EP448: Ultimatums vs. Challenges: The Truth That Changed Everything at 54
There’s a version of you that moves fast.Decisive. Powerful. Doesn’t hesitate. And for a long time… it works. Until it doesn’t. In this episode, recorded on my 54th birthday, I pull back the curtain on a pattern that hid inside my strength for decades: Ultimatum energy The kind that says:“This has to work… or else”“This is how it has to go”“Do it… or everything falls apart”It gets results. But it also quietly cuts you off from the very things you say you want. And the truth? There’s another way to move. One that still honors your power…but doesn’t burn everything down in the process. What You’ll Learn in This EpisodeThe difference between ultimatum energy vs. challenge energyWhy even the most self-aware people still have blind spotsHow “strength” can actually mask self-sabotageThe subtle moment where you shut things down too quicklyWhy your nervous system makes decisions before your awareness catches upHow to stay in the moment long enough for something meaningful to unfoldThis Episode Is For You If…You tend to make fast decisions… and sometimes regret themYou’ve been feeling stuck, even though you “know better”You operate in high performance… but feel disconnected underneathYou’ve been hard on yourself for not following throughYou’re ready to shift from force → alignmentThis episode isn’t just insight. It’s a turning point. At 54, this is the shift:From force → flowFrom control → trustFrom ultimatum → challengeAnd the invitation is the same for you. Something in your life is asking you to stay a little longer. EP447: Staying Power: When Courage is Who The F You Are
You were invited. You went first. You survived the initiation. And now you’re here—the part most people never reach. Because invitation feels electric. Initiation feels intense. But integration? Embodiment? That feels steady. And steady is where leaders are built. This episode is about what happens after the leap—when courage stops being an event and becomes your identity. What You’ll Learn in This EpisodeWhy embodiment is the real work after courageThe difference between invitation, initiation, and integrationWhy most people collapse after going firstHow Enneagram patterns show up during embodimentThe difference between awareness and integrated leadershipWhy calm can feel unsafe after transformationHow to build staying power instead of chasing intensityWhat true courage looks like in daily lifeKey Takeaways Embodiment happens after the adrenaline fades:Invitation is the spark. Initiation is the fire. Integration is tending the flame long after the moment passes. Most people love courage but hate maintaining it:The leap is exciting. The maintenance is quiet. Real leadership lives in consistency, not intensity.Without integration, you relive the same lesson in different forms:If you don’t integrate the initiation, you’ll keep repeating the leap in new environments.Collapse often comes from old coping patterns returning:Loneliness, validation-seeking, chaos manufacturing, and retreat cycles are common after transformation.Awareness of your Enneagram isn’t enough—embodiment is the flex:Knowing your patterns is helpful. Leading yourself through them is mastery.Integration turns fear into power:Moving from reacting to responding, from default fear to integrated strength, is the shift that changes everything.Calm can feel unsafe when you’re wired for intensity:If chaos is familiar, peace can feel threatening. Learning to hold calm is a new level of nervous system maturity.Integrity becomes your baseline in embodiment:You stop negotiating with yourself, stop explaining your growth, and start living from alignment.Staying is harder than jumping:Courage is the spark. Staying is the discipline that turns courage into identity.Embodiment is quiet power:It’s less proving, less performing, more presence. Real mastery often looks subtle from the outside.Quotes That Landed “Most people love the moment of courage, but very few love the maintenance of it.” “Invitation is the spark. Initiation is the fire. Embodiment is tending the flame.”“Integration isn’t a box you check—it’s a practice you live.”“Courage becomes powerful when it becomes who you are.”“You don’t need another leap. You need staying power.”Try This This Week Notice where you’re chasing intensity instead of practicing integrity.Ask yourself: Am I looking for another leap—or learning how to stay? Practice holding steady. No proving. No performing. Just presence. If this trilogy resonated with you, don’t keep it to yourself. EP446: What Happens After You Go First: The Good, The Hard, & The Ugly
You went first. You felt the nudge, told the truth, made the call, and jumped. And then… the noise stopped. No parade. No instant confirmation. Just space. This episode is about the moment no one prepares you for—the initiation that comes after courage. The silence. The grief. The recalibration. And how to stay rooted when relief and terror coexist in the same breath. What You’ll Learn in This EpisodeWhy the moment after courage is often harder than the decision itselfWhat the “initiation phase” actually is—and why nothing has gone wrongThe good, the hard, and the ugly that show up after you go firstHow grief can exist without meaning regretWhy your Enneagram patterns flare up after the jumpThe difference between courage and staying powerHow to regulate your nervous system when calm feels unsafeWhat truly gets rebuilt—and what has to fall awayKey Takeaways:Going first is an initiation, not a finish line:The decision is only the threshold. What follows is a period of identity lag, silence, and recalibration.Silence after courage is normal—not a sign you failed:The lack of feedback can feel destabilizing, but it doesn’t mean you chose wrong. It means you crossed a threshold.Your body often knows before your mind catches up:Relief, calm, and nervous system settling often arrive alongside panic and doubt.Grief doesn’t mean regret—it means it mattered:You can grieve people, roles, identities, and seasons even when the decision was absolutely right. After courage, old protection patterns get louder:Your Enneagram wiring doesn’t disappear—it flares. Control, people-pleasing, overthinking, or avoidance are common responses.Over-explaining is a form of self-betrayal:Trying to make others understand can pull you back into captivity and erode your authority.Loneliness can drive self-sabotage if you’re not aware:Isolation, overcompensation, numbing, or stirring drama can feel regulating—but they destabilize you further.Calm can feel more dangerous than chaos:If chaos is familiar, peace can trigger fear. Learning to stay in calm is a skill. The real work is staying, not jumping:Courage is the leap. Leadership is staying when the novelty fades and no one is clapping.Integrity is a daily practice, not a one-time choice:Going first requires continuously choosing not to abandon yourself.Quotes That Landed: “Going first isn’t just a decision—it’s an initiation.”“Grief does not equal regret.”“Courage is the jump. Staying is the practice.”“Nothing has gone wrong. You’re being refined.”“Calm can feel unsafe when chaos is familiar.”Try This This Week When discomfort shows up after a brave decision, pause and ask:Am I trying to escape the quiet, or am I learning to stay with myself? Practice staying—without over-explaining, fixing, or retreating. If this episode stirred something in you, don’t rush to fix it or explain it. Let it settle. Nothing has gone wrong. Share this episode with someone who’s in the aftermath of a brave choice. Leave a review if it resonated. And if you want to talk it through, slide into my DMs or reach out through my website. Next episode, we’re diving deeper into what it means to stay—to embody courage over and over again, long after the jump. I’m rooting for you. You’re not alone. We’re doing this together.

EP445: GO FIRST: The Power & Courage It Takes To Lead Without Permission
There is a moment—quiet, internal, undeniable—when you realize you’re being asked to go first. Not first to perform. Not first to prove. First to tell the truth. First to stop pretending something fits when it doesn’t. First to move without permission, applause, or certainty. In this episode, we talk about that moment—why it’s so unsettling, how your wiring influences your resistance, and what it actually costs to ignore the call when you already know what’s true. What You’ll Learn in This EpisodeWhat “going first” actually means—and what it doesn’tWhy going first feels terrifying even when you know it’s rightHow each Enneagram center resists going first in different waysThe nervous-system reason staying feels safer than leavingThe real cost of not going first—and why it compounds over timeHow to move forward without certainty, approval, or permissionKey TakeawaysGoing first is an internal decision, not a public performance:It’s rarely loud or impressive. Most of the time, it happens quietly—long before anyone else understands or agrees.Your nervous system prioritizes safety over truth:Biologically, you’re wired to choose belonging, control, and certainty—even when your soul knows something no longer fits.Your Enneagram wiring shapes how you resist going first:Gut types tighten and endure. Heart types adapt and self-abandon. Head types wait for more certainty. Different strategies—same fear.Waiting is often fear disguised as discernment:What looks like patience, loyalty, or wisdom is frequently avoidance when staying feels safer than moving. The real question isn’t “Will this work?” but “Can I live with myself if I don’t?”There comes a moment when staying costs more than leaving—and your body knows it first.Going first often costs approval but builds self-trust:You may lose proximity, validation, or familiarity—but you gain clarity, integrity, and forward momentum. Not going first compounds quietly over time:Resentment, exhaustion, anxiety, and self-betrayal grow when you keep choosing what fits your past instead of your truth.Courage isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you practice:You don’t need permission or certainty. You need the willingness to stop abandoning yourself.Quotes That Landed “Leadership doesn’t announce itself. It whispers—and waits to see if you’ll listen.”“You’re more tired of betraying yourself than being misunderstood.”“Waiting often isn’t discernment—it’s fear.”“Going first doesn’t end the story. It begins it.”“You may lose approval, but you gain self-trust.”Try This This Week Notice where you keep circling the same decision.Ask yourself: What am I hoping will change—when I already know what’s true? Then take one honest step forward without over-explaining, justifying, or waiting for permission. If this episode stirred something in you, don’t rush to quiet it. That restlessness isn’t a problem—it’s a signal. Share this episode with someone who’s standing at the edge of a decision. Leave a review if it landed. And if you want to keep the conversation going, slide into my DMs and tell me where you feel the call to go first. Next episode, we’re talking about what actually happens after you go first—the good, the hard, and the parts no one likes to talk about.

