Men Creche Podcast | James & Al Get Real
MEN CRÈCHE | THE FLY FIFER PODCAST Welcome to Men Crèche, a place where men can sit down, have a brew, and talk honestly about life. In a world where everyone seems to be shouting, arguing, picking sides, and battling online, Men Crèche asks a simple question: What happens when men simply sit down and talk? This isn't a political podcast. It's not about telling people what to think. It's not about who's right or who's wrong. It's not about left versus right, religion versus atheism, race versus race, or one tribe versus another. It's about conversation. Too many men carry their worries, fears, frustrations, hopes, dreams and struggles locked away in their own heads. We bottle things up. We keep moving forward. We tell ourselves we're fine. Sometimes we are. Sometimes we're not. Men Crèche creates a space where those conversations can happen naturally. We discuss life, family, work, relationships, social issues, current events, religion, culture, community and everything in between. We don't claim to have the answers, but we believe there is value in asking the questions. In a world increasingly divided by labels and opinions, perhaps the most important thing we can do is sit around a table, around a fire, in a shed, a pub, a studio or wherever people gather, and simply listen to each other. Real people. Real conversations. Real opinions. The aim isn't agreement. The aim is understanding. Because when people stop talking, divisions grow. When people talk openly and respectfully, barriers come down. Men Crèche is about bringing men together, encouraging conversation, supporting one another and reminding ourselves that none of us have life completely figured out. Whether you agree with everything discussed or not, you're welcome here. Pull up a chair. The conversation starts now. Hosted by James "The Fly Fifer" and guests from all walks of life, But this one I'm joined by Alan M Carrick. We display some of Alans art along the way with subtle descriptions of what they mean. Subscribe, like, share and join the conversation in the comments. Jamesy

We got Axed off the radio for being too risky
One year of hard work, conversations, community voices, and fighting to make mental health matter in the Highlands & Islands… gone overnight. The Fly Fifer Show on Radio Skye was axed by the board without warning, without discussion, and without the respect of a conversation. A platform built around real people, real struggles, and real community support was deemed “too risky” for the station. "The board of directors have asked for your show to be removed for now as they have concerns over the content of Tuesday’s show and believe a live talk show of this nature is too risky for the station". At a time when people are crying out for open conversations around mental health, especially men’s mental health, silence should never be the answer. But here’s the thing… you can remove a radio show, but you cannot silence a voice driven by lived experience, passion, and community. The Fly Fifer is not finished. This is only the beginning. We move forward bigger, louder, and stronger right here on YouTube continuing the conversations that matter, supporting those struggling in silence, and proving that mental health matters whether you are male or female. Especially during Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we refuse to be silenced. Thank you to every single person who supported the show, shared their stories, tuned in, messaged, and stood beside this movement. Your support means everything. Subscribe, share, and stand with us. The 7 Most Surprising Things James Senior Learned from James Jnr
In this video, James Jnr shares the 7 most surprising things he learned from his life and shares with James Senior. Join us for some insightful father-son chats about life and more! You know as i do podcasts with people from all walks of life it seems i get the best laugh from family. If its not my Claire who's been pressing the buttons of late to discussions direct with Family. I've never belly laughed so much as i did trying to get the motherships podcast done. Tears ran down my face several times at the beginning of that one the giggles. Now this one with My son. its funny how simply reflecting through someone's story can bring out the giggles. Even better when you've been part of it. I've had some tough times in life so has everyone. i think its time we all share stories sat down and chatted without any prejudice. having truthful honest conversations about our paths. James Jnr No one gave you the rule book on life. No one gave me the rule book on it either: and for sure no one gave it to my mother either, your Granny either. We're all just doing the best we can with the lot we've all been given. Life well its all about experiences those bring the lessons we learn from everyone else's opinion is just that theirs. Go learn yours. I dedicate this podcast to my Son James Robert Alexander Hunter. Long after my demise i hope he can look back and laugh at how absurd life is and has been and maybe just maybe if he's lucky he can share this with his son and the mothership too.James Aka The Fly Fifer or Dad if you like.

