After going to BOTH, Billi breaks down last Sunday’s All In PPV and last night’s edition of Sunday Night’s Main Event.  The All In clash between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega has been widely considered an all-time classic main event. Other reviewers highlighted the intense, bloody-nosed physical drama, Ospreay's brutal Tiger Driver, and the emotional weight of Ospreay winning the title in front of his home-country crowd. Other notable matches included Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retaining against the Young Bucks in a hard-hitting tag team bout, and Kazuchika Okada defeating Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita for the International Championship.   WWE’s Sunday Night’s Main Event was headlined by a deeply personal rematch from WrestleMania 42, as Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton put on a highly aggressive showcase. The finish strongly implies that a third rubber match with a major stipulation is on the horizon. One of the most praised segments of the night was the heavyweight clash between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker. Introduced by Paul Heyman, both powerhouses put on a physical masterclass before the match ended in a disqualification, when a returning Bronson Reed —out for over six months with a torn biceps— stormed the ring, reunited with The Vision faction. 

Billi deep delves into what was a very good week of wrestling, but not before he runs through some topics of interests that landed on his radar via wrestling social media, including CM Punk’s fascination with young girls on the roster, Russo’s continuous lies and Conrad Thompson’s continued hatred of Roman Reigns. 

Billi exposes 4 of the biggest agenda driven hypocritical frauds in the wrestling content space. 

SummerSlam is officially in the history books, as WWE took over the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota for SummerSlam Sunday. The show featured some blockbuster matche, including Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, which main evented the Sunday card. Billi breaks down both nights, giving his star ratings for all 12 matches.

SummerSlam has been a WWE staple event since 1988. Some of WWE's most iconic matches have occurred at SummerSlam, including Bret Hart vs. his brother, Owen, in a classic steel cage match (1994), the first TLC match (2000), Shawn Michaels' in-ring return against Triple H (2002) and CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar (2013). With 38 years of SummerSlam PPV’s to take to account, Billi tries to formulate his list of all-time top 10 SummerSlam matches.

SummerSlam 2021 brought in 51,000, 2022 had over 48,000, 2023’s event 51,000, 2024 had a massive 57,000, and 2025’s two-night event saw 53,000 and 60,000 respectively. However, SummerSlam 2026 is struggling to even get over 30,000 on either night thus far, with things looking like they’re heading towards the lowest attendance since 2020 (when there were zero fans in attendance), even though tickets are being priced up as low as $25 each. It was only 10 months ago when Mark Shapiro said: ”Vince McMahon was primarily pricing tickets for families and wasn’t totally focused on maxing the opportunity there. We see what we can do with the UFC and we’re replicating that in terms of ticket yield and advance sales when it comes to OnLocation on the WWE side. It’s really working out well.”   Looking at the SummerSlam situation, that comment doesn’t seem to he aging very well, and it begs the question, “are the WWE getting their karma” for their unrealistic expectations and extortionate greed? 

Billi provides a live in-person report on WWE’s Clash in Italy PLE. The show emanated from Turin, Italy and saw Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley all successfully retained their titles, while Sol Ruca defeated Becky Lynch for the Intercontinental Championship. However, the show was arguably stolen by Brock Lesnar evening the score against Oba Femi, in an unforgettable and perfectly booked 7 minute booking masterpiece.       

Man, was this PPV a waste of everyone’s time. Roman Reigns and Jacob had a match to set up another match, 3 of the other matches were pointless and John Cena delivered the most confusing and anticlimactic announcement ever. ESPN must be looking for that receipt about now. 

The next chapter in wrestling kicks off with Backlash, with WWE turning the page on its calendar while also dealing with the fallout of WrestleMania 42. Newly crowned Champion Roman Reigns has his first title defence, and it’s a family affair with Jacob Fatu, challenging his cousin for the title. Four other matches are scheduled, mostly featuring feuds that have been in the works long before WrestleMania.

Billi deep delves into what could lie ahead for Jacy Jayne, who only debuted 2 weeks ago, but who seemingly already has more heat than anyone else on the WWE roster. Can the WWE capitalise and get things right from this point? From the moment she arrived in NXT, Jacy Jayne stood out with a ruthless edge, undeniable confidence, and a talent for seizing every opportunity. As part of Toxic Attraction alongside Mandy Rose and Gigi Dolin, Jayne helped reshape NXT’s women’s division, dominating as one half of a top-tier tag team. But her most defining moment came when she betrayed Dolin in brutal fashion — slamming her through the set of Ding Dong, Hello! and launching a new era of her career. Now leading the charge with Fatal Influence — alongside Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx — Jayne has taken her game to a whole new level. That rise culminated when she stunned the NXT Universe by defeating Stephanie Vaquer to become NXT Women’s Champion.

