YOUR Georgetown Hoyas announce their first portal addition, PG Jaland Lowe. Lowe spent two seasons at Pitt before transferring last year to Kentucky, where he was slotted in to be THE guy, before a shoulder injury limited him to only 9 games. We talk about the player Georgetown is getting in Lowe, his fit on the current roster, and what this means for roster construction. Welcome Jaland! It's a great day to be a Hoya and live forever!

YOUR Georgetown Hoyas extended their winning streak to four games over Creighton, and the two-man game is back on the Finger WAG pod. Jake and Gideon break down the wire-to-wire (mostly) win over Creighton and get you ready for the big weekend rematch against Villanova with a chance to make it five straight.

YOUR Georgetown Hoyas have won three straight, and Jake has you covered with a solo pod after a dominant 13-point win at Butler. 

YOUR Georgetown Hoyas come back from 21 in the second to beat Providence in Providence. It's Georgetown's largest comeback win in history, and sure feels like it could be a turning point (let's hope) for a team and program that has struggled (to say the least). An emotional win deserves an emotional pod! We walk through the final 13 or so minutes and highlight the 5 plays of the game, and one play of the year, that led to the Hoyas biggest win to date under Ed Cooley.

In this episode of the Finger WAG podcast, Gideon Hertz and Jake Foote dive deep into Georgetown's recent close loss against UConn. We discuss the late-game execution and where things have fallen short. We also talk through what we're looking for the rest of the season despite Georgetown's struggles. And yes, we talk about THAT press conference and the latest Cooley quote going around.

YOUR Georgetown Hoyas looked ready to secure a monster road win against Creighton, until they weren't. Despite a good road effort, Georgetown comes up short in the key moments and squanders a late 7-point lead before losing in OT. We're back with a post-game pod, breaking down the critical 9-minute stretch where Georgetown went from up 7 to, ultimately, down 3. And yes, we are definitely going to talk about the final bucket (or not) of regulation, along with the execution and decisions that led to the Hoyas coming up just short. 

After a brutal loss to Seton Hall, frustration and disappointment are at an all-time high, and the team and program are at a low point. It felt like an important moment to talk through some of the frustration, what Cooley said post-game, and what seems to be the biggest issues the team is facing. I try to give some context and perspective on how I think about where this team, staff and program are.  

We're back for a #FingerWagFridays edition of the Pod after...a tough couple of weeks. We attempt a hard reset of the season after a historically bad performance against DePaul. Why we still have (some) hope and what to look for against Seton Hall.

We recapped the game, discussed the rotation challenges the Hoyas are facing right now, and explained why their depth may not be as bad as it currently looks. Then we get you ready for BE play with a preview of two BIG games: Georgetown starts conference play at Marquette and at home against Xavier (with a date with St. Peter's at McDonough sprinkled in).

The Finger WAG is back to prepare you for the NBA draft. Jake Foote (@Footahh) returns to breakdown strengths and weaknesses of both NBA-bound Hoyas, Thomas Sorber and Micah Peavy, and play a game of ceiling and floor - projecting the best and and worst case comps for both guys. We also talk predictions of where each will end up and our bold predictions for their short and longterm futures in the league.

The Finger WAG's first intro series episode features Jake Foote (@Footahh), who will be a regular contributor to the Pod and site. Jake and Gideon talk about his Hoya story, all time favorite Hoyas, his big takeaways from the 24-25 season, and his bold prediction for the 25-26 team involving a certain incoming transfer. We will feature all of the regular contributors to the pod and site on intro series episodes over the coming months. Jake is first up because he created the face of the Finger WAG - our logo (but mostly because he was the first to get on the schedule).