The MOST INSANE Magnificent 7 Innovations You've Never Seen
Alan Carrick sits with James to discuss his Trauma Informed art,7 books that are for the most parts the sequence of life. If not life itself then Alans. James I've been as close as you can be with Alan given our 3 year journey trying to get his work idea and art out there to a greater audience,There is nothing I can add to this other than be that equally agreeing mind that see's an amazing mind. Also an agreeance of the work that is being sent via Alan to feed to us all. There is no doubt in my mind. I've planned, Alan has tried to plan too. Never do any of our plans work nor go anywhere close to the plan. This art this guidance is in raw format you either grab it understand it or you walk by delusioned by it. its within that delusional mind that the gold metal trinkets and baubles become diamond gems for the utility belt of life. I said on day one with a jingle. lets back pedal forward down the rabbit hole. well as Alan has completed his books its your turn. Time you pedal forward through the rabbit hole weve laid a path that's easy to follow.Pick it up or walk on by. The shadow will follow you either lightened or lifted by Alans work . For me this is ground breaking. where i now roll my sleeves up an get firmly in the jobbies to help others back out.Follow Alans work on Instagram Trauma Informed art.

As we Travel through this crazy world of life,I'd like to see it this way from here on in.Alan an I are striving to help others get out of shit creek. Life is hard enough so we don't need crap especially other peoples to carry.Neil here is at the start looking back over his own personal journey. To everyone Neil mentions I wish to show you the love this wee lad has for you all, because if you don't know how much he loves you then let me assure you all watching this guy has a love you cant buy for each an every one of you. Dr Sandra Lean and the Luke Mitchell case.
Sandra Lean discusses the Luke Mitchell case.Luke in our opinion is an innocent man. it would seem the justice system has failed him. failed you. us and everyone its supposed to serve. This truly seems that being in the wrong place at the wrong time could actually be real. At 14 look at your son or daughter ask yourself could they commit a crime such as this? yes they could should be the answer. But then could they cover it up in such a way at 14 that they would not be implicated in any way. No DNA, no deniable evidence. The justice system is what should be on trial along with its errors made. no one can pay for this now, its beyound that but everyone could make sure that nothing like this could ever happen again.Remember Lukes case here is just 1, there are hundreds like it.Please dont fling mud at us, Please simply do your own research. come to your own conclusion. This podcast is just our opinion. there are millions out there. Go form yours.

Who is Dr Sandra Lean.
James and Alan talk to Dr Snadra Lean. we try to uncover her drive and what makes her tick. Its Admarable in our eyes for someone to fight and give up 20 years of her life fighting for justice for all not just Luke Mitchell.Call it a calling, call it divine intervention, call it what you will . I know enough from what i seen its certainly not for financial gain.Personally i would like to thank Sandra for her efforts and i feel the whole of Scotland owe this freedom fighter a debt of gratitude for she simply fights for true justice, not the MANipulated kind.

The Bampoet
Paul Aka The Bampoet. Links to his work below. https://www.facebook.com/pcpoyums https://www.youtube.com/@UCjLsbLhZIHISjeHhqpHkhAgJust a quick conversation with another of life truly talented writers who comes from within another of Scotland's many schemes. Not taught to be a poet but a natural urge from within to make sense of life, himself , his surroundings. an inner peace from what Paul calls Poyums. Really have to agree with him here as what scheme monkey would ever say POEM. I followed Paul for a while on TikTok as i did with so many others before chatting to them to find out what drives them. I find there is nothing better than shooting the shit with another stranger finding out what makes them tick. Society has a habbit of only promoting the lucky, But really there is a wealth within the bowels of our Schemes who rarely or would never see the light of day with their work or inner workings. Herr is an example of Just another monkey with a passion within that has no reason other than to settle a mind and get through part of a day. The Bampoet I thank you for inspiration to keep looking and chatting. Its guys like you , Big Gee, Angry Plumber, Tony ToastnBeanz, Not forgetting the eye opener of us all Alan, we're all just another monkey with a priceless past and a wealth of knowledge to pass down the herd!Peace Much LoveJames The Fly Fifer