EP444: Money, Power & the Codes We Inherited—And the Ones We’re Finally Breaking with Amber Lilyestrom (SO Enneagram 9)
We’re in the year of the fire horse—and if you already feel like you’ve been bucked off the saddle, you’re not failing…you’re being invited to lead yourself differently. In this powerful first interview of 2026, I sit down with one of my closest friends and greatest teachers, Amber Lilyestrom, to talk about self-leadership, money, nervous system safety, sovereignty, and the subconscious codes that quietly run your life. This is not about more strategy. This is about the operating system you’re running—and whether it’s finally time to upgrade. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why self-leadership is where most high performers actually get stuck. How subconscious “money codes” shape your income, confidence, and visibility. Why knowing better doesn’t mean doing better (and what to do about it).The real connection between money, safety, love, and belonging. Why money problems are never actually about money. How nervous system conditioning sabotages success, receiving, and self-trust.The danger of outsourcing your authority to coaches, gurus, and “success culture.”Why information without integration keeps you stuck. How to begin upgrading your internal operating system in 2026.Key Takeaways:Your Operating System Shapes Your Results: Subconscious wiring—not strategy—determines how you lead, earn, and grow.Survival Patterns Once Saved You: The behaviors holding you back were adaptive intelligence—now they need an upgrade, not shame.Money Is an Effect, Not the Cause: Income reflects self-trust, nervous system safety, and your relationship with receiving.Early Love Patterns Still Run Your Business: What you exchanged for belonging shapes visibility, confidence, and wealth today.Outsourcing Authority Erodes Power: True sovereignty begins when you stop giving your future to gurus and hype.Receiving Is the Real Block: Conditional love and control patterns limit abundance more than lack of skill ever could.Strategy Without Integration Fails: Tactics can’t override unresolved emotional wiring.Self-Trust Is the Ultimate Currency: When you trust yourself, you become regulated, resilient, and unshakeable.Quotes That Landed:“You’re not broken — you’re running outdated technology.”“Money is an effect. We are the cause.”“You have to feel it to free it.”“Information without integration is just a cluttered mind and spirit.”“Self-trust is the ultimate currency.”“You don’t get a replay on your loved ones’ lives.”Try This This Week (Your EDGE Move):Journal honestly on these questions:What did I have to exchange to feel loved or safe as a child?Where do I still abandon myself to feel secure?Where am I outsourcing my authority instead of trusting myself? What feeling am I numbing instead of listening to?Then choose one small act of sovereignty:Say the real thing.Feel the uncomfortable emotion.Stop betraying yourself around money, visibility, or worth.Resources Mentioned:Amber Lilyestrom — Money Codes Free Workshop👉 amberlilyestrom.com/codesPodcast: Homeward: The Sovereign Business PodcastThis is not the year to outrun your patterns. EP443: The Discerning Fire Horse: Why This Isn't The Year to Just CHARGE
It’s mid-January and if you’re already exhausted, frustrated, or quietly wondering what the hell just happened—you’re not broken. This episode isn’t hype. It’s discernment. The year of the horse doesn’t care about your declarations; it cares about your regulation, your timing, and your truth. Speed is reactive. Torque is power applied on purpose. In this episode, I break down why January lies to us, the three types of “fire horses” most of us ride, and how to stop burning yourself out or justifying hesitation as wisdom. This won’t be the year you start the fastest—it’s the year you finish the strongest. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why January rewards adrenaline—but adrenaline isn’t wisdom or sustainable energy. The difference between horsepower (reactive speed) and torque (intentional force). The three Fire Horse archetypes: The Charger, The Staller, and The Discerning Fire Horse. How hype disconnects you from nervous system readiness and emotional truth. Why most people execute someone else’s vision (or an outdated version of their own). How the Enneagram reveals why you move the way you do.What “regulated power” actually looks like in real life.Key Takeaways:1. January Lies to YouJanuary rewards loud declarations, performative momentum, and borrowed adrenaline. It ignores nervous system capacity, emotional readiness, and relational reality.Speed feels productive—but it comes with a bill.“Expectations are just a lead-up to resentment.”2. Speed vs. TorqueSpeed = reactive, adrenaline-driven, unsustainable.Torque = force applied with intention, timing, and regulation.Duck feet under water vs. an eagle flying with deliberate power.“Torque is what happens when power listens before it moves.”3. The Three Fire HorsesFire Horse #1 – The ChargerLeaves the gate fast. Fueled by urgency, comparison, proving panic.Powerful, driven, impressive—but burns out early.Common in Enneagram 3s, 8s, 7s (and some 1s, 2s, 6s).Problem: no inventory, no regulation, no discernment.Fire Horse #2 – The StallerStays at the gate. Calls it “gathering intel” or “being strategic.”Fueled by fear of visibility, failure, commitment, or uncertainty.Common in 9s, 5s, 6s, 4s (and some 1s, 8s).Problem: fear polished up as wisdom.“Not moving isn’t discernment. It’s fear.”Fire Horse #3 – The Discerning Fire HorseRegulates first. Reads terrain. Builds capacity and stamina.Moves later—but with force.Deliberate, decisive, sustainable. This is the invitation for everyone in 2026.1.Vision Before VelocityMost people are executing someone else’s vision—or a trendy one.Or they’re chasing an outdated version of their own.If the vision isn’t vivid, speed is just noise.“You don’t move faster toward vision. You move truer to it.”2. Enneagram Pacing PatternsGut Types (8–9–1): Urgency, resistance, perfectionism.Heart Types (2–3–4): Validation, worth, emotional readiness.Head Types (5–6–7): Safety, certainty, escapism.Your pace is always protecting something.3. Discernment vs. FearIf you’re stalling: is it wisdom or fear?If you’re charging: is it alignment or proving? The check-in must be compassionate, kind, and curious—not shaming.Quotes That Landed:“The year of the horse doesn’t care about your declarations. It cares about your discernment.”“Speed is reactive. Torque is power applied on purpose.”“This won’t be the year you start the fastest. It’s the year you finish the strongest.”“If the vision isn’t vivid, all that speed is just noise.”“Your pace is always protecting something.”Try This This Week (Your EDGE Move):Identify which Fire Horse you’ve been riding: Charger, Staller, or Discerning.Take one daily inventory:Is this move coming from fear or alignment? From urgency or regulation? From validation or truth?Slow one thing down on purpose.Move one thing forward with torque (not adrenaline).Revisit your vision: Is it actually yours—or borrowed? This isn’t the year to outrun yourself. It’s the year to trust your timing and stop bullshitting yourself. EP442: Shedding Season: Necessary Endings and the Wisdom of the Snake
