The Experiment

This is a song that I've written several different sets of lyrics to. The ones I landed on were pretty personal and I don't have a great voice, so just enjoy the music.

It was raining outside. I decided to record it. This is super raw and unedited. I wanted to keep going after I recorded the first time, so I played over it again.

This is my first recording in my new home. I need to get more drum mics to make it sound good, but playing real drums with real guitar pumps me up! Enjoy

This is some of my band's new stuff. This is an intro we started working on a few weeks ago. Hope you like it.

Here is a more developed version of this song. The drums and bass are pretty rough, but it's a work in progress. It starts out kinda sad, but livens up because its okay that I can't have it. It's probably for a good reason.

Rough cut of an idea. I recorded this at 1am trying to get some feelings out. It turned out a lot sadder than I though. When I redo the piano and add bass it should liven up a bit I hope.

I've been working on this song for years. This is the song I play when I pick up a random guitar in a guitar store to test it out. Just the beginning of it so far...

Here is round two of this sound. It's starting to get there. The drums need a bit of work, but they're not to bad for tapping them out on my keyboard. Ending has quite a few mistakes, but it's still a work in progress.

One of my newer favorites that I've started. It needs some more work.

Here is a jazzier one I started a long time ago. I was really wanting to play some jazz drums, but can't because I still live in an apartment. Still pretty rough.

This is about some I found that was there all along. The solo needs some work. Probably one of my better works that I've started.
