    True Rags to Riches story from Growing Up in Extreme Poverty in a US Trailer Park in rural Louisiana to UK Boardrooms via MIT, Wall Street and Oxford Uni while Battling Imposter Syndrome. In her own words on social media where Terri shares that "growing up a dirt poor little Cajun girl in a trailer in rural Louisiana definitely made me feel a lot different."In this episode, Terri Duhon joins our Founder, Co-Producer and Host Prof Miranda Brawn on The D.A.R.E. Podcast (where Miranda is also a fellow derivatives s/trader, entrepreneur, lawyer, global speaker, board member, Oxford University visiting Fellow and author of 'The Brawn Review') to discuss Terri's journey from rural Louisiana to UK's boardrooms.Terri grew up very poor in a trailer with forms the foundation of her imposter syndrome. She went on to study maths at MIT and worked on the trading floor in Wall Street for 10 years from 1994 to 2004 as a credit derivatives trader.  She left investment banking to become an entrepreneur and author. This was followed by many attempts and lots of persistence to eventually become an associate fellow/lecturer at Oxford University and a board member. Whether you're an aspiring leader, entrepreneur, student, executive, board member, or simply interested in hearing about a former female trader reinvent her career, this episode offers valuable insights into leadership, taking risks, persistence and battling imposter syndrome.
