#38 What is Trauma w/ Peta Schur
Peta Schur has been a therapist for over thirty years in various forms. When I talk to Peta, it is plainly evident that I am talking to one of the best therapists I've ever encountered. Not only is she extremely attuned and intelligent, she is genuinly so sweet and gentle. Peta had her first psychedelic experience very recently, and I am so thrilled she came onto the show to talk about it.

#36 Huge Trips w/ Jonas Rosen
Jonas is the man. We lived toghether for many years. We have eaten mushrooms toghether more times than we could possibly remember. In this episode we talk about DMT and the nature of reality, we also talk about the cautions of tripping with other people, followed by a cautionary tale. Jonas has a youtube channel that is called "Jonas Rosen" that is fantastic, check it out.

#35 Betrayal w/ Denise Rue
Ya'll know that when we get into the dark subjects on this show, we gotta get Denise Rue. I've worked with Denise for quite a few years in the psychedelic world, she is a mentor and a friend. Today we have a deep discussion about betrayal. What does betrayal do to the mind, and how can we protect ourselves against it. Denise is the best, this felt like a good episode.

#33 Psychedelics and the Soul w/ Simon Yugler
Simon and I worked and lived together back when we used to work at a psychedelic retreat center. I knew he was the real deal very quickly. Simon is so well rounded in his knowledge around psychology and spirituality, of course his book "Psychedelics and the Soul" is going to be awesome. I remember how hard he was working at it during our time as roomates. Enjoy his book, and this episode!

#31 Chillin w/ Steve Gillespie
Comedian Steve Gillespie returns to the show. We just kick back in this episode, and we talk about frameworks, if its hiking, going to do activties alone, or even tripping. How our framework is the launching point for an experience. We talk about other stuff too, come hang out.

#29 ADHD LIVE w/ Jessalyn Maguire
Gather around to hear the sweet sound of ADHD. Jessalyn is a psychedelic therapist and an artist, to put it lightly. She is so talented at eveything she has put her mind to, and that includes A LOT of things. Because WE GOT ADHD!!!! We usually like to have three different conversations at once, but we tried to rein it in for the episode. We just have a silly goose time, and it was a lot of fun.

#27 Dose, Barf, Move w/ Cindy Riach
Cindy Riach is an actor, dancer, writer, and coach. There are probably many other things she does that I am not aware of yet. It goes without saying that she is really cool and interesting to talk to. We talk about weird vibes at retreats, Why we need to barf and move when we trip, Cindy did Iboga and this was my first time really asking about the details. Cindy has an incredibly endearing vibe that is so unique, and I was so happy to have her on the show. This episode was truly enjoyable and I am looking forward to our next one.

#26 Sex Addiction w/ Wendy Conquest
Wendy Conquest is a psychotherapist, specializing in sex addiction and betrayal trauma for more than a couple of decades. She is also the author of two books "Letters to a Sex Addict" and "Letters from a Sex Addict" We met working toghether in the same space, and I learned a lot from watching her. She was kind enough to come on show, and I will be a guest on her podcast "Conversations on sex, anddiction, and relationships" this summer! I try to learn as much as I can about her thoughts around sex addiction and general dating culture in this episode.

#25 Through the Veil w/ Andres Gallegos
Andres Gallegos is an amazing man in multiple ways. He is a bow hunter, entrepreneur, father, trail cyclist, and very wise man. We had the oppurtunity to work together, and his psychedelic experiences were incredibly deep. We get into all of it in this episode, amongst much more. Andres is the owner of Z-Coil footwear, and Compass eyewear. Both companies sell high quality gear that fits a very specific function, and stands out from the crowd in their own unique ways.

My goal of this series is to make a verbal photo album of my fond memories from Jamaica. The series will always be solo episodes, and very casual.

#23 How to Manifest w/ Denise Rue
Denise and I have a spontaneous chat about what it really meens to manifest something. When does syncronicty come to invest in us? We discuss how sacrifice and courage is the language of the divine. Its very hard to get specific and accurate about our endeavors, but the more clear we make the target, the easier we can hit it.

#22 Dynamics w/ Dr. Jarrett Rose
I met Dr. Jarrett Rose at the retreat center that I used to work at. He was a participant, and I knew that I wanted to maintain a friendship with this guy very early on in the week. Jarrett is a professor of community health and sociology at New York State University, he is also a very cool down to earth surfer dude, it doesn't get much cooler than that. We mostly talk about the interesting dynamics that take place in psychedelic settings. I pray for many more episodes with Jarrett in the future, for now, enjoy this one.

