A series of conversations between writer-director Rika Ohara, composer Jono Podmore and members of the team drawn together to create a feature film based on Lord Byron's epic poem.Developed from a new reading of Lord Byron's 1813 bestseller, feature film THE GIAOUR returns voice to its drowned heroine Leila, and finds a love story between two men – one Muslim, the other, Christian – caught in the age-old conflict between the East and West.

    Episode 3 - Professor Rebecca Nesvet unveils the secrets in the text

    We talk to professor Rebecca Nesvet, Professor of Literature at University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
