    Our guest today is one of my favorite people at Sinclair College. She plays a vital role within the Sinclair community and empowers everyone around her to reach for the stars. She is the backbone of success for many students at Sinclair, equipping them with the skills they need not only to succeed at Sinclair but also in their future endeavors.She previously worked at the Fast-Forward Re-engagement Center, which aims to provide guidance to out-of-school youth and those at risk of dropping out by helping them choose the best academic pathways to ensure their success. She is currently the Project Director of S.O.A.R., which stands for Student Outreach and Academic Resilience. She is also an emotional wellness coach.     My Journey With Professor Amaha Sellassie

    Today, we welcome Professor Amaha Sellassie, a key figure in the Dayton community. He is a community builder, peace advocate, and social justice activist. As the co-founder and president of the Gem City Market's board of trustees, he works to combat food apartheid by improving access to fresh produce in West Dayton.     Meet Kevin Kelly, a man that’s spent a decade promoting peace in Dayton and beyond

    For years Kevin Kelly has championed the cause of peace in Dayton through his work with the International Peace Museum. Starting as a volunteer and working his way up to Executive Director, its been a wild ride for the former educator. Kelly joined us to discuss the meaning of peace, highlights from the past decade, and what the future holds for him as he prepares to begin a new chapter in his career.
