Episode 15: The Sky is the Limit (ft. Sky Burke)
In this episode, my guest Sky Burke and I discuss importance of self-advocacy. In part one of this two-part series of episodes, we are going to take a look at the many benefits of cooking and baking as a hobby. Last week we talked about developing intrinsic motivation, which is the motivation to accomplish a goal that comes from within. Another way to develop intrinsic motivation that we didn’t talk about last time is to put yourself in positions where you can have a series of successes in a short period of time. With success comes more confidence in yourself, and a feeling that you can accomplish more complex goals I personally believe that cooking is a fun and easy way to put yourself in a position to have success.
