Today’s conversation about Evan’s return to the podcast is truly profound. His story is powerful and inspiring, reminding us all that life can challenge us in unexpected ways. Throughout it all, what stood out most is what Evan emphasized: self-care remains the most important act we can do for ourselves. It’s about being willing to do whatever it takes—to listen, to heal, and to nurture our mind, body, and spirit. His journey highlights that even in moments of difficulty, taking care of ourselves isn’t just a luxury — it’s a vital part of moving forward and creating a meaningful, sustainable life. The Grateful Artist Podcast - Acceptance is the Answer

Hello everyone! Welcome to “The Grateful Artist Podcast” I’m your host, Stephanie Paige, and today’s episode is a little different. My cohost, Evan Griffith, and I took a involuntary break from the show for a week we’ve been sideline from our lives in unexpected ways. Evan will share his story in our next episode, and I’m really excited for him to do that his experience is truly powerful. But today, my husband Doug Morgano was kind enough to step in and join us. We thought the perfect word for what’s happening is “Acceptance”. Sometimes, life throws us curveballs, and all we can really do is accept what’s real, right here, right now. We’ve got so many exciting things coming up next week, we’ll share Evan’s story, and we’ll also talk about an upcoming retreat and how to create one. But for today, we’re focusing on acceptance, why it’s so vital, and how it can help us move through life’s challenges with grace. We hope you enjoy this episode. Let’s get into it. The Grateful Artist - Sparks Pod - Passion House, Workshops, Self-Help Fraud & More

Welcome, everyone! This is “The Sparks Pod”, brought to you by “The Grateful Artist Pidcast” , where each week we share the little things that inspire us what we’re reading, watching, listening to and the happenings in our lives that spark deeper creativity and connection. In this episode, we’re diving into some compelling topics. First, I’ll be sharing a story about a couple I met in Santa Fe who started a company called Passion House a truly inspiring journey of passion, persistence, and purpose. We’ll explore how their path can spark ideas for your own work and life. Then, we’ll talk about time specifically, the balance between consumption and creation. Too much of one, and you risk burnout or boredom. We’ll examine what good and bad consumption and creation look like, and how to find your rhythm in this busy creative world. Next, I’ll share a story about Marta, who, after many months of grief and loss, is pushing herself to create and find her inspiration again proof that even in tough times, we can reignite our passion. Finally, we'll discuss the importance of discernment how to tell what’s right for you, whether in art, life, or choices just like Ann, who’s passionate about getting into her studio every day, supported by workshops, courses, and community. Thanks for being part of this journey. We love creating space for your sparks — so, what’s sparking you today? The Grateful Artist Podcast - The Creative - Spiritual Matrix

Hello everyone! Welcome to “The Grateful Artist Podcast”. Today, we’re diving into a deeply soulful topic — the powerful connection between spirituality and creativity. This isn’t just about making art; it’s about understanding that our creative process is a spiritual journey. When we tap into that higher energy, everything flows more effortlessly, and inspiration becomes almost unstoppable. We are your host Stephanie Paige writer, artist and Evan Griffith, a brilliant writer and Gallery owner, and we are exploring how spiritual practices whether it’s prayer, meditation, or trusting that quiet voice inside can unlock your full creative potential. We’ll talk about how intuition guides our decisions, how visualization helps manifest ideas, and how surrendering control can be the most powerful act of creating. We’ll also examine the impact of spiritual teachers, sacred texts, and community in building a creative-spiritual matrix. And at the end, we’ll share some timeless quotes from masters like Rumi, Jung, Blake, and Einstein, reminding us of the magic that flows when we live and create from a place of deep connection. Finally, let’s touch on the power of community and sharing this spiritual and creative journey a vital part of staying inspired and connected. Remember what Rumi said: "Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world, and spirituality is the water that keeps that soul alive." And Jung believed, "Your vision will become clear only when you look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." Blake said, "The imagination is not a state; it is the human existence itself, a divine bridge between the material and the spiritual." And Einstein reminded us that, "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." Thank you for joining us on this sacred journey where art and spirit meet. We love sharing these moments, building community in love and light. Please share your questions, stories, and dreams with us. We’d love to hear from you and include your insights in future episodes. Reach out via email at [email protected] — we’re excited to connect. And as always, keep your heart open, connect deeply, and let your magic flow. See y’all next week! The Grateful Artist Sparks Pod - Spiritual Existentialism, My Beautiful Broken Brain & More - 3:27:26, 4.09 PM

