Christmas Eve marks the 16th anniversary of Notre Dame’s 49-21 win over the Hawaii Warriors in the Hawaii Bowl. Not only was it a tremendously fun game to watch, it also finally ended Notre Dame’s bowl losing streak that stretched back to their last win in January of 1994. We (Josh, Jude, and Brendan) sat down to watch a one-hour cut-up of the game, and this is the podcast... us commenting all the way through. In fact, there are two versions of this podcast. Joshua, Jude, and Brendan excitedly hit record on the pod machine shortly after Notre Dame’s Orange Bowl win over the Penn State Nittany Lions. No bulletpoints are needed as this was a different kind of podcast — just like the Orange Bowl win was a different kind for Notre Dame. Marcus Freeman, somehow, got this team to come out fired up in the second half after what was mostly a brutal first half of play. The Irish did things which we normally don’t see — both good and bad. Not only was it a tremendously fun game to watch, it also finally ended Notre Dame’s bowl losing streak that stretched back to their last win in January of 1994. We (Josh, Jude, and Brendan) sat down to watch a one-hour cut-up of the game, and this is the podcast... us commenting all the way through. In fact, there are two versions of this podcast.
