manage Donovan Mitchell's minutes down the stretch as he has been heavily relied on all season. Ellis is a near elite 3 and D player who profiles as a key rotation player off the bench.Hunter was a source of frustration with Cavs fans, seemingly the perfect SF compliment to the Core 4 but never quite giving the team what they needed from him. This season was especially disappointing as Hunter is having his least efficient ofensive season of his career. The Cavs will be looking to make more moves by Thursdays trade deadline. They also have a game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. We will be back on Thursday unless there is another trade that brings us back sooner. Are the Cavs Quietly Making a RUN UP The Eastern Conference Standings?

Very quietly the Cavs have been moving up the Eastern Conference standings, now sitting solidly in 5th but only 2 games out the the #2 seed. This is because the Cavs have won 10 of the their last 14 games, including two wins on a back to back this weekenf against the Sacromento Kings (123-118) and the Orlando Magic (119-105).Donovan Mitchell regained his shooting stroke this weekend with 33 and 36 points in the two wins. Evan Mobley continues to ascend despite continuing to struggle with his 3-point shoot. And Jaylon Tyson is someone still ascending and may soon graduate from the title role player. We will be back on Wednesday night immediately following the Cavs game against Lebron James and the Los Angelos Lakers. The Cavs have also got better play from Jarrett Allen with their renewed focus on getting the ball inside. The Cavs next play Tuesday night against the rival Indiana Pacers. We will be back Wednesday to talk about that game as well as the upcoming doubleheader against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Are the Cleveland Cavaliers Are Getting BETTER? Or Do They Still SUCK?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped two straight games, first a heartbreaker to the New York Knicks 126-124 before being blown out 117-100 by the Houston Rockets. In the Knicks game the Cavs gave up 42 points in the 4th quarter to allow New York to come back from a 17 point deficit. Against the Rockets the Cavs were down double digits almost instantly and were pushed around by the NBA's best rebounding team.Jaylon Tyson was a stand out in both games for the Cavs (16 points, 6 rebounds vs. NYK, 23 points, 15 rebounds vs Houston). Darius Garland appears to be getting healthier for the Cavs and had one of his best games of the year against the Knicks. There is mounting pressure from the fan base to play Jarrett Allen, De'Andre Hunter, and especially Lonzo Ball less minutes. We will be back Tuesday night to react to the game against the San Antonio Spurs and preview the upcoming schedule.