Hey, everyone! Welcome to “The Sparks Pod” Spiritual Existentialism, My Beautiful Broken Brain & More, brought to you by The Grateful Artist Podcast. We’re so glad you’re here. This week, Evan Griffith and I are diving into some powerful themes that keep us inspired and connected. First, we talk about “how to test the universe” - planting intentions, paying attention to signs, and trusting that your energy is aligning with your dreams. I shared how I personally have used my own tests like asking to connect with the universe’s sign and how that keeps me moving forward. Evan brought up Joe Vitale’s idea that everything hinges on our thoughts, feelings, and connection to the ‘Great Something.’ It’s about thinking, “Is the universe out to help me?” or “Is it against me?” I shared how shifting my perspective turned everything around. When I see the universe as a kind, supportive partner, my resistance melts away, and things flow naturally. We also reflected on the inspiring story of My Beautiful Broken Brain - how even shattered moments can lead to new strength and purpose. It’s a reminder that adversity can transform us in ways we never imagined. And Evan shared some science, like Dick Van Dyke’s secret to longevity, which is all about having a positive outlook and practicing gratitude , something I wholeheartedly agree with. Finally, we wrap up with a simple question: What’s sparking you right now? Thanks for hanging with us. We love creating this space for you — so keep shining, stay curious, and we’ll see you next time! The Grateful Artist Podcast - Interview with Juliette Crane

Welcome to The Grateful Artist Podcast- where creativity, inspiration, and soulful stories come together. Today, I’m so excited to share an interview with the incredibly talented and deeply soulful Juliette Crane. I truly enjoyed this conversation with her—her artistry is breathtaking, and her story is truly inspiring. Based in the scenic Driftless Region of Wisconsin, Juliette’s work gracefully dances between abstraction and figuration, exploring themes of memory, color, and the natural world. After losing her job in 2009, she returned to her childhood love—painting. Starting with dripping and splashing colors, she intuitively uncovered figures within the layers, creating art that reflects the inner radiance of human life. When shoulder trouble in 2024 made painting large portraits difficult, she shifted her approach—laying canvases flat and building luminous layers of color that evoke emotion and connection. Her work challenges expectations, inviting viewers into a space of reflection and universal truth. In this episode, Juliette shares her process, her journey, and her mission to help others find their own creative voice. Her soulful, expressive work is a reminder that imperfection is beautiful—and that true magic is found in the depths of our stories. Let’s dive into her story. Thank you, Juliette for shining your lights so bright !! The Grateful Artists - Sparks Pod -Trust Yourself + Two Young Dudes Speak Sparks + More

Welcome to The SparkPod: Trust Yourself + Two Young Dudes Speak Sparks This week, we’re diving into a series of stories that ignite our curiosity and remind us to look for the sparks in each day. I’m Stephanie, and I’m here with my cohost, the amazing Evan Griffith. Together, we’re sharing conversations that open up new perspectives on inspiration, growth, and the magic of life. We kick things off with a reflection on how different books and stories can spark us—like Sonia Choquette’s Trust Within, which encouraged me this morning to focus on my inner trust—and how that can shift everything. Then, Evan shares what’s been lighting him up—like his son’s new projects and the powerful growth that comes from stepping outside your comfort zone. We also share snippets from my son Alex, who’s just started his college golf season and discovered that paying attention to his mindset and nutrition makes all the difference. And Evan rounds us out with a story about the artist Michael Kessler, who reached out to share how much he’s digging our podcast — and how his own authentic life makes his work truly inspiring. As always, we love creating these moments of connection and invitation. So, what’s sparking you? Drop us a message and share your sparks — we might feature your story next! The Grateful Artist Podcast - Interview with Rick Stevens Nature Artist 2

Welcome to The Grateful Artist Podcast! Today, I’m excited to introduce a painter whose work has deeply inspired me for years—Rick Stevens. Rick’s art is rooted in the natural world’s sublime mystery, and he believes in surrendering to that mystery to let unseen forces guide his brush and his life. Growing up in Michigan, he was motivated by his father’s evocative landscapes and an early love for the woods and wildlife. His creative journey took him from studying art to retreating into the forest for spiritual reflection and exploring the connections between nature, meditation, and even quantum science. Rick’s work moves effortlessly between realism and abstraction, capturing the pulsating energy and rhythm of the universe. Whether working outdoors or in the studio, he creates paintings that challenge us to see beyond the surface—merging the observable world with the unseen forces that connect us all. His journey is one of quiet reverence and joy, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into his process and philosophy today. The Grtateful Artist - Interview Michael Carini