#20 Mindbender w Adam Tapp
Adam Tapp is one of my favorite people to talk to, he is an active duty EMT, as well an an active psychonaut in the truest sense of the word. This man has ACTUALLY DIED and was resuscitated back to life. An amazing story about how his experience with death and his DMT experiences have sort of integrated, I'm sure that you can hear more about on his own awesome show "Tapped Into Psychedelics" which Adam is the host of. Adam and I have had a handful of awesome conversations before this epsode, and I'm honored to finally have him on the show. Check out his show if you enjoy this one.

#21 Growth & Anxiety w/ Justin VanBuskirk
Justin is a cool guy that I randomly met through instagram. It turns out that we both were guests participating in the same week long psychedelic retreat, just two weeks apart, and we are the same age. He is now a holistic anxiety coach. Justin shares about his own experience with anxiety, which I am thankful for him sharing with you all. I do believe that when it comes to lessons regarding wisdom/mental health, you gotta listen to somebody who has actually gone through it themselves, and different people offer different valuable perspectives. This episode was just a good hang in general, Justin is a very cool dude. Enjoy

#19 Facilitating w/ Armand LeComte
Two facilitators talking about facilitator subjects. Armand is a incredible psychedelic facilitator that I have worked along side of in many legal psychedelic retreat settings. Armand is a combat veteran, and a very dilligent spiritual practitioner. He works with the Heroic Hearts Foundation, a non profit organization centered around providing mental health support through psychedelic plant medicines. We discussed a lot of topics that I personally find very engaging to talk about, topics that not very many people can share in. At one point, he did a great job on making me uncomfortable on my own show, fair enough.

#18 Checking in w/ Marc Del
Marc Del is a great man! It's hard to get him on the phone because he's often in a time zone that I've never heard of, doing a handstand somwhere. That being said, I selfishly took the opportunity to just kinda catch up with my good friend. I drank my coffee DURING the show instead of being caffinated before hand. Thats how much confidence I have in our conversations! Very chill episode, enjoy.

#17 Mystical experience 2 w/ Tim
Tim is an incredibly intelligent and sweet guy. I got to witness what a gifted tripper he is a few years ago. The "letting go" we hear about so often in the psychedelic world can be tricky, it has many forms. Tim let go into his week long retreat as well as anyone could hope. He had a HUGE mystical experience during the week that we met. I had to get him on the show to tell his tale. As some of you may know, I like to give praise to ALL forms of mystical experiences. Tim's awe inspiring encounter with God is every bit as valid as any, and I hope this episode inspires you to go on your own personal quest.

#16 Tracking Deer w/ Walt
When i think of deer hunters, I think of honest, hardworking, capable people. That what we got here on the podcast today. Walt is an absolute master whitetail hunter, and uniquely he has trained dogs to help with the tracking process. Failure to track an animal that you have wounded is heartbreaking, you will lay in bed for weeks wondering if that animal died in vein, or if it will live through your mistake. Walt has found a way to make his Jack Russel Terriers into dead deer radars. I called Walt in desperate need to find out what happened to my deer, bad news, I didnt get it, good news, it is going to be just fine. Thankfully I got to meet this extremely skilled, and abundantly nice man in the process.

#15 We Got Callers!
Solo episode. The Bass Pro hat trend is strange. Call in if you have any insider info. We have our first callers into the show and it was a lot of fun! What do you eat after a mushroom journey? What if a facilitator is too attrractive? What is that mushroom that made Busta Rhymes spit that fire?

#14 Start from Scratch w/ Tony Saksa
I met Tony right at the beginning of covid. Like many people, we were kinda stuck and confused about how to move forward in life after the pandemic. From day one Tony has been honest and hilarious. I had no idea about his incredibly traumatic background when I met him, we sort of do a speed run through his past in this episode. He doesn't want to dwell on his past, he isn't the type of guy to make excuses at all for that matter. Tony CHOOSES to feel happy instead of sad, if he can do it so can you. In this episode I really just wanted to celebrate how incredible his character is and how he was always just a super nice and fair person regardlesss of what was going on in his life. We tried to cover so much in such little time, I hope we didnt move too quickly. He is an incredibly inspiring dude. Enjoy

#12 Souling w/ Jaret
Jaret has popular social media pages such as @soulofjaret on instagram. I was made aware of him through a facilitator that I used to work with, and the first clip I saw of Jaret was him explaining his background and what got him into psychedelics. I was taken back by how similar our stories are. We both were going through similar things, at similar ages, with similar interestes, and in the same state! So I reached out and we decided to officially meet for the first time over a podcast! It made for quite a fun hang of an episode, Jaret is a really fun guy to talk to. Go check out all of his stuff!

