The Dr Stacy Show w Mark Benjamin Environmental Wellness
Episode Five: Black Men & Community Policing Welcome to the Dr. Stacy Show where we speak on faith, love and wellness. This season we are bringing to you black men who are powerful, strong and mighty within the community around them and online. On today’s episode we speak with Mark Benjamin, a retired police captain. Here are a few facts about Mark. He has served our country for twenty-seven years before becoming a police officer. Mark is a man that has a heart for his community, he is passionate about informing officers to be equipped in handling certain situations. While doing all that he has been able to also serve his community as an elected public official on the Winslow Township School Board. In all seriousness, a cool fact about him is he acted in the show the Equalizer with Queen Latifah (which I think is so cool). Come on and tune in today’s episode to hear him share his experiences about community policing, school policing, incarceration of black youth, training as a black officer, and the PAL programs.
