Pt 1 Orientation to mastering the basics
From Friday, This is part one of my orientation to mastering the fundamentals. The most crucial elements of developing into a great athlete. If you desire to become a great athlete, this is an opportunity for you to learn what are the basic understandings that you must master in order to begin to work towards becoming successful with what you want to achieve in regards to your dreams and desires. If you listen to this entire audio journal episode you will learn if your habits, behaviors and belief systems are in alignment with what you say you want to do and to achieve. If the information that you listen to does not create a sense of urgency within you, if this information goes in one ear and out other you are at the pretender level. If you listen to this information and have a sense of urgency to actually do the follow-up homework that I instructed you to follow, if you actually have the work ethic to do the homework that I outlined, if you then submit the homework to the email address that I provided you are a bonafide contender and you are pursuing excellence. One of the primary purposes of this audio journal lesson is to share at a macro level what it takes become a elite professional athlete. The second part is to help guide you to create a sense of urgency to adopt the belief system that I have what it takes, and I believe that I can do whatever it takes to pursue my dreams and aspirations. 1. You're either about it, committed and have a sense of urgency to apply the information that you learned in this episode Or, you're thinking about it and not ready to commit. Lastly, I know for a fact that only one or two athletes are going to do the homework that I outlined in this learning session - the information I provide is highly valuable yet it will go in one ear and out the other air with the majority. My promise to you; I will give you the basic framework structure to guide you to understand everything that you need to know about developing into an elite professional athlete. You will have the exact framework to follow, you can then take the information that you learned here and apply it to your own personal athlete development program. I guarantee if you apply in your real life what you learned here in these learning sessions you will shorten the learning curve, you will definitely help avoid a lot of frustrating and disappointing mistakes along your journey. Regarding the fundamentals: +There is only a minimal amount of information that you need to understand about mastering the fundamentals.+If you take the information that you heard, if you have the sense of urgency to apply it you will be one of the 1% of successful people over your working career. This is a fact I promise you. +I'm building this for you I literally spent a couple years figuring out how to create and produce this podcast. I'm doing this for you because I want to help you shorten the learning curve so you have a lot of fun. Blah blah blah blah LOL! Are you in? Are you going to work on your homework? Are you going to complete your homework and submit to the email address [email protected] ?If you make this happen you are a part of the elite BMX teacher club = "Club All In" (you're committing to being a part of the 1%) To your success!

Confusing having fun on a bike with a job
In this episode I introduced what I'm doing here at athlete career development and at the end of the episode I talked about some athletes confused having fun riding their bike or racing with having a job as a professional athlete. Talking points; Do you have the drive to do the cold morning training rides? Having to get up at 5:00 a.m. to do a 7:00 a.m. practice? Who wants to ride their bike at 7:00 a.m. in the cold? Having semis and mains late at night. How many times have you went to the BMX track or the trails at 9:00 p.m. to go ride? "I do all the time said no one ever." Those were my sentiments the last 2 years of being a bmx bike racer.

1970sBMX Pool, vert skatepark, and street riding audio
In the 1970s and Junior High School and High School skateboarding pool riding and skatepark riding was blowing up big time. I was fortunate to have access to my father's Mustang, this would enable me to travel and session at empty pools, ride local skateparks all around La and Orange County.. So much documentation about Dogtown and Z boys, there's a whole other side to the scene, skateboarding scene that hasn't been documented and made public officially.
