Stuff I Learned Yesterday 21-The Journey From Crippled to Courageous

Hey there Fringe fan!  Darrell here.  You may be wondering why this episode of Stuff I Learned Yesterday is in The Fringe Podcast feed.  You may be wondering what in the world Stuff I Learned Yesterday is.  Stuff I Learned Yesterday is a podcast I started about a month ago.  It’s a short, 5-15 minute podcast that I release Monday - Friday.  Each episode contains short stories based on real events and lessons I’ve learned and it’s intended to encourage, inspire, challenge, and motivate. I’m putting this episode into The Fringe Podcast feed for two reasons.  One reason is that I want you to be aware of the podcast and check it out.  But this episode is actually episode 21.  I chose to put this specific episode in The Fringe Podcast feed because it’s a story about The Fringe Podcast Finale Party and one of our regular feedback contributors, Emilee, or Fauxmeonce.  I hope you enjoy it.  If you want to find more info about the podcast such as how to subcribe or if you want to check out all the other episodes, head over to goldenspiralmedia.com/stuff.

    Dragon*Con Roundtable Recap

In this Dragon*Con roundtable recap episode, Darrell is joined by Chip and Sara (cynewulf23), Carolee and Rick (BostonRedvines), Emilee (Fauxmeonce), Melissa (HydraIsland), Bonita (Yogabon), and Brooke (no_ones_minion).  Recorded at the end of Dragon*Con day 3, we dicuss our favorite panels, encounters we had with various celebrities, some of our favorite costumes, and how Dragon*Con differs from other conventions. Dragon*Con is a MUST attend event for TV & film fans, video game fans, comic book fans, anime fans, and general sci-fi fans.  As a fan organized event, it has a much more genunie and accessible feel than other larger conventions, while still having most of the features that larger cons offer. Fringe stars Jasika Nicole (Astrid), Seth Gabel (Lincoln Lee), and Michael Cerveris (September/Donald) were also in attendance and Dragon*Con featured 3 panels featuring the Fringe stars.  We recorded 2 of the 3 panels (this episode explains why one of them wasn't recorded) and we will release them as separate podcasts.  Darrell also sat in on two panels.  One panel was a fan podcast roundtable, and the other panel was a Person of Interest fan panel.  Each of those will also be released as separate podcasts. We had a GREAT time at Dragon*Con 2013 and will definitely make a return trip soon, hopefully for Dragon*Con 2014.
