Happy Halloween! The trick-or-treaters have gone, there's a little bit of candy left in the bowl, and it's time to settle in for scary movie night, but what to watch? So many horror films out there. Well, it's Cinema Craptaculus to the rescue with a minisode that makes the case for the definitive Halloween film. Hint: it's all in the title.

Steph, John, Steve & Dave put down their phones for screen time with Ice Cube and his (fictional) family! The War of the Worlds has been adapted many times since its first publication in 1898, and each adaptation represented the era in which it was created -- Famously as a radio show in 1938 and the first movie in 1953 when there were national fears of military invasion … then as a Spielberg film in 2005 when there was a national fear of terrorist invasion… And now in 2025 when there’s a national fear of invasion of Privacy! Steve Silverman from WORLD GONE GOOD joins Steph, John & Dave to find the good in the Netflix original ATLAS!Big robots! AI Craziness! And the weight (and the future) of the world is all on J-Lo’s back! Tara, Adam and Dave road trip to 2 road houses to play nice, have drink and throwdown with Jake Gyllenhaal and Patrick Swayze!Jake Gyllenhaal plays Ex-UFC fighter Dalton who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys road house, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems. This updated Roadhouse is directed by Doug Limen and premiered on Amazon Prime. And even though it didn’t premiere in theaters like the creators wanted, it did attract 50 million viewers in its first two weekends.  Also starring in this barroom romp is Connor McGregor, Daniela Melchoir and Billy Magnussen    Plus a movie that PEOPLE ALSO WATCHED – especially the creators of the 2024 Road House remake, because it’s the original Road House! This holiday season, Steph, Dave & John switch it up for Christmas! What happens when you cross Freaky Friday with Like Father Like Son and throw in Christmas just for shits and giggles. Ty Freer (writer) joins John & Dave to jump into the action of Chris Hemsworth’s latest Netflix shenanigans! The Russos take off the superhero costumes and replace superhero powers with super powered guns in EXTRACTION 2! Here's the rapid recap to catch you up! At the end of EXTRACTION 1, Chris Hemsworth’s character Tyler Rake (wait, that’s really his name? Anyway…) Tyler Rake fell off a bridge and was presumed dead? Maybe. I don’t know, I didn’t see it. But he wasn’t dead! Just really injured. And they save him. Facing the possibility of hanging out in the most beautiful cabin in the most beautiful woods in the world, Tyler Rake has the need, the need for speed killing. So some guy comes in who I don’t know who he is, but I know he’s important because he’s all Nick Fury like and he has a job for Tyler Rake – a job only Tyler Rake can do – rescue a family who is living in a prison to be close to the husband who is in the prison because he’s part of some sort of eastern bloc mafia and they….are going to…– you know what, let’s get to the blowing up and the killing. Tyler Rake gets the family which starts a 2-hour chase sequence that pretty much goes, bang, bang, bang, boom, helicopters, explosions, trains, buildings, bang, boom, glass breaking, people fall, car chase, more people die, church, stab, stab, stab dead, dead, dead. The END!
