Ep. 98: The End Comes Suddenly
Unfortunately, our batteries died before we could conclude this pod, but that was apt as we were discussing ironic endings at the time. Enjoy the time you get. You never know how long you have. Referenced homework is here.

Ep. 96: Asteroids vs Nutty Buddy Creme Pies

Ep. 85: We Need Superheroes To Save Movies
Back together for one last session before prison school starts, the group discussed what is wrong with movies. Why don’t they make them like they used to? Perhaps it is a good thing or we just aren’t appreciating what we’ve got. Alternatively, not all changes are good. Why is everything a CGI-filled sequel or remake? It is telling that we find ourselves in agreement that the superhero domination has been overplayed given that we tend to be strong to very strong fans of the genre. Enjoy! Referenced homework is here.

We cover a range of questions in this interview. Namely, What to you are/should be the seven deadly sins? What are your low-brow guilty pleasures? How ashamed of these are you? Does everyone agree these are low brow? What are your major goals to strive for over the next few years? What would be the ideal amount to win in the lottery or inherit from an unknown relative? How would it change your life—good and bad? What would the 10-year old version of you think if they met you today? Enjoy!

Ep. 74: You Only Live 10 Days
This AYA episode was filled with surprise answers. The questions covered were the following: What are your blind spots (intellectual, emotional, spiritual, etc.)? What are mine and other Fribrarians?Kevin, it turns out you have a terminal disease. You have 10 days to live. Also, you have a large financial debt you previously were unaware of. The good news is you will be completely symptom-free before suddenly dropping dead. I have a proposition for you for your last days. Would you rather have an all expenses-paid trip to Vegas (up to $10,000) and I can give you a pill that can cause you to forget knowing the disease diagnosis or would you rather me pay off the debt?If you were given the equivalent of having $10 million today in Oklahoma, what foreign country would you choose to spend the rest of your life in?What is the probability that intelligent, extraterrestrial life exists currently in our galaxy outside of earth? What is the probability that intelligent, extraterrestrial life has visited earth at any point? How many phases have there been in your life–distinctive periods that are meaningfully different than each other in total even if the transition between them was quite blurry? What is the least amount of money that if you lost it, you’d still feel sick about it a week later? Is this amount higher or lower than you’d like it to be?Kevin, the war in Afghanistan has finally ended. Having served there in active combat, what are your thoughts?Josh, Han shot first—what is your view?Lucas, what is the best Pearl Jam lyric?Kevin, when did boxing peak? Will it ever be as good again?Which are there more: wheels or doors? What counts? What does not?Close your eyes. Image for a moment a terrible event: a very small asteroid plummets to Earth striking this bar. All people within 100 yards are killed except for one. Raise your hand if you image yourself as the survivor. Potential titles included: If you’re ABLE commission, you have to tell me.You only live 10 days.I like America. The referenced homework is here.
