Dating on Fire 🔥
Can you believe it's the final episode of Season 1? To commemorate this momentous occasion, we've decided to have an entire episode of Rapid Fire questions! (It's basically a Q&A about dating, but "Dating on Fire" sounds much more interesting. lol) Tune in as we tackle questions like these:How far is too far? What should I look for in a boyfriend/girlfriend?Can I flirt to convert (date a non-christian)?What if I've already fallen into sexual sin? "Patience is a Virtue" - James 5:7-11
Waiting. Something that's not your favourite thing if you're anything like us. But if you're a Christian today, you're waiting, whether you're aware of it or not. We're all waiting for Jesus to come back and fix everything that sin has broken. As we wait, how do we endure difficult times? How does Jesus' second coming give us hope when we face hard circumstances? Tune in as Simon, Hannah, and Lydia discuss these things in today's episode. Digging Dating out of the Dumpster
There are so many instances when dating is just trashy. Does that mean that dating belongs in the dumpster? We don't think so! Though dating in high school can come with its challenges, we believe it can be done well. Today, Hannah, Simon, Darrell, and Lydia discuss the pros and cons of dating in high school. Then we head to 1 Corinthians 13 to see what true, biblical love looks like and discuss what that could look like in a high school dating relationship. *An important caveat: your parents are your authority, not us. If they don't want you to date in high school, don't. But still listen to the episode! The principles we talk about can apply to any relationship, not just romantic ones.* Connect with us!Instagram: @connected.podcastFacebook: The Connected PodcastEmail: [email protected]

"You Can't Have It Both Ways" - James 4:4-10
"If only..." We've all been there, haven't we? If only this one thing was better, then I would be happy. Then I could stop fighting with my parents. Then I could be content with my body. Then I could do better in school. Tune into today's episode as Simon, Hannah, and Lydia go back to the book of James and discuss the one place where true satisfaction can be found.Connect with us!Instagram: @connected.podcastFacebook: The Connected PodcastEmail: [email protected]

"Watch Your Tongue" - James 3:1-12
Did you know the tongue is the strongest muscle in the human body? Okay, not literally (as Lydia discovered much too late in life, apparently). But the book of James tells us that the tongue (our speech) has incredible power - for good or for bad. Join us as Simon, Hannah, and Lydia tackle this topic in today's episode. Oh Brother (and sister)!
Oh, the joy of siblings! (We'll let you decide the level of sarcasm built into that statement.) Whether you've got one or 10 or no siblings at all, we invite you to listen in on our conversations about our brothers and sisters. We share funny stories from our growing-up years and go to God's Word for practical help and advice on how to live with the people God has placed in our families (whether we like them or not). F.R.I.E.N.D.S. - He'll be there for you!
Now that we've got the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. theme song stuck in your head, we'll burst your bubble (or maybe give you a sigh of relief!) and let you know that we're not actually talking about the famous sitcom on today's episode. Instead, we discuss friendships - the good and the hard; how friendships have been affected by The 'Rona; and how Christ came to restore our friendship with God. Because of that restored friendship, none of us who are in Christ will ever be truly alone. Connect with us!Instagram: @connected.podcastFacebook: The Connected PodcastEmail: [email protected]