Later than advertised due to some HUGE NEWS that I exclusively broke on The Wrestling Informer, that I wanted to let marinate for a couple of days This part looks at the WWE Meet & Greets and WrestleMania 42 Night 2, and gives your star ratings. As you know, WrestleMania 42 Night 1 has been universally panned, so it was important to convey the feel and vibe after Night 1, and separate that from how most felt after Night 2– which certainly positively impacted and changed the overall feel of the week. This podcast takes much more of an overall overview of both shows and the entire weekend in general.

This part looks at the WWE Hotel x Fans situation - including the CM Punk incident (which I witnessed live) - returning to Vegas and WrestleMania 42 Night 1. As you know, WrestleMania 42 Night 1 has been universally panned, so it was important to convey the feel and vibe after Night 1, and separate that from how most felt after Night 2– which certainly positively impacted and changed the overall feel of the week. 

After days of digging and speaking to multiple sources, I can now drop this bombshell episode— which I wanted to drop for free, so as many people can hear it as possible. You are all being lied to, and it’s time to stop letting the bias wrestling media outlets control the narratives. This podcast reveals the real FACTS behind the McIntyre/Cody/Orton/Fatu situation, that the WWE and the Cody-bias wrestling media don’t want you to hear. 

The most ridiculous and delusional wrestling awards are back, and despite being panned by almost everyone with a shred of common sense, Meltzer had the audacity to say these were the “best received awards” ever. Obviously this guy doesn’t look beyond his own bubble of braindead unwashed virgin subscribers - who he leads towards voting for what he wants anyway - but he also has the warped sense of self-importance to present these awards as some type of official barometer for the year that was— despite the fact that 90% of wrestling fans won’t even be familiar with either the “wrestler of the year” or the “promotion of the year.”

Billi looks back at the year that was 2025, and previews the upcoming Year End Awards— with all the nominations and categories revealed on this show.  How heavily did your opinion of the year overall hinge on the post-success of it’s biggest singular moment— the John Cena heel turn? Was it inevitably a walking dead year if that story failed, or did the WWE make several other significant mistakes before and after? Did AEW do enough to close the gap, while WWE were undoubtedly experiencing a creative slump? 

Billi preview tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, emanating from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C— a somewhat surprising location for John Cena's retirement match. The G.O.A.T will take on Gunther in a match that is set to become a classic. As huge as Cena's retirement match is, that's just one of the interesting matches on tap.

Billi returns to discuss the week that was in wrestling. Coming off a solid Crown Jewel, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed’s attack on Seth Rollins to close out Raw will undoubtedly dominate the chatter in the wrestling world, which, aside from AJ Lee’s return, hadn’t happened too much in recent months. It piqued interest in “what happens next” and raised questions about the future of the World Heavyweight Championship. That should mean more eyeballs on the product.

Billi pays tribute to the GOAT of professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan helped usher in the 1980s professional wrestling boom, where he headlined eight of the first nine editions (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9) of the WWF's flagship annual event WrestleMania. Hogan also was a regular headliner of Saturday Night's Main Event and its spin-off The Main Event. During his initial run, he was a five-time WWF Champion, with his 1,474-day reign being the longest of the WrestleMania era ever. He was the first wrestler to win consecutive Royal Rumble matches, winning in 1990 and 1991. His match with André the Giant on WWF The Main Event on February 5, 1988, still holds American television viewership records for wrestling with a 15.2 Nielsen TV rating and 33 million viewers.

Two of AEW’s original stars, Jon Moxley and “Hangman” Adam Page, will go to battle once more on Saturday, July 12, at All In Texas for the World Championship. This is AEW’s most significant event in promotion history in the United States. Over the last three years, All In has become the biggest event on their calendar. This year’s event will take place at the home of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field.

For years, some speculated on and even wished for a WWE without Vince McMahon at the forefront. Fast forward to the now, and things look very different after an initially glossy honeymoon period— with ridiculous ticket prices, declining ratings, a botched up WrestleMania and an internal feud between The Rock and Triple H, that’s likely to have major consequences. 

Walking back from Raw in Sacramento, Billi pulled out the phone and hit record and Cav was back on your feed, talking the road to WrestleMania and expectations for the cards. 

The Rock wanted Rhodes to become 'his' champion but was instead told to "go **** yourself". It was then Cena who would align himself with the 'Final Boss' in a shocking turn of events, first delivering a low blow to Rhodes following an embrace, hitting him in the head with a watch and then the Undisputed Championship belt before choking Rhodes out with his own tie. Cena and Scott then held Rhodes down for The Rock to whip him with his custom made weightlifting belt. The closing shots of Elimination Chamber 2025 was of Rock and Cena looking back at Rhodes who had blood pouring down his face. It was the most shocking end to a PPV in wrestling history. Billi is joined by Austin to break down what was an incredible show.