There’s a particular kind of exhaustion that doesn’t come from doing too much—it comes from holding on for too long. Not hustling. Not striving. Just gripping something you already know is complete. This episode closes out 2025 as “the year of the snake”: the season of shedding what once protected you, not because it failed, but because staying in it will suffocate your growth. Real leadership isn’t clinging harder—it’s having the courage to end what no longer belongs in your next chapter. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why some seasons don’t require building or healing—they require ending. The “snake shedding” metaphor: growth happens through release, not becoming more impressive. The 3 types of necessary endings: dead, dying, and good-but-not-great.Why we hold on too long (identity, grief, fear, loyalty-as-self-betrayal).Discernment questions to tell the truth about what’s complete. How to end things cleanly—with integrity, not drama. How to move into 2026 (the “year of the horse”) lighter, freer, and ready to run.Key Takeaways:You can’t “positive-think” your way out of an ending seasonWhen life asks you to build, there’s momentum. Heal = tenderness. End = pressure, friction, quiet discomfort. The orange tree lesson: “Drop the fruit when it’s too heavy”What you’re carrying may have been good… until it became dead weight.Necessary Endings (from the book)Growth doesn’t just require vision—it requires discernment. Not everything misaligned is meant to be healed—some things are meant to end cleanly. The 3 endings you must learn to recognizeDead things: emotionally/energetically over; you’re maintaining a corpse.Tracy’s example: an identity—strength = hardness, power = force, success = heavy and carried alone.“Dead things don’t come back to life because you care more. They end because they’re complete.”Dying things: still moving but require constant resuscitation—fixing, explaining, forcing optimism.Tracy’s example: trying to contort her voice into marketing systems that never fit her.“If it requires you to abandon yourself to sustain it, it’s already dying.”Good-but-not-great: the hardest ending—nothing is “wrong,” it still works, but it no longer fits.Tracy’s example: leaving a network marketing position that still generated six figures/year.“I didn’t leave because it failed. I left because my future wouldn’t fit inside it.”Why we hold on too longEndings require grief: who you were, what you thought it would look like, what felt safe.Staying doesn’t protect you from vulnerability—it trades it for slow erosion (or a blow-up).Discernment Questions (Journal Prompts):Is this giving me life… or just history?Am I staying out of alignment… or out of fear? What am I calling loyalty that might actually be self-abandonment?What becomes possible if I let this end?Am I making room for the next chapter—or hoarding the old one?Quotes That Landed:“The snake doesn’t evolve by becoming more impressive. It evolves by shedding.”“Not everything misaligned is meant to be healed. Some things are meant to be ended.”“Ending something good requires more courage than ending something broken.”“You don’t need certainty—you need integrity.”“You can’t run like the stallion you are if you’re dragging dead weight.”Try This This Week (Your EDGE Move):Identify ONE thing you’ve been white-knuckling that feels complete.Name which bucket it’s in: dead, dying, or good-but-not-great.Take one clean, integrity-based step toward ending it (without drama):Set the boundary.Stop resuscitating it.Make the decision you’ve been negotiating with.Let yourself grieve—don’t bypass it. Shedding feels naked before it feels powerful.2025 was the year of shedding. 2026 is the year of the horse—and you don’t get to run light if you refuse to release what’s heavy. If you need support ending what’s complete (cleanly, consciously, and without apology), book time with Tracy: 90-minute sessions or VIP 1:1 support . EP441: PIVOT! The Anatomy of the Holy FCK Moment + What to do When You are Inside of IT!
You made the brave call. You announced it. You felt the surge. And then—silence. Your soul said yes, but your nervous system is screaming abort. This episode is for the messy middle: the hour, day, or week after the pivot when the old life is gone and the new one isn’t formed yet. I break down what’s actually happening in your body and identity, why it feels like panic, and how to walk yourself through it without backtracking, numbing out, or abandoning what you know is right. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The anatomy of the “holy-f*ck moment” after a big decision (physiology first, mindset second).Nervous system crash vs. true red flags—how to tell the difference.Identity disorientation: why even aligned pivots shake your sense of self. The void (between what was and what will be) and how to stand it without spiraling. The EDGE framework to move through fear: Excavation, Discernment, Grace, Embodiment.Enneagram centers as a cross-check for decisions (head/heart/gut).Practical regulation tools that bring your power back online.Key Concepts & Takeaways:It’s not failure—it’s physiologyYour soul makes the pivot; your body pays the bill first. Shakiness, scattered thoughts, nausea = wiring bracing for the unknown, not a bad decision.Identity disorientation is normalYou left a role you mastered; ego hates unemployment. Panic ≠ misalignment.Loss of control & visibility fear“Do I look unhinged? What identity is dying? What’s being born?D – Discernment: Feelings aren’t facts. Is this danger or discomfort? Intuition or ego?G – Grace: Regulate, don’t coddle. Of course this feels big. New rhythm, not wrong move.E – Embodiment: Put power back in the body—walks, breath, sunlight, prayer, one courageous step.Cross-check with the three centersIf you’re a gut type (8/9/1), bring in heart or head. Heart types (2/3/4), ask: would I still want this if no one clapped? EP440: 13 Years Sober - 13 Life Lessons Sobriety Taught Me About Leadership, Legacy, & Owning Who the F*ck You Are
Thirteen years ago, I woke up at rock bottom. I thought sobriety meant losing my fun, my freedom, my edge—but what it really gave me was everything I’d been craving: authenticity, alignment, and freedom. In this episode, I share the story of that turning point, the lessons sobriety has taught me, and how they apply to every single one of us—whether your vice is alcohol, people-pleasing, work, or relationships. These 13 truths will sharpen your edge and give you the clarity, courage, and integrity to live fully alive. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The real story of my sober date and why it wasn’t my first attempt. How codependency is the sneakiest, most polished addiction of all.13 powerful lessons sobriety has taught me about leadership, love, and life. Why freedom—not control—is the sharpest edge you’ll ever carry. How these truths apply far beyond sobriety to anything that’s keeping you stuck.Key Takeaways (13 Lessons):Radical, compassionate honesty heals faster than any numbing ever will.Discomfort is a compass, not a curse. Growth happens in resistance. You don’t need numbing when you’re living in alignment.Discipline creates freedom, not restriction.Shame dies when it’s dragged into the light. Secrets keep you sick.Your edge comes from your scars, not your image.Self-leadership is the highest form of leadership.Numbing never fixes the pattern—it only swaps it out.Real connection requires real presence.Boundaries build bridges, not walls. The body keeps the score and the wisdom—learn to listen.Legacy isn’t what you build, it’s who you become.Freedom is the sharpest edge you’ll ever carry.Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“The thing I was most afraid to lose turned out to be the thing I gained the most: freedom.”“Shame dies the second it’s spoken into the light.”“Self-leadership is the highest form of leadership—if you can’t lead yourself, you can’t lead anyone else.”Try This This Week (Your EDGE Move):Take one place in your life where you’re hiding, numbing, or half-living—and drag it into the light. Get radically honest with yourself about what it’s costing you. Then choose one small, disciplined action today that builds your freedom muscle.

