"We are more prepared than we have ever been"

I am excited to introduce you to Vanessa a.k.a The Grateful V. In 2018 we both started DNRS and serendipitously we also both found each other on Instagram. Almost 5 years later and its hard to remember how sick both of us where back then. We have watched and supported each other in using our brain retraining tools to regain our health. We have cheered each other on and have learned to keep thriving even thru the hardships life has thrown at us since we started the Neuroplasticity journey. It has been a long time coming but we finally got to sit down and share a raw and honest conversation about our journey's.  Vanessa is now a Neuroplasticity coach and has gifted us with many healing nuggets in this podcast.

What a ride the last few years have been. I think many of us are yearning to Re-Ignite our Lives in some way or another. When I heard my very favorite Naturopath, Alisun Bonville and Functional Nutritionist, Emily Potter had started the Ignite Life Project I was intrigued indeed. In this gathering of souls Emily and Alisun share some great tips on how to Ignite your life.

“Anchoring Humanity in Compassionate Conversation”- Keith and Rodney from More in Common Podcast

It’s been super tough for all of us. As always I will be 100 percent honest with you. It’s been a long time since I released a podcast because it’s been really hard for me to focus on the GOOD. The political climate along with COVID has been like nothing we have ever experienced before. It has been a soul searching and soul stressing time. I also have been dealing with a bunch of random other stuff that has been super challenging. I will share more with you about that in future podcasts. Today I woke up and felt very sad about it all. The deep sadness pushed me to move back to one of the things that healed me before. My podcast. I turned on this podcast that I recorded with Keith and Rodney (from the More in Common Podcast) months ago. It brightened my day and brought me back to that place that inspired me to start podcasting about the GOOD. This is such a prevalent and powerful discussion about how to discuss important but tough topics in a place of compassion and respect. It brightened my day and increased the tools in my tool box to be better prepared for those harder conversations while anchoring in compassion and humanity. I hope it brightens your day and better prepares you too! So much love and gratitude to you for being here!

We talk about what brought me to Sound therapy, the science behind it, healing stories and all the benefits it offers beyond ear health. Ironically the sound quality on this one is not the best and I apologize for that! It’s such great info I had to release it anyway. Welcome to the future of Medicine.

    'Healing the Emotions'- Clair Hager

Join us in a Qigong Meditation as Clair Hager guides us thru the Healing the Emotions practice, as instructed by Ken Cohen and is printed in his book: The Way of Qigong. Clair suggests you try to get in nine breath cycles for each part of the meditation. (Please do not be concerned if you can't do this.) I have noticed nine seems to be an important number in Qigong so now I often chant my mantra's in sets of three or nine. This meditation practice heals you and the generations before and after you. It creates ripples of goodness throughout your body that radiates to the rest of the planet. I hope it brings you to a place of peace. I will release my conversation with Clair Hager next weekend. So stay tuned!

A Pill Free Solution for Chronic Pain: John Gribbin

I’m always trying to grow my knowledge about brain plasticity so, when someone told me about Curable I had to try it. The app is so impressive I invited Curable Co Founder and CEO John Gribbin on the podcast so that he could share his story and the birth story of Curable, along with some of the cutting edge science that Curable was built upon. If you or someone you know is dealing with chronic pain I hope this podcast helps jump start a journey of leaving pain behind and getting back to living life!

Slow and Attentive: Hannah Lee Clemenson

I remember a 2 or 3-year-old darling girl at a wedding around 16 years ago.  She was crying and overwhelmed.  The wedding was loud and over-stimulating.   Someone handed her a fragrant lavender flower.  She put the flower to her nose and started to take some deep breaths.  Then, she began to laugh.  The joy that the lavender flower gave her is a memory that will forever live in my mind.  Meet Hannah Lee Clemenson she is all grown up now and has joined us on the podcast to share some lessons about living as a courageous and bold blind woman.  Not surprisingly this conversation might just inspire us all to go find a flower and to savor the smell in absolute joy!

Keesia Janes: I am more attentive in the moment

My dear friend Keesia Janes left all social media and gave up her smart phone seven months ago. I invited her on the show because I find unplugging from technology a truly refreshing concept. It really wasnt that long ago that we all just used our cell phones for phone calls. Its amazing how quickly we have become so dependent on our phones. Is social media and the smart phone making our lives better? Is the smart phone and social media tools or crutches? We discuss these questions and about how these technologies have effected each of us in different ways. Please share your thoughts with us too!
