Episode 149 - Goals Shownotes Dyeing Viewer Questions: Hi Laura! I’m sure this will come up in your future dyeing tutorials, but thought I’d ask. When you dye using the twisting and layering technique with immersion dyeing, do you wait for the skeins to cool down before you re-twist them in between layers? Or do you re-twist them while they’re still hot? I foolishly tried this technique with non-superwash yarn a while back and ended up felting my yarn :( I didn’t wait for the yarn to cool down between layers, and even though I tried to gently re-twist them, I’m guessing all the handling and the sudden changes in temperature contributed to the felting. - BellaChix I am looking at niddy noddies and I don’t know which size to get. Somehow I thought I would use it for entertaining (silly me, since I’m an introvert and inviting people over is super stressful for me).
