KATSEYE Is A Social Experiment
SEASON 4 — EPISODE 4 KATSEYE. Manon. OT5. Blackness, beauty politics, fandom psychology, and the controversy becoming bigger than the music. A dialogue about identity, visibility, race, influence, label politics, and what happens when a global girl group becomes an unresolved storyline. Super unpopular opinion: I think OT5 will be fine, but I question their long-term relevance. The audience loves the visuals and performance, but the personalities have not connected yet. That is where Manon came in — she helped build thesocial profile of this group, and in the middle of the label’s drama, they created a star. THECONSCIOUSBAE.CO

Being Nice Gets You Nowhere
SEASON 4 — EPISODE 3 Being “too nice” might be ruining your life. A dialogue about kindness, respect, emotional boundaries, tone management, self-preservation, and the uncomfortable reality that society often rewards assertiveness more than compassion. In this episode, The Conscious Bae explores the hidden relationship between softness, passiveness, dominance, and human behavior — especially through the lens of being a Black woman navigating workplaces, relationships, friendships, and everyday life. Super unpopular opinion: Sometimes being overly kind, emotionally available, and understanding does not make people respect you more. In many situations, it can actually make people take you for granted. THECONSCIOUSBAE.CO

I Don’t Think He Ever Moved On
SEASON 4 — EPISODE 2 Chris Brown. Karrueche. Emotional imprinting, attachment, familiarity, and the hidden ways unresolved feelings continue shaping our lives. A dialogue about relationships, emotional blueprints, nervous system patterns, authenticity, and the reality that some people do not just leave your life — they leave an imprint. Super unpopular opinion: I think he misses Karrueche, regrets it, and probably tried to resolve it. I just think Karruche mentally checked out years ago — and once some women leave emotionally, they are gone for real. Sometimes relationships end physically long before they end psychologically. Some people become attached to your emotional blueprint — your peace, your familiarity, your energy, your timing. And years later, even when life moves forward, parts of that attachment quietly remain. THECONSCIOUSBAE.CO

She WANTED To Be The Exception | Megan
SEASON 4 — EPISODE 1 Megan. Klay. Attention, desire, image, and the illusion of being “the exception.” A dialogue about relationships, self-awareness, emotional patterns, and the internal issues people avoid that eventually show up in their lives. Super unpopular opinion: This was PR from the jump. THECONSCIOUSBAE.CO

This Wicked Film Was RACIALLY Coded
It wasn’t just the story — it was the symbolism. The green skin. The framing. The ending. All of it reinforced familiar hierarchies. I wasn’t a fan of this film for children — especially not for Black girls. Because the messaging isn’t neutral. It subtly teaches who is feared, who is protected, and who is expected to carry the burden. The music is beautiful. The videography and cinematography are strong. From a technical standpoint, the film is well made. But casting and storytelling matter just as much as aesthetics. And when you look at the narrative choices as a whole, the symbolism, character positioning, and ending communicate ideas that deserve to be questioned — especially when young audiences are watching. We can appreciate the artistry while still being honest about the implications. And we should demand storytelling that is not only visually impressive, but also intentional, affirming, and responsible in how it shapes perception. Black girls deserve fantasy that expands possibilities — not stories that quietly place them at the margins. -- the conscious bae archives are here | www.theconsciousbae.co home of the unfiltered bae — a curated collection of ebooks, insights, and perspectives. my truth. my raw thoughts. no filter. explore what’s new. join the community for exclusive drops 🖤

KEKE… Girl, You Knew This Wasn’t It | Southern Fried Rice
Keke Palmer’s new show, Southern Fried Rice, is stirring up major controversy — and not the good kind. In this video, I reflects a bigger issue in Hollywood: Black creatives being used to produce content that mocks, rather than uplifts, our culture. This isn’t just about one show or film — it’s about accountability, representation, and who’s really controlling the narrative. the conscious bae archives are here | www.theconsciousbae.co home of the unfiltered bae — a curated collection of ebooks, insights, and perspectives. my truth. my raw thoughts. no filter. explore what’s new. join the community for exclusive drops 🖤

The IMAGE Society Prefers for BW.
Not every image of love is shown equally. Society highlights some while overlooking the softness and strength in others. This conversation explores how that plays out in the Black community — and how it still shapes the way we view each other today. Love who you want and be happy, but let’s also call for balance in how all love is shown. the conscious bae archives are here | www.theconsciousbae.co home of the unfiltered bae — a curated collection of ebooks, insights, and perspectives. my truth. my raw thoughts. no filter. explore what’s new. join the community for exclusive drops 🖤

Why Tyla Triggered the INTERNET.
Tyla’s WWP EP has already pulled 60M+ streams and charted on Billboard. Meanwhile, ‘Water’ has crossed 1 BILLION streams and gone 3x Platinum. Yet people still call her a flop. This isn’t about music — it’s about projection.
