Captain J takes a hard drag from a cigarette after watching two famous surveyors on board find issues. He is a bit worried about what else they might find and begins to show his anxiety The engine surveyor comes out of the engine department and smells and tastes the oil and signals possible trouble. The suveyors are known to find problems and assess a lower price and Capt J is on edge.

The actors are directed to negotiate the sale of a boat after a brief sea trial but sense engine trouble. The buyer is directed to ask questions to the seller, and the sell does not have the answers for his own boat. The broker played by R. Lewis Jr. jumps in to save the day!

The Broker - Scene 4 - Ghost Ship: Directed by R. Lewis Jr.
The script I wrote called for a moored yacht that was in poor condition and resembled a pirate ship, or a ghost ship. After scouting locations for a few weeks, I stumbled upon this vessel. I immediately got in touch with Captain K., and we negotiated our way onto the vessel which included rowing our way on board.

The Broker - Scene 13 - Blood in the Water
R. Lewis Jr. directs himself as he enters the water to view a hull with the divers. During the filming, R. Lewis Jr. was cut and blood spilled into the water. Out of safety concerns with numerous juvenile bull sharks spotted in the water, the shoot was cut short, but we got the shots we needed.

R. Lewis Jr. is acting and directing in scene 121. This is a live scene filmed on location during the filming of 'The Broker.' I have directed two shots at different stages of the race. The shot on the left is prior to racing and the shot on the right is filmed during a high speed race.
