Jordan Blount is the most discussed Irish basketball prospect in roughly forever and he caught up with BiE's Emmet Ryan to chat about his time playing with the Irish national program, his development at CBA in Gran Canaria, and his decision to play NCAA hoops with University of Illinois Chicago.

The UNC Tar Heels came to Dublin and that gave BiE the chance to catch up with Hall of Fame coach Sylvia Hatchell along with Ireland national team head coach Mark Scannell. Hatchell talked about the importance of the trips to Europe for her young Tar Heels side while Scannell had plenty to say about the future of the sport in Ireland. Emmet is also joined in this episode by Niall McDermott of the Courtside Collective to discuss the series between UNC and Ireland along with what Niall's site does.