EP439: Is it a Fck Yes...Or Fear In Disguise. How to Discern the Difference Using The Enneagram
You’ve been circling a decision—you can feel it in your body. One moment you see yourself freer and bigger on the other side. The next, fear pulls the brake and whispers what if you blow up your life? You stall, wait for clarity, and call it timing, but deep down you’re not stuck because you don’t know the answer—you’re stuck because you don’t trust yourself to choose it. In this episode, Tracy breaks down how to tell the difference between fear in disguise and a true fuck yes—and gives you the five-step practice to move forward with clarity, courage, and compassion. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The difference between contracting fear and an expansive fuck yes.How each Enneagram center (instinct, heart, head) processes decisions. The one question each type must ask before leaping. Why fear can have a voice but not a vote.A five-step practice to check your motives and move forward aligned.Key Takeaways (by Center): Instinct Types (8, 9, 1)Hangup: Mistake reaction for clarity; resist discomfort.Edge: Ask if you’re grounded—or just avoiding vulnerability, peace disruption, or being wrong.Heart Types (2, 3, 4)Hangup: Say yes for applause or no to avoid rejection.Edge: Ask—if no one clapped, would I still want this?Head Types (5, 6, 7)Hangup: Overanalyze, overprepare, or chase shiny things for certainty.Edge: Ask—am I chasing safety/options, or trusting my true yes?Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“Fear can have a voice, but it does not get a vote.”“A fuck yes will feel alive—even in the presence of fear.”“Your fear doesn’t get the final word. Your clarity does. Your calling does.”Pause. Take inventory with compassion. Cross-check your yes or no through another center of intelligence. Then ask—if fear wasn’t driving, what would I choose? And finally—move. Action builds confidence. EP438: Marketing Hangups by Enneagram Type - Why You're Stuck (And How to Break Thru)
You believe in your work with every cell in your body—until it’s time to market it. Then you freeze, overthink, stall, water it down, or avoid it altogether…and beat yourself up later. You’re not broken, bad at business, or missing the magic strategy. Marketing feels so personal because it is personal—it brushes up against identity, worth, and your deepest fear of being misunderstood or dismissed. EP437: From Lone Wolf to Soul Fam - Using the Enneagram to Find True Belonging
You can be surrounded by people—friends, colleagues, even family—and still feel completely alone. If you’ve ever worn the “lone wolf” badge like a crown, only to realize one day it’s really a cage, this episode is for you. I know this story because I’ve lived it. For years, I prided myself on being self-sufficient, strong, unstoppable—and I was. But I was also starving for connection. In this episode, I break down the true cost of living as the lone wolf, how each Enneagram type isolates in their own way, and how you can finally trade that cage for the belonging you’ve been craving all along. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The myth of the lone wolf: why what looks like strength on the outside is often suffering on the inside. The hidden cost of self-reliance: how independence can slide into isolation that robs you of joy, connection, and purpose. How each Enneagram type “lone wolfs”—and the motives behind the walls we build.Practical steps to open the door to connection without swinging to extremes or losing yourself. Why vulnerability is strength, not weakness, and how practicing it builds the “soul fam” you were made for.Key Takeaways:The lone wolf isn’t strong—it’s scared. We all isolate in different ways: Eights build walls of steel, Fives retreat, Fours spiral in uniqueness, Threes power through goals, Ones micromanage, Sixes mistrust, Sevens avoid depth, Twos give without receiving, Nines withdraw to keep peace.Protection feels safe in the moment, but it eventually costs you the very thing you need most—connection and belonging.Practicing vulnerability—one text, one voice note, one brave share—is how you flex the muscle that brings the right people closer.Your Enneagram type is a roadmap to show you where you block belonging—and how to compassionately open the door again.Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“Strength without connection isn’t strength at all—it’s suffering.”“The lone wolf badge of honor is really a cage.”“You don’t find your soul family by accident—you find them by choosing to show up without the armor.”Call to Action:Get your Enneagram Blueprint → tracyomalley.comJoin me inside The Enneagram Edge Foundations Program—four weeks live with me where we’ll walk the roadmap of all nine types so you can stop lone wolfing, start belonging, and finally lead, love, and live with your full edge. https://tracyomalley.com/certification

EP436: How the Enneagram Can Give You a Million Dollar Business
You’ve chased the hacks, the funnels, the scripts, the formulas—and maybe they gave you a little traction. But not the kind of impact or income you know you’re capable of. Here’s the truth: strategy will only take you so far. Success doesn’t come from saying more, it comes from being heard. And people don’t hear you because you’re louder or smarter. They hear you when they feel seen, understood, and safe enough to trust you. That’s the real million-dollar edge—and it’s not in another hack, it’s in how you connect. In this episode, I’m showing you how the Enneagram unlocks the language of trust, influence, and impact—and how I used it to build a multi-million-dollar business from the ground up.What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why people aren’t buying your passion—they’re buying trust. How the Enneagram reveals the nine motivational currencies that drive decisions. How I went from rehab to my first million in 26 months—with no social network, no sales experience, and a tool I once rejected. The difference between attraction vs. promotion—and how the Enneagram helps you move from transactional sales to transformative conversations. The role of leverage, duplication, and retention in building not just income, but legacy.Four areas where the Enneagram makes you money: sales, leadership, conflict resolution, and scaling beyond yourself.Key Takeaways:Success isn’t about saying more, it’s about being heard. The Enneagram gives you the roadmap to speak in a way people can receive.People will buy, join, and commit when they feel seen, understood, and valued—not when you push.I built my first million-dollar business not by enrolling hundreds of people but by going deep with 82 people and leading them with integrity. In today’s “trust recession,” the ability to speak someone’s language is more valuable than any hack or formula. The Enneagram can transform your leadership by customizing motivation, resolving conflict, and creating duplication that scales.Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“You’re having one-night stands with your people. It’s time to date them.”“When people feel seen, they’re more willing to buy, join, or commit.”“Million-dollar businesses aren’t built on one big sale. They’re built on keeping people engaged.”Call to Action:Get your Enneagram Blueprint → tracyomalley.comJoin me inside The Enneagram Edge Foundations Program starting September 3. EP435: When Good Enough is Gutting You: And How the Enneagram Can Fill You Back Up
We’ve all been there—you’ve built a life that looks good on paper. The job works, the bills are paid, the people around you love you. If someone asked, you’d say you’re fine. But deep down, you know better. Fine is the counterfeit. It mimics peace, but it steals your fire. It’s just comfortable enough to keep you from risking what’s actually waiting for you. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on my own 18-month spiritual sabbatical and the moment I finally declared “I can’t do this anymore.” We’ll talk about the real cost of settling for “good enough,” the way the Enneagram reveals where you get trapped in it, and how to make room for the miracle that’s already on its way. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why “fine” is the counterfeit. Good enough mimics peace, but it steals your fire, your joy, and your clarity. The hidden cost of settling for fine: the mental, emotional, and physical toll of living in “I’m fine” mode. The power of declaration. How saying out loud “I can’t do this anymore” makes room for alignment and miracles. How the Enneagram reveals your personal trap with “good enough”—and how to use it as a roadmap out of settling. Why alignment doesn’t come from hustling harder—it comes from refusing to settle for counterfeit and making space for the real thing.Key Takeaways by Enneagram Type:Types 8, 3, and 1 (motion-driven): Your “good enough” looks like achievement—climbing ladders that don’t even matter anymore just to distract yourself from emptiness.Types 4, 6, and 9 (comfort-driven): Your “good enough” looks like safety—choosing predictable pain over uncertain possibility. It feels responsible, but it’s really fear dressed as loyalty.Types 2, 5, and 7 (distraction-driven): Your “good enough” looks like over-giving, over-researching, or over-indulging—filling the space so you never have to stop and face what’s gutting you.Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“Fine is not harmless. It’s a slow bleed.”“Gratitude is sacred. Settling isn’t.”“Your miracle is already waiting for you, but as long as you’re settling for fine, there’s no room for it to land.”Call to Action:Get your Enneagram Blueprint → tracyomalley.comJoin me inside The Enneagram Edge Foundations Program (starts Sept 3). EP434: The Edge of Forgiveness: How the Enneagram Unlocks What’s Holding You Back