#11 A Classic Bad Trip
After many years and around 200 or so macro doses of mushrooms...I had the ol' classic. The ol' standard bad trip. Why? Because it is the shit, its the bees knees. Even after surviving all of my mushroom doses, just like literally everyone else who has ever eaten mushrooms, I thought I was going to die, and my general happiness has been greatly improved ever since. This is a solo episode, enjoy.

#9 Paranoia w/ Denise Rue
Denise rue was the very first person I ever held space for, and soon became my first colleague. We worked with many hundreds of clients side by side, and had many personal journeys with psilocybin with eachother as well. In this episode we cover the biggest energetic threat to a ceremony space, paranoia. Paranoia to an extreme level should be a very rare encounter, but when you work as much as Denise and I, that card eventually gets drawn. Here is how to not only make it through that encounter, but how to see the silver lining. Enjoy.

#8 Inspiration w/ Empress Thandi
A visit to Treaure Beach Jamaica simply would not be complete until you come into contact with one of the many things that Empress has to offer. Yoga, health, and wellness, pretty much anything under that umbrella is her specialty. Empress is an absolute powerhouse of inspiration. She was the first friend I made in Jamaica, and we talk about that a bit in this episode. She is the real-deal wise woman and I am so incredibly fortunate to have somone like her on a podcast like this. Blessed Rizin

#7 Set your Setting w/ Arlene Battishill
Arlene is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is absolutely a role model on how to approach personal integration of a psychedelic experience. In this episode you will hear about her bestowing onto me the single nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Arlene in her well-spoken thoughtful way shares some of her experience as well as her perceptions about how psychedelic healing and facilitation works. It was an absolute honor working with her during her journeys, and I will cherish that time for the rest of my life.

#6 Boys to Men w/ Marc Delaney
Marc and I have been roomates while working in the legal psiocybin retreat setting in Jamaica. He's a fascinating guy, he's just done a lot of random stuff and I feel that we align on things most of the time. We talk about initiation, how to go from a directionless pissed off teenager to having purpose and learning how to grow as a person. Marc was a fantastic person to discuss this with.

#5 School Sucks w/ Shelly n Chris
I have facilitated many retreats with Chris and Shelly, and they are always a refreshing presence. I see them both as academics so I had to get them on the podcast to talk about how badly school sucks. I think we overlook how tragic it is that we force every child to be painfully bored five days a week while the brain is being formed. Its a very chill and speculative episode.

#4 Therapy talk w/ Steven Benjamin
Steven is a coworker of mine that i have worked a dozen or so psychedelic retreats with. In my opinion he is the best integration therapist that I have seen. We have become quite close during our time working toghether and its been a blast, so I had to have him on! We get in deep on theraputic techniques meshing with psychedelics, the emotional window of tolerance, and narcissism.

#3 Recreational w/ Steve Gillespie
Professional comedian, and psychonaut Steve Gillespie and I have a really fun conversation as always. Steve and I have had a lot of good times toghether in and outside of his comedy shows. We talk about our own psychedelic bloopers and what brings about mystical experiences (we dont know). Its a silly goose time and i hope you enjoy it. Check out Steve's comedy on social media, his instagram is @comicgillespie

#2 Perspective w/ Jonas Rosen
Jonas has been my roommate and coworker in jamaica for over 3 years! We have done countless retreats together as well as countless trips together. All of that considered, its strange that this is our first time doing a podcast. We talk about trauma vs perspective, DMT, and recreational dosing. We also do be gigglin...enjoy!

#1 The Scene w/ Simon Yugler
Simon Yugler is the real deal in the psychedelic scene. He is an educated world traveler. He has done many different plant medicines in all kinds of different settings. He is all around one of the coolest dudes i've ever met. He was a great guy to have a conversation about the state of the psychedelic scene, so we got into it! After editing out waves of rainstorms and many animal noises, it turned out to be a good first episode.
