    7. Andy Miller - Pub carpets, banana bread and taking Fred Again to dinner.

Today’s guest is Andy Miller, the visionary CEO and Co-Founder of Heaps Normal, the independent, Aussie-owned non-alc beer company.Back in 2020, Andy and his co-founders set themselves a pretty ambitious mission: create an alcohol-free beer that actually tasted like beer, and that pubs and bars would genuinely want to stock. Five years later, they’ve done exactly that, with Heaps Normal becoming a staple in fridges and on taps in thousands of pubs around Australia. We chat to Andy about growing up “in a Bluey episode”, the early days of Heaps Normal and what actually makes a good pub. Andy gives us his top five favourite beers, Gem learns the surprisingly fascinating ins and outs of how pub lines are cleaned, and Haylee gets to fangirl over one of her favourite topics: beer.Whether you’ve been meaning to finally crack a can of Heaps Normal or you’re already a long-time fan, this episode is a lot of fun, and you might even learn a thing or two along the way.Show NotesHeaps Normal WebsiteHigh Hopes ProseccoGrifter Pale AleThe Food For Everyone Radio Hour is hosted and edited by Gemma Leslie and Haylee Evans with special mention to Jana Kontogiannis. Our theme song/music was created by Jaz Johnston. Food For Everyone is a culinary poster shop & creative studio that collaborates with renowned chefs and contemporary artists to turn recipes into artworks. 6. Victoria Zschommler - Dry Weet-Bix, working with Chanel and a beetroot soup with Tilda Swinton.

Our guest today is Victoria Zschommler, a still-life, fashion and beauty photographer, who has shot for Dior, Chanel, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Bulgari, and Burberry (just to name drop a few). She has spent a significant part of her incredible career working abroad, but now resides in Northern NSW with her young family. In today's episode, we chat with Vic about growing up by the steel benchtops of her father's Brisbane restaurant in the 90s, her favourite German dishes, working in high-fashion photography in Paris (Um, hello, Chanel?!) and how she developed her distinct creative eye, plus her newfound love for rockpools.Victoria also shares her thoughts on juggling family life with a creative career, sharing her notes on motherhood and how to find balance, especially when you work for yourself. Vic's message is that parenting isn't a one-size-fits-all scenario—forging your own path that's true to you is what it's all about. Oh, and remembering to be nice to yourself. 1. Sofia Levin - Family rituals, surrealist cookbooks and the art of finding hidden gems.

If sunshine took human form, it would look a lot like Sofia Levin. She’s a journalist, food critic, travel writer and MasterChef judge. Sofia also has an incredible website called "Seasoned Traveller" and a newsletter "Eat Curiously" where she shares lesser known food stories. Her motto, #EatCuriously, encourages people to step outside of their culinary comforts to learn more about others and themselves. She’s a total gem. And there was possibly no better person to help put FFE Radio Hour on the air with our debut episode! We spoke about Sofia's love of finding the weird and wonderful places to score a feed (and how she delves into the national census data to do so), her ongoing family rituals, and a few of her favourite "sexy weirdos". A taste of what's to come...

Food is our favourite way to get to know people, so we made a podcast about it. Forget "What do you do with yourself?" We want to know what was in your school lunch box growing up. Your hottest food take. That ultra-specific dish you ate on a holiday 10 years ago that you STILL think about.Every episode, we sit down with people we are curious about -  everyone from chefs and artists to athletes, writers, designers and other people doing interesting things  - to share snippets of their life through food. But if we're being completely honest, this podcast is mostly an elaborate excuse to quiz people on what the hell they are cooking for dinner tonight because we are running out of ideas. It's equal parts creativity, culture and chaos (but mostly, chaos).  Hosted by Gemma Leslie and Haylee Evans, FFE Radio Hour is a podcast to snack on during your day.Gemma is an artist who can't stop painting food. She founded Food For Everyone, the creative studio and culinary poster shop that turns recipes into artworks and helps provide meals for Australians in need. It's niche, but someone's gotta do it. Haylee is a brand and graphic designer, hospitality survivor, AFLW wannabe and all-round it girl. She is currently creating content at Food For Everyone and is chronically online. She needs help. Take a seat, and tuck in.Our first episode launches Wednesday 29th July.Follow us on Instagram.