Ever had someone hurt you so deeply it made you want to slam the door, burn the bridge, and never look back? I’ve been there — more than once. And for a long time, I thought strength meant holding the wall high and making damn sure they’d never get another shot. But a few years ago, a betrayal tested every ounce of “walk your talk” I claimed to live by.This episode isn’t about fluffy, kumbaya forgiveness. It’s about the kind that keeps you from bleeding out emotionally, professionally, and spiritually. It’s about forgiving yourself for the role you played, knowing the cost of holding onto anger, and choosing to protect without hardening your heart. We’re going deep into:Why forgiveness is a growth hack for leaders, high-achievers, and anyone who wants to live unshackled. The three sneaky traps high-level people fall into when they won’t forgive — and how they leak into your leadership, relationships, and influence. How each Enneagram type’s root fear blocks forgiveness (and the exact unlock for all 9 types). My personal stories — from a gut-punch betrayal three years ago to a recent moment with my partner — and how I moved from hurt to healing without bypassing the process. The 4-step framework: Feel. Heal. Grow. Move Through.Key Takeaways by Enneagram Type:Type 1 – The Reformer: Your forgiveness block is seeing hurt as a moral failure—either in yourself or others. The unlock? Embrace imperfection as human, not a character flaw.Type 2 – The Helper: Hurt triggers feelings of being unwanted or unworthy of love. The unlock? Recognize your worth isn’t tied to being needed, appreciated, or loved by someone else.Type 3 – The Achiever: Pain threatens your identity and public image. The unlock? Detach your worth from performance and perception.Type 4 – The Individualist: Pain can become part of your identity, making it hard to let go. The unlock? See that releasing hurt doesn’t erase your depth or magic.Type 5 – The Investigator: Betrayal shakes your trust in your ability to see things coming. The unlock? Accept that vulnerability is strength—not a liability.Type 6 – The Loyalist: Broken trust feels like your whole foundation is gone. The unlock? Anchor yourself in self-trust and resilience instead of chasing external certainty.Type 7 – The Enthusiast: You avoid hurt to dodge feeling trapped, which delays real release. The unlock? Face the pain now—true freedom comes from moving through it.Type 8 – The Challenger: Hurt feels like a threat to your autonomy and control. The unlock? Know that forgiveness is reclaiming your power, not surrendering it.Type 9 – The Peacemaker: You minimize hurt to keep the peace, but resentment simmers underneath. The unlock? True peace comes from addressing the hurt, not sweeping it under the rug.Quotes That Landed in My Bones:“Forgiveness doesn’t erase the past. It unhooks you from it.”“Forgiveness is not weakness. It’s one of the greatest growth-hacks you can flex.”“It doesn’t mean they get to stay in your life. But it does mean you get to be free.”Call to Action:Get your Enneagram Blueprint—you need the correct map to navigate forgiveness with precision: tracyomalley.comJoin the Enneagram Edge Foundations Program, launching live Sept 3—four weeks of group coaching where we turn forgiveness and wiring into practice, not theory. #WalkYourTalk

It’s about uncovering the parts of you shaped by pain, pressure, and survival—and reclaiming the version of you that existed before the world told you who to be.Unpopular Opinion #1: You Are Not Your NumberYour Enneagram type is your home base, not your identity. Many people cling to their type as armor, but true growth comes from integrating the framework and moving beyond survival strategies.Unpopular Opinion #2: Your Wings Aren’t Accessories—They’re LifelinesBoth wings of your Enneagram type are essential for balance and growth. Using only one wing is like trying to fly with one wing—you’ll crash, burn, or just keep circling.Unpopular Opinion #3: If You Don’t Know Your Subtype, You Don’t Know Your TypeSubtypes (self-preservation, social, one-on-one) are critical to understanding yourself and others. Without this layer, you’re only seeing half the picture.Unpopular Opinion #4: Knowing Your Type Won’t Change Your Life—Living It WillTransformation happens when you integrate the Enneagram into your life from the neck down, not just the neck up. It’s about embodiment, not just information.Unpopular Opinion #5: Online Assessments Type Your Mask, Not Your MotiveMost assessments measure behaviors, not the core motives driving them. This is why many people mistype themselves and miss out on the real power of the Enneagram.Tracy shares how these truths have shaped her own journey and the lives of her clients. From corporate teams to personal relationships, understanding the deeper layers of the Enneagram can transform how you lead, love, and live.Key Quotes:“The Enneagram wasn’t created to slap a label on your personality. EP426: How to take the EDGE off Without Losing Your F*cking Edge
We all have those little rituals, habits, or quick fixes we reach for when life feels overwhelming—a glass of wine, a hit of sugar, a scroll through social media. They seem harmless, even helpful, right? But here’s the truth: what helps you take the edge off can also take you off your edge. In this episode, I’m getting real about the sneaky ways we dull our instincts, intuition, and power—and how to reclaim the sharpness that makes you, YOU.This isn’t about shame or cutting everything out of your life. It’s about radical self-honesty, compassionate inventory, and asking yourself the hard questions: Is this grounding me, or is it numbing me?What You’ll Learn in This Episode:How the things you use to “take the edge off” might actually be dulling your edge. Why even the most intentional rituals can become traps when you start depending on them. The difference between soothing yourself and silencing yourself. How to identify what you’re really reaching for when you feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or underappreciated. How the Enneagram can help you uncover the root motivations behind your habits and patterns.Key Takeaways:Edge Erosion is Sneaky: You don’t lose your edge all at once—it leaks away, one sip, one scroll, one snack at a time. Tiny moments of permission can quietly say, “I can’t handle this on my own.”Radical Self-Honesty is Key: This isn’t about judgment—it’s about asking yourself, “What am I really reaching for? What am I trying not to feel?”Your Edge is a Signal, Not a Problem: The discomfort you’re trying to soften might actually be a sign that you’re out of alignment—not broken, just misdirected. The Enneagram as a Compass: Your Enneagram type doesn’t just reveal your behaviors—it shows you the motivations behind them. It’s a tool to help you take inventory without shame and get to the root of your patterns.Practical Tools from This Episode:Pause and Reflect: Ask yourself, “What do I reach for when I feel overstimulated, overwhelmed, or uncertain? Is this soothing me, or silencing me?”Take an Inventory: Look at your habits and rituals with compassion. Are they helping you for the long game, or are they quietly robbing you of your clarity and power?Use the Enneagram as a Mirror: Your type can help you trace the “why” behind every reach, every spiral, and every escape hatch. It’s not about labeling yourself—it’s about understanding yourself. You were built with edge on purpose. It’s not something to dull down or manage—it’s something to honor, sharpen, and trust. EP425: Resistance in Disguise You Justify It. The Enneagram Exposes It.
In this fiery and no-nonsense episode of The Enneagram Edge, Tracy O’Malley calls out the sneaky ways resistance shows up in our lives, shapeshifting into something we trust—intuition, strategy, even our Enneagram type. But here’s the truth: resistance hijacks your survival patterns, flatters your strengths, and keeps you stuck in a loop of productivity, perfection, and fear. This episode is about naming resistance, cutting through the bullshit, and reclaiming your edge by using the Enneagram as a weapon for transformation, not an excuse for stagnation. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:How resistance cloaks itself in your Enneagram type’s survival patterns and sabotages your growth. Why resistance isn’t always fear or procrastination—it can look like over-functioning, perfectionism, or even kindness. The difference between resistance that grows you and resistance that keeps you stuck.A breakdown of how resistance shows up for each Enneagram type—and actionable steps to overcome it.Why compassion, curiosity, and consistency are the keys to breaking free from resistance.Key Takeaways:Resistance Wears Many Masks: It flatters your strengths, feeds off your virtues, and keeps you busy, admired, and stuck. Recognizing it is the first step to reclaiming your power. The Enneagram is Not an Excuse: It’s a weapon for transformation. Stop using your type to justify your patterns and start using it to break free.Compassion is Non-Negotiable: Beating yourself up won’t help. Meet resistance with curiosity and kindness to turn it into a tool for growth. How Resistance Shows Up for Each Enneagram Type:Type 1 (The Virtuous Overachiever): Resistance looks like endless tweaking and polishing. Action step: Move anyway. Let it be imperfect.Type 2 (The Helpful Hustler): Resistance shows up as putting everyone else first. Action step: Prioritize yourself unapologetically—now, not later.Type 3 (The Strategic Chameleon): Resistance hides in optimization and performance. Action step: Choose what’s true, even if it doesn’t impress.Type 4 (The Depth Dweller): Resistance convinces you to wait for inspiration. Action step: Create anyway. Your truth is bigger than your pain.Type 5 (The Knowledge Collector): Resistance keeps you hoarding information. Action step: Speak, share, and trust your voice.Type 6 (The Devoted Doubter): Resistance demands guarantees. Action step: Leap without certainty. Leadership is courage, not preparation.Type 7 (The Optimistic Escapist): Resistance pivots you away from discomfort. Action step: Stay. Freedom is found in follow-through.Type 8 (The Armored Commander): Resistance tells you to push harder and armor up. Action step: Soften, surrender, and let support in.Type 9 (The Peaceful Producer): Resistance numbs your edge with comfort and distraction. Action step: Speak up, show up, and lead.Reflection Questions for Listeners:Where are you calling resistance wisdom?Where are you confusing sabotage with service? What are you afraid will happen if you actually move?Resources Mentioned:Do the Work by Steven Pressfield (a must-read for understanding resistance)Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint: Get your accurate type and fast-track your transformation at TracyO'Malley.com.Connect with Tracy:Instagram: @tracy_omalleyWebsite: TracyO'Malley.comFinal Thoughts: Resistance is loudest right before your breakthrough. As leaders, parents, and visionaries, we often push through fatigue, ignore the red flags, and treat our bodies like afterthoughts. EP423: The CEO of You: Running Your Inner Boardroom with the Enneagram
