On episode 7 of The Dirtbag Discovery, I have an early morning chat with local artist and boulder bro Benny P. Known for his chill vibes and sick fits Ben uses vulnerable storytelling and new perspectives to create a relatable atmosphere. Where he lets us in on his 2+ year climbing journey, his transition into the local climbing scene from the hockey world, and what the sport of climbing has offered him in terms of personal growth and self discovery. 

On episode 6 of The Dirtbag Discovery, I sit down with local girl crusher and Trailheads head setter Karmen Clews. Karmen has 17 years of climbing experience and offers us insight into the struggles and triumphs of her own personal climbing journey. Known for her wild intensity, vast knowledge of climbing movement, and her generosity in developing climbers in our community, Karmen shares personal anecdotes from her past few months of sending and lets us in on all her training secrets.

On episode 5 of The Dirtbag Discovery I sit down with my long time friend Adam Wright as he offers us blunt and straightforward insights into his climbing journey. Adam has been on the road to mastery for the better half of this decade and by using supplemental humour he depicts the kind of mental shift and physical tenacity required to improve in the world of climbing.

On episode 4 of The Dirtbag Discovery, I sit down with Trailheads most affable member Jon Waterman. Jon is a long time member of the Central Alberta climbing community and offers us some beautiful insight into the moments that have shaped his climbing style and journey. Regaining confidence and finding balance through his work Jon is stoked to keep moving forward in his climbing journey and to be present in the mountains when the opportunity arises.

On episode 3 of The Dirtbag Discovery, I sit down with the passionate pebble wrestler Mau Ortiz. Mau is a climbing coach at Trailhead and will be a lifetime student of the rock. Currently, juggling the demands of becoming a Primary Care Paramedic and trying to become the best rock climber that he can be. Mau shares his climbing journey through a lens of regularness with stoke and enthusiasm, and lets us in on some rather beautiful revelations that the sport of climbing has led him to discover.

On episode 2 of The Dirtbag Discovery, I sit down with local legend Brian Olstad. Brian is a lifelong climber and co-author and designer of the newest David Thompson Corridor guidebook. Currently, transforming his love and appreciation for climbing Brian uses passionate and detailed storytelling to share some classic stories and vulnerable insights about his climbing journey. I was extremely grateful that I got to be present with him throughout this episode I hope you all enjoy:)

Known for his grindy sport climbing projects, Kurtis has recently engulfed himself in the world of mastery. In this interview Kurtis offers us some insight into his own personal climbing journey, shares some of his lessons and tips for new climbers, and shares some insider information for the Red Deer climbing community.
