Hello there! This week we'll tee up Christopher Nolan's new movie The Odyssey, which is getting terrific reviews. We'll also tee up the new Will Ferrell golf comedy on Netflix, The Hawk, which is TERRIBLE. I watched the original Moana and its 2024 sequel in the wake of the live action remake's box office failure. We offer our thoughts on season 2 of X-Men 97, and Jeff went to see Supergirl. Sam Neill has died at 78. And in honour of the recent 4th of July, I decided to revisit the 1996 classic Independence Day, and the not-so-classic from 2016, Independence Day Resurgence. I didn't hate it this time! - Brett

The Emmy nominations are out so we go through the ones we've seen, or should we say the ones we HAVEN'T seen?? Because... there are many. We'll also look at what's new at the movies including The Rock, some demons, a bizarro dinner party, and chasing Jon Hamm! Jeff's got a review for a movie that's one of his favourites of the year so far, I've got a review of one of my favourites. AND, Jeff shares some exciting news on the new HEAT project, and I'll take a look at season 3 of the excellent sci-fi series Silo. - Brett

Hello there! This week we'll tee up the new movies, including a new one starring the Minions. I am not a fan. Also, Jeff reviews Enola Holmes 3 on Netflix, and we'll go over the first trailer for the new Robert Eggers movie Werwulf. Jeff checked out Avatar: Fire and Ash, now that it's on Disney+, and I watched some Avatar... the other one... again! I rewatched season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, and it helped me formalize some more thoughts on why having good characters is SO IMPORTANT YES I AM YELLING - Brett

This week we'll review the first episode of season 3 of House of the Dragon, we'll tee up the new movies Supergirl and Jackass, I've got a follow-up review on a show I touched on last week and I am SO MAD. I've also got a review of S2 of one of my favourite shows of the last few years. Jeff takes a look at an excellent WWII documentary series, and celebrates the life and career of TV comedy legend James Burrows. - Brett

This week we'll tee up the return of the Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon, which debuts season 3 this weekend. We'll also tee up what's new at the movies, including Toy Story 5. THEY MADE ANOTHER ONE??? Yes they did, and by all accounts, it's fantastic! Jeff's got a review of the new Spielberg movie Disclosure Day, and I'll tell you about two spooky shows that are EXCELLENT... Widow's Bay, and The Boroughs. - Brett

This week we look at the new movies including Steven Spielberg's latest 'Disclosure Day', and have a chat about the amazing career he's had. Jeff will tell you about the Lifetime Achievement Award special for Eddie Murphy. And we discussed two new movie trailers which both fill Jeff with existential terror... a movie called 'Whalefall' about a guy getting swallowed by a giant whale, and another one called 'Fall 2: Deadpoint', about people stranded on a tiny perch on the side of a mountain roughly 5,000 feet off the ground! - Brett

This week we'll discuss the stunning results at the box office this past weekend and how exciting it could be for shaking up the status quo in Hollywood. We also look at what's new at the movies, including HE-MAN, the new Scary Movie, and yet another Internet trend making its way to the big screen. We also took a look at the new Nicolas Cage show on Prime, 'Spider-Noir', AND Jeff celebrates the legendary career of Clint Eastwood... who is retiring at the age of 96. - Brett

This week we take a few minutes to reflect upon a personal milestone! Also, Jeff's got a review of The Mandalorian and Grogu, while I finally got around to watching The Housemaid. Jeff checked out the new Jack Ryan movie on Prime, and I revisited the original Top Gun before it disappears from Netflix. IT IS SO CORNY. - Brett

This week we'll go through the finale for Survivor 50 AND WILL HAVE SPOILERS as we discuss what's been an excellent season. Jeff has a review of The Sheep Detectives (loved it). Star Wars is back on the big screen for the first time since 2019 with The Mandalorian & Grogu... MEH? And I'll go through the series finale for the superhero show The Boys, which left me with mixed emotions. - Brett

Jeff was finally able to get in to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, and he watched a new Sally Field movie on Netflix. This week's new movies include some classics revisited, and two new ones that are getting fabulous reviews. I watched season 2 of Citadel... remember that? On Prime? Was it worth checking out? Jeff's also got a review of a Bruce Willis not-classic. - Brett

This week we'll tee up the new movies of the week, including Mortal Kombat II, and The Sheep Detectives! They are sheep, and they are detectives. We also have some thoughts on the second season of Daredevil Born Again which just wrapped up, AND I screwed something up last week and must fall on the sword! I also watched the new Hulk Hogan documentary on Netflix and it's excellent, while Jeff revisited the Star Wars prequel trilogy. - Brett

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM! The summer movie season is upon us, including a sequel 20 years in the making that's bound for glory! We also discussed the latest episode of Survivor which was NUTS, and I offered a quick review of the new Star Wars show MAUL: Shadow Lord. Jeff has reviews of Greenland 2, and the new Charlize Theron movie Apex. He also has some reviews of some penguin movies, and I've got a review of season 4 of the completely bonkers superhero cartoon INVINCIBLE. - Brett UPDATE: I don't know why I thought this week was the end of the season for Maul Shadow Lord. There are two more episodes on MAY THE FOURTH. I thought I read it somewhere that it was finished but clearly I got my stuff mixed up. Final two episodes on Star Wars Day! - Brett