You’re making high-level decisions every day—hiring, scaling, leading, launching. From the outside, it looks like you’ve got it all under control. But here’s the truth: if you haven’t examined who’s running the show inside of you, you’re not leading—you’re reacting. In this episode, we’re diving into what it means to truly be the CEO of your life, your business, and your legacy by understanding the internal boardroom that’s quietly influencing every move you make. This isn’t about managing people better—it’s about managing your own power better. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why most leaders are still being run by the version of themselves that had to survive, not the one born to lead. How your Enneagram type, Tri-Type, and Instinctual Drive are influencing your decisions—and how to stop defaulting to fear-based patterns. The key players in your internal boardroom: your core Enneagram type (the CEO), your wings (the advisors), your Tri-Type (the strategist, connector, and executor), and your instinctual subtype (the CFO of your energy). How to identify which part of you is speaking when you’re triggered—and whether it’s coming from strategy or protection. Why integrated leadership isn’t soft—it’s surgical.Key Takeaways:Your Core Enneagram Type is the CEO: This is where your core motives and fears live. It’s your home base, but it shouldn’t be running the show solo.Your Wings are Your Advisors: Both wings bring unique strengths to the table. Leaning on just one will have you circling or crashing—use both for balance and range.Your Tri-Type is Your Strategy Team: This is next-level Enneagram work. Your Tri-Type reveals how you think, feel, and act under pressure, giving you a nuanced strategy for leadership and decision-making.Your Instinctual Subtype is the CFO of Your Energy: Whether you’re self-preservation, one-on-one (sexual), or social, your instinct determines what gets prioritized under pressure. Understanding this is key to managing your energy effectively.Integration Over Reaction: When you’re triggered, your default patterns grab the mic. Integrated leadership means consulting all parts of yourself—your core type, wings, Tri-Type, and instincts—before making decisions.Practical Tools from This Episode:Ask Yourself: What part of me is speaking right now? Is this voice strategic or protective?Consult All Three Centers of Intelligence: Your Tri-Type reveals how you dominate in the gut (instinctual), heart (feeling), and head (thinking) centers. Use this to balance your approach.Watch for Instinctual Hijacks: Your dominant instinct (self-preservation, one-on-one, or social) can either be your superpower or your blind spot. Learn to recognize when it’s running the show.Know Your Growth Path: Your Enneagram type’s growth number shows you what integration looks like. Use it as a guide to lead yourself with clarity and confidence. You can have the best business model, the most talented team, and all the external success in the world, but if your internal boardroom is run by chaos, ego, and reactivity, eventually the whole thing cracks. True leadership starts with leading yourself—and the Enneagram is the ultimate power tool for doing just that.Call to Action:Get Your Enneagram Blueprint: Go to TracyOmalley.com and grab your customized Enneagram Blueprint. EP422: You aren't STUCK. How to get your EDGE back using the Enneagram
You didn’t wake up one day and decide to play small, but somewhere along the way, you started shrinking—shrinking your truth, your voice, your edge. In this episode, I’m diving into what it really means to reclaim your edge, why you feel stuck, and how the Enneagram is the ultimate roadmap to break free from the patterns that are quietly keeping you stuck. This isn’t about surface-level fixes or cute personality labels. This is about integration, transformation, and calling your power back home. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why you’re not stuck because you’re weak—you’re stuck because you’re over-identifying with the protective patterns that once kept you safe. How the Enneagram reveals your default wiring, blind spots, and potential so you can stop looping in survival mode. The difference between exertion (stress) and expansion—and how to shift into the version of you that doesn’t need protection to feel powerful. Why your edge isn’t gone—it’s just buried under layers of protection, fear, and fatigue. How to use the Enneagram as a compass to reclaim your edge and lead yourself with clarity, confidence, and compassion.Key Takeaways:Your Edge Isn’t Lost, It’s Buried: The habits, stories, and protective mechanisms you built to survive are now keeping you stuck. The Enneagram helps you identify these patterns and dismantle the cages you’ve built around yourself.Superpower vs. Kryptonite: Every Enneagram type has a superpower, but it only works when it comes from love, compassion, and grace—not fear, insecurity, or ego. Understanding this is the key to stepping into your true power.Exertion vs. Expansion: Exertion is the path your type takes under pressure—it’s not bad, but it’s a warning light. Expansion, on the other hand, is the version of you that doesn’t need protection to feel powerful. The Enneagram shows you how to shift from exertion to expansion.Radical and Compassionate Honesty: To reclaim your edge, you have to be brutally honest with yourself about where you’re stuck—but without beating yourself up. Shame and judgment will only keep you looping in the same patterns.Integration Over Information: Knowing your Enneagram type is cute, but embodying your highest expression is where the transformation happens. EP421: How to Get an EDGE Up On Your Parenting With The Tool of the Enneagram
Parenting is one of the most humbling, triggering, and rewarding experiences we’ll ever face—and it’s also where our own wiring, patterns, and blind spots show up the most. In this episode, I dive deep into how the Enneagram can transform not just your parenting, but your entire family dynamic. Whether you’re a parent, want to be one, or influence young lives in any way, this conversation will hit home. It’s not about being a perfect parent—it’s about being an honest, integrated one who empowers their children to be exactly who they were designed to be.What You’ll Learn in This Episode:Why parenting from your own wiring (instead of theirs) can feel like love to you but land as pressure, control, or disconnection to your kids. How the Enneagram provides a map to move from good intentions to impact that actually lands. My personal journey of breaking generational patterns, learning my kids’ Enneagram types, and transforming our family dynamic. The importance of understanding how your kids receive you—and how to take radical responsibility for your “come from.”Why it’s never too late to repair, redeem, and rewrite your parenting story.Key Takeaways:Parenting Through Their Lens: Your kids don’t need you to mold them into mini versions of you—they need you to meet them where they are. The Enneagram helps you understand their unique wiring, motivations, and fears so you can lead, guide, and nurture them in a way that truly resonates.Your Superpower vs. Your Kryptonite: Every Enneagram type has a superpower, but it only works when it comes from love, compassion, and grace—not fear, insecurity, or ego. For me, my intensity as an Enneagram 8 is both my greatest strength and my biggest challenge. The Power of Humility: The most powerful shift in my parenting came when I stopped pretending I had it all figured out and started showing my kids my humanity. Vulnerability builds trust, credibility, and connection. It’s Never Too Late: Whether your kids are toddlers, teens, or adults, repair and redemption are always possible. The Enneagram gives you the tools to start those conversations and rebuild trust.Parenting is a Mirror: Your kids are here to teach you as much as you’re here to guide them. The ones who trigger you the most often hold the biggest lessons.I share how I first encountered the Enneagram in rehab 13 years ago and how it became the tool that saved my family. I was parenting from my own lens—strong, tactical, and focused—but my kids, an Enneagram 2 empath and an Enneagram 7 dreamer, needed something completely different. Learning their wiring and adjusting my approach changed the culture in our home overnight. Today, my relationship with my kids is my greatest achievement, and it’s built on the foundation of seeing, hearing, and valuing them for who they truly are. What to Expect Moving Forward:How to use the Enneagram to understand your kids’ operating systems and speak their language. Why understanding your own wiring is the first step to becoming a more present, empowered parent.Practical tools for integrating the Enneagram into your parenting to create a legacy of connection, trust, and growth.Call to Action:Subscribe: Don’t miss an episode of The Enneagram Edge.Leave a Review: Your feedback helps this mission reach more parents who need it.Share: Send this episode to a parent, teacher, or mentor who could use an edge in their relationships with the kids in their life.Parenting isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, humility, and a willingness to grow. EP419: From Armor to Alignment - The Legend's Journey to True Power
Alright, Legends—this one is raw, real, and straight from the trenches. I’m fresh off wrist reconstruction surgery, and let me tell you, this experience has been a masterclass in surrender, trust, and finding harmony between masculine and feminine energy. If you’ve ever struggled with letting go of control, receiving support, or balancing the “do” with the “be,” this episode is for you. We’re diving deep into the energetic significance of the right and left sides of the body, how masculine and feminine energy show up in our lives, and what happens when they’re out of harmony. I’m sharing personal stories—from my childhood to my current recovery—that highlight how my dominant masculine energy has both served me and wrecked me. And most importantly, I’m unpacking how leaning into my feminine energy is transforming not just my body, but my relationships, leadership, and life. This episode is about more than just my journey—it’s about yours. Where are you holding on too tightly? Where are you resisting surrender? And how can you start to trust, allow, and receive in a way that elevates every area of your life? Let’s get into it.What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The energetic significance of the right (masculine) and left (feminine) sides of the body—and what your pain might be telling you.How dominant masculine energy can become armor that keeps out both the bad and the good. Why surrendering to feminine energy is the key to true power, creativity, and connection.Personal stories of how my Enneagram 8 wiring and childhood conditioning shaped my relationship with control and independence.Practical steps to start balancing your masculine and feminine energy for a more harmonious, impactful life.Key Takeaways:The Body Never Lies: Physical pain often mirrors emotional and energetic imbalances. My right wrist (masculine energy) breakdown was a wake-up call to address my relationship with control, action, and trust.Masculine vs. Feminine Energy: Masculine energy is about action, control, and willpower. Feminine energy is about intuition, surrender, and flow. Both are essential, but harmony is key.Surrender is Strength: True power lies in flexibility, not force. Strength is found in letting go, not just holding on.Armor Keeps Out the Good: The walls we build to protect ourselves also block connection, intimacy, and growth and the magic that happens when we allow ourselves to receive.Practical Tools for Balancing Masculine and Feminine Energy:Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to where you’re feeling pain or tension. Is it on your right (masculine) or left (feminine) side? What might that be telling you about your energy balance?Practice Surrender: Start small—let someone help you with something you’d normally do yourself. Notice how it feels to receive without guilt or resistance.Create Space for Stillness: Stillness isn’t weakness. It’s where intuition, creativity, and healing live. Carve out time to just be.Use the Enneagram as a Guide: Your Enneagram type can reveal your natural tendencies toward masculine or feminine energy and help you identify where you might need to lean into the other.Quote of the Episode:"True power lies in flexibility, not force. Strength is found in letting go, not just holding on."Call to Action:If this episode resonated with you, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with someone who needs to hear this message. EP418: Not Everyone Deserves Your Vulnerability - How Legends Lead with Precision
