As 2024 comes to a close, it is time for reflection. Cal State Fullerton social media student assistant Lina Naranjo shares the lessons she’s learned this year on building confidence and staying determined.

Do you ever wonder what drives climate change and contributes to food waste? On this week’s episode we have Cal State Fullerton environmental studies graduate student, Ranela Sunga, to break it down for us.  Sunga is currently a Team Leader for the California Climate Action Corps, where she helps reduce the effects of climate change in the communities through urban greening, wildfire resiliency, and food recovery. She is also the social media coordinator and graduate ambassador for the Environmental Studies graduate program.

On this week’s episode we have Cal State Fullerton Alumnus, Mingyu Wu, to discuss how college prepared him to land a job at Paramount Pictures. Mingyu has worked on various films such as "Smile," "A Quiet Place" and "Transformers One." Additionally, he has helped plan the creative social media content for famous films like “Mean Girls.”

On this week’s #CSUFPod, Dr. Dust lists the different techniques you can use to ease your body mentally and physically - emphasizing that your past DOES NOT define you.  Additionally, he shares his experiences as a combat veteran of the Iraq War and how returning back home with PTSD led him to complete a PHD in health promotion sciences with a concentration in neurocognitive sciences.