Welcome back, Legends! In this episode, we’re diving into one of the most misunderstood yet CRUCIAL aspects of becoming a legend: the difference between transparency and vulnerability. Let’s be real—this isn’t just about sharing your story or being “open.” This is about understanding how to navigate the messy, raw, and real parts of life with discernment and courage.I get it—vulnerability is scary as hell. And trust me, I’m living it in real time. From physical challenges (hello, wrist replacement surgery) to navigating the complexities of a blended family, financial curveballs, and spiritual tests, I’m in the trenches right now. But here’s the thing: legends don’t just rise—they rise with purpose, clarity, and connection. And that requires mastering the art of vulnerability. This episode is packed with personal stories, actionable insights, and practical tools to help you discern when, where, and with whom to share your heart. Because misplaced vulnerability? It can cost you years, relationships, and peace of mind. But when done right, it’s the gateway to connection, growth, and the legendary life you’re meant to lead. What You’ll Learn in This Episode:The critical difference between transparency and vulnerability—and why both matter. How to discern who deserves your vulnerability (and who doesn’t).Why misplaced vulnerability can lead to betrayal, burnout, and emotional walls. How the Enneagram can help you navigate your blind spots and build stronger connections.Practical tools for building your “vulnerability muscle” and creating a support system that lifts you higher.Key Takeaways:Transparency vs. Vulnerability: Transparency is sharing your story after the fact—it’s safe, polished, and builds credibility. Vulnerability, on the other hand, is raw, real, and happening in the moment. It’s messy, risky, and the birthplace of true connection.Discernment is Everything: Not everyone deserves your vulnerability. Take inventory of your inner circle—who can hold space for you without judgment? Who has the capacity to support you even when they’re in their own struggles? The Enneagram as a Roadmap: Your Enneagram type and tri-type can reveal your blind spots around vulnerability and help you navigate relationships with precision. It’s not just a personality test—it’s a tool for transformation.Build Your Vulnerability Muscle: Start small, with trusted people, and gradually expand. Vulnerability is a practice, not a one-time event.Practical Tools for Mastering Vulnerability:Create a Vulnerability Map: List the people in your life and categorize them—who gets transparency, who gets vulnerability, and who gets nothing.Test the Foundation: Observe how people respond to your transparency before diving into vulnerability. Trust is built over time.Leverage the Enneagram: Use your custom blueprint to understand your motivations, fears, and blind spots. Get yours at TracyO'Malley.com.Practice in Safe Spaces: Start with one or two trusted individuals and build from there. Vulnerability is a muscle—you’ve got to work it to strengthen it.Quote of the Episode:"Legends don’t just rise—they rise with purpose, clarity, and courage. And the biggest part of courage? Letting people support you and offer wise counsel."If this episode hit home for you, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with someone who’s ready to step into their legendary self. EP416: The ELITE don't wait in line. It's not what you may think...
In this episode, I dive deep into the concept of "The Elite Don't Wait in Line," a principle that applies both personally and professionally. Reflecting on my own experiences, including a six-month spiritual sabbatical, I discuss the importance of making space for the bigger, better things in life. Whether it's relationships, business opportunities, or personal growth, holding onto what isn't serving you can block the elite opportunities meant for you.I share anecdotes about friends and clients who struggled with letting go of subpar relationships and business ventures, emphasizing that the best things won't wait around while you're preoccupied with the mediocre. I also touch on my own journey, including a dating sabbatical and the painful but necessary process of friendship divorces, to illustrate how making room for the elite can lead to incredible transformations. In business, I talk about scaling back on certain commitments to be available for more aligned opportunities. I highlight the importance of building spiritual, emotional, and physical muscles to handle the discomfort of waiting for the right opportunities to manifest.I also introduce the new direction for the podcast, "The Legends Journey," where I'll share insights on becoming a legend in your own right, interview people I consider legends, and explore the lives of legendary figures through the lens of the Enneagram and other tools.I encourage listeners to take action, seek support if needed, and be ready for the elite opportunities that are waiting to enter their lives. If you're ready to become the legend you were meant to be, consider working with me for six months of deep, transformative coaching. Let's make room for the elite to show up in your life.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]

EP415: The Spiritual Sabbatical Glow-Up
Hello, everyone. It's been a long time since I last recorded an episode, and today, I want to have a real conversation with you. Over the past four and a half years, I've released over 400 episodes, and I deeply appreciate your support and concern about the podcast's status.I've been on a spiritual sabbatical for the past year, which has been a transformative experience. My word for the year was "Emerge," and while I initially intended to come out strong, life had other plans. This sabbatical has taught me a lot about what it means to truly emerge, and I've learned to embrace a softer, more powerful version of myself. As an Enneagram 8, I'm used to being assertive and strong, but this period has shown me the strength in vulnerability. I've been doing incredible work with teams, organizations, and individuals, and I've also been focusing on my personal life, which has seen significant changes.During this time, I've observed the online entrepreneurial and coaching space, and I've seen a lot of manipulative marketing. I want to offer something different—real, impactful work that truly benefits you. Moving forward, this podcast will focus on what it means to be legendary. We'll discuss the Enneagram, interview legends, and explore what makes them extraordinary.I've been preparing for this new phase, including a rebranding effort that aligns with my true self. While I don't have a specific timeline for the new branding, I want to honor the journey that has brought me here.Thank you for your patience and support. I'm excited and a bit nervous to share this new chapter with you. If you have any topics you'd like me to cover, feel free to reach out. Let's embark on this journey together and do the damn thing. EP413: You are on the right track baby, you were born this way. Being Legendary - in all your divine ways
In this solo episode of Lead with the Enneagram I dive into the significance of birthdays and self-celebration, particularly how my own upbringing shaped my reluctance to embrace such personal milestones.I recount the stories of my birth and the mixed messages I received, which led to a lifelong journey of striving for perfection and approval, especially from my father. These narratives, while humorous in retrospect, left a profound impact on my self-perception and the way I viewed my own worth.Despite the challenges, I've come to recognize the importance of celebrating oneself and the journey we've all undertaken. I discuss the power of the Enneagram as a tool for personal growth and self-discovery, likening it to a navigation system that has helped me map out my life and guide others in their journeys. As I reflect on my life's path, I emphasize the value of understanding our biology and biography, recognizing patterns, and embracing every part of our journey. I encourage listeners to be honest, open, and willing as they step into their roles as legendary leaders.I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my insights and experiences through the podcast and for the impact it has on listeners. As I celebrate another year of life, I reaffirm my commitment to helping others become the legendary leaders they were born to be.Thank you for joining me on this special day and for allowing me to be a part of your journey toward embracing your true self.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]

EP410: Unleashing compassion and service, while honoring strong boundaries with Tonya Raybon (Social Enneagram 2)
Our special guest, Tonya Raybon, joins us to discuss her experience with the Enneagram. Tonya has worked extensively with me, participating in retreats, one-on-one sessions, and couple's workshops. She shares her insights as a social Enneagram Type 2, also known as "The Helper," and we explore the nuances of her tri-type, 2-6-8, which is referred to as "The Rescuer."Throughout the episode, we tackle the challenges of setting boundaries, especially for Enneagram Type 2s who are naturally inclined to say "yes" and accommodate others. We emphasize the importance of pausing before committing to tasks and asking oneself if the action would still be a "yes" even without external appreciation or reciprocation.Tonya and I also discuss strategies for understanding and interacting with loved ones through the lens of the Enneagram. We highlight the significance of the three centers of intelligence (instinctual, feeling, and thinking) and how recognizing these can improve communication and relationships within families, including with children and grandchildren. Finally, we touch on Tonya's podcast, "Perfectly Blended," which focuses on the complexities of blended family life and the continuous blending of roles that women often navigate.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]

EP409: How to embrace conflict when everything inside you wants harmony and freedom with Julie A (SX Enneagram 9)
In this special hotline episode of Lead with the Enneagram, we had the pleasure of speaking with Julie A, a one-on-one Enneagram 9 with a 935 tri-type, also known as the thinker. Julie shared her journey of self-discovery through the Enneagram and how it has impacted her both personally and professionally as a leadership and career coach at a high-level university in Chicago. We delved into the nuances of being an Enneagram 9, discussing the core emotion of anger and how it often manifests in passive-aggressive behaviors like avoidance and procrastination. Julie opened up about her challenges with confronting anger and conflict, and we explored strategies for nines to develop a healthier relationship with these emotions.Julie also touched on her experience of grief and how it has led to feelings of sloth, a common struggle for Enneagram 9s when they are disintegrating. We discussed the importance of contrary action and how leveraging the strengths of her one and eight wings can help her navigate through tough times without getting stuck.A significant revelation for Julie was understanding that her core motivator is freedom, not safety, which she had previously believed. This insight has prompted her to reflect on her career choices and how they align with her need for independence, autonomy, and control.Lastly, we unpacked Julie's tri-type, the thinker (935), which combines the ambition of a three, the knowledge-seeking nature of a five, and the peacemaking qualities of a nine. This tri-type explains Julie's intellectual approach and her ability to manage situations and relationships effectively.Throughout the episode, we emphasized the importance of self-awareness and the use of the Enneagram as a tool for personal growth. By understanding our core fears and motives, and by building the muscles of our supporting cast – our wings and growth/stress numbers – we can navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience. For those looking to understand and support an Enneagram 9 in their life, remember to gently probe beyond their initial "I'm fine" response to truly understand their feelings. EP408: Doing the next BRAVE thing - That is the real flex.
In this latest episode of "Lead with the Enneagram," I discuss the common trap of accumulating knowledge, attending events, and seeking more strategies without making real progress. I emphasize that while these activities are valuable, they may not always lead to the growth we seek. I challenge listeners to consider what the "next brave thing" is for them, which can be a deeply personal and vulnerable step.Using the Enneagram as a tool, I encourage you to identify your fears and take action that aligns with your type's unique path to growth. I confess my own struggles with vulnerability and share a personal commitment to send an email I've been avoiding, demonstrating the importance of integrity and leading by example.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]

EP407: When self-awareness isn't enough - How to take the action that moves the damn needle
In this latest episode of Lead with the Enneagram, I open up about a recent self-awareness realization I had during a mastermind event involving a racetrack challenge. Despite my confidence and expertise in self-awareness, I noticed a pattern of self-sabotage when the focus was solely on me, rather than on a team or others. This led to a vulnerable moment where I recognized the importance of not just being self-aware but also taking compassionate, effective action to create real change.I emphasize that self-awareness is only a piece of the puzzle and that understanding your Enneagram type is not enough. EP403: Revealing the Business Soul: Authenticity, Service, and Success with Jason Lew
This week, we took a deep dive into the heart of entrepreneurship and the importance of playing the long game. I had the pleasure of chatting with my dear friend and business consultant coach, Jason Lew, who brought a wealth of knowledge and integrity to our candid conversation. We tackled the often grueling reality of showing up on social media and the pressure to constantly feed the content monster. Jason and I discussed the temptation to chase quick wins and how it can lead us to forget that entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint. We explored the significance of staying true to ourselves and our values to create lasting transformation and the life we desire. In a world obsessed with the Enneagram, I also shared my initial skepticism about this tool and how, over a decade later, it has profoundly impacted my life and work. From personal growth to building bulletproof leadership and sales teams, the Enneagram has been a game-changer. And while we didn't focus on the Enneagram much in this episode, the underlying principles of authenticity and self-awareness were ever-present.Jason's insights into building a sustainable business without being a slave to social media algorithms were eye-opening. He emphasized the importance of nurturing relationships with potential clients over time and creating a business that aligns with who we are at our core.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]

EP401: Beyond the Armor: Discovering Feminine Energy and Vulnerability as an Enneagram 8 with Talia A (SO Enneagram 8)
In this episode, I take you on a journey through the complexities and transformative power of the Enneagram, especially focusing on Type 8's path to vulnerability and strength. Today's episode is particularly special as we delve into the "hotline" segment where listeners, who've been accurately typed by me, get to ask deeper questions about their Enneagram journey. Our guest, Talia, a vibrant Enneagram 8 like myself, shares her experiences from participating in one of my immersive retreats. Despite her initial skepticism about her type, Talia's story is a testament to the power of the Enneagram in uncovering our true selves. We explore the challenges eights face in relationships, particularly the struggle with vulnerability and the tendency to test our partners. Talia and I discuss the importance of letting go of control and allowing ourselves to be supported, a lesson that's crucial for eights who crave intimacy yet fear betrayal.Diving into the "five cave" phenomenon, we talk about the Enneagram 8's stress response and how it can lead to isolation and a false sense of security. I share insights on how to navigate this space with compassion and use it as an opportunity for growth rather than a place to hide.Lastly, we touch on the balance between masculine and feminine energies, emphasizing the strength that comes from embracing both. Talia's upcoming children's book, which encourages boys to express their emotions, beautifully illustrates this balance and the importance of emotional literacy for all genders. If you're an Enneagram 8, love one, or simply want to understand the dance between vulnerability and strength, this episode is a must-listen. EP399: Investing in People: The Enneagram's Role and Gift in your Teams and Organizations
In this episode of Lead with the Enneagram, we dive into the transformative power of the Enneagram in team building, both in professional and personal spheres. As your host, Tracy, I share my journey from being an Enneagram skeptic to a passionate advocate, using it to foster bulletproof leadership and sales teams, and to facilitate workshops for Fortune 100 executives. We discuss the critical importance of team culture and the necessity of investing in your teams, especially in today's climate of budget constraints and remote working. I emphasize that culture isn't just a part of the team dynamic; it is the team dynamic. The Enneagram serves as a shared language and framework that can lead to authentic engagement, job satisfaction, increased productivity, and retention.Throughout the episode, I highlight common pitfalls in team building, such as a one-size-fits-all approach, and how the Enneagram can help tailor strategies to individual team members' needs. By understanding each person's core desires, fears, and motivators, leaders can create a work environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.I also touch on the importance of leaders setting the example and fostering a culture of understanding, respect, and personal growth. Using the Enneagram, leaders can better manage their teams, communicate effectively, and provide development opportunities that align with each team member's growth path. For those interested in integrating the Enneagram into their teams, I offer workshops and consulting services to help customize the approach to your specific needs. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or part of a corporate team, the Enneagram can be a game-changer in creating a harmonious and productive work environment.Connect with Tracy:Tracy’s Website http://tracyomalley.com/ Tracy on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tracy_omalley/ Tracy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tracy.omalley Tracy on Twitter https://twitter.com/TracyOMall Tracy on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources:Attend Tracy’s Enneagram Group Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workshop Access Tracy’s Enneagram Blueprint https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeUsing Your Stress Number to Eliminate Shame & Self-Sabotage on Lead with the Enneagram EP356 https://open.spotify.com/episode/111YMhtJjtw4sgBsN4fHs7 Book a Power Session with Tracy http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Learn More About Tracy’s Enneagram Team Dynamics Workshop https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithme Book a Partner Session with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeApply for 1:1 Coaching with Tracy https://www.tracyomalley.com/workwithmeEmail [email protected]