Welcome to The Grateful Artist Welcome to “The Grateful Artist”, a podcast dedicated to inspiring artists, creators, and dreamers to live and create with gratitude. Hosted by Stephanie Paige, a renowned artist and author, this show explores the deeper connection between creativity, mindfulness, and the power of opening your heart. Today, I’m excited to introduce you to a truly inspiring artist—Michael Carini. Michael is a neurodivergent artist living with Tourette’s and has had two major traumatic brain injury. But instead of letting those challenges define him, he’s turned pain into purpose. His motto is simple yet powerful: “Don’t be afraid to be different. Be afraid of being the same.” Michael coined the term “Acrylic Alchemy”, which perfectly captures the transformative magic he creates in his art and life. He’s built a remarkable community by doing coaching, offering classes, sharing his journey through a blog and YouTube channel. His Facebook group, “A Safe Place for Artists”, has grown to over 100,000 followers, creating a massive support network for artists everywhere. He’s also one of the busiest artists I know, doing daily artist talks on Instagram and YouTube, volunteering, inspiring countless others. Recently, Michael became a columnist for “Paint World Magazine”, where he shares his journey and his “Acrylic Alchemy” philosophy. I was fortunate to sit down with Michael for this interview, and I was blown away by his resilience, his story, and his deep desire to serve others. His purpose is rooted in not having had many opportunities himself, and now, he’s dedicated to opening doors for others. This conversation was incredibly deep and personal, and I believe his powerful message will resonate deeply with all artists. We’re truly lucky to share a gallery in Little Italy, San Diego, with someone as inspiring as Michael. Let’s dive into his story. The Grateful Artist - Attachment to Victimhood

Today, we’re talking about victimhood—how it can hold us back and what we can do to reclaim our strength. Many artists and creatives fall into the trap of feeling like they have no control over their success or failures. They blame circumstances, others, or bad luck for their struggles. But the truth is, dwelling in that victim mindset keeps us stuck, unable to move forward or fully live our purpose. Buddhism teaches us that victimhood stems from attachment and aversion—clinging to suffering and resisting what is. The Buddha said, “Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” When we see ourselves as victims, we nourish that poison, and it prevents growth. Another powerful teaching is, “What we think, we become,” which reminds us that our thoughts shape our reality. If we shift from a victim mindset to one of acceptance and responsibility, we regain our strength. Instead of asking, “Why me?” we ask ourselves, “What can I learn?” or “What is mine to do now?” Remember, true empowerment comes from owning our choices and recognizing that we always have the power to change our story. The Grateful Artist - Say, I Love You!

The Grateful Artist - Say I Love You! Welcome to “The Grateful Artist”, a podcast dedicated to inspiring artists, creators, and dreamers to live and create with gratitude. Hosted by Stephanie Paige, a renowned artist and author, this show explores the deeper connection between creativity, mindfulness, and the power of opening your heart. This week, we're diving into the most powerful energy on earth: Love. In this episode, we explore how love can serve as the greatest protection in a world that often feels challenging and overwhelming, especially for sensitive artists. The practice I invite you to try is simple but transformational: say aloud, "I love everyone, and everyone loves me." This mantra is more than words; it's a way to free yourself from negativity, hate, and emotional wounds. As artists—who often feel deeply and are highly sensitive—this love within us is part of our spirit, our essence. It’s a deep, innate force that can shield us from the hate and chaos we see around us. Many of us spend years desperately seeking love from others, only to end up feeling empty and hurt when it isn’t returned. Learning to harness and give love from within is a powerful act of self-protection—and a path toward healing. Because, as the wise say, love is the only thing that can truly dissolve hate. Join us as we discuss how loving freely, without expectations or judgment, can transform your relationships and your life. We'll also share inspiring quotes from spiritual leaders like Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass, and others that echo the importance of unconditional love, presence, and acceptance. Remember, love is not about possession—it's about presence. It’s about opening our hearts and trust that love, in its purest form, is the greatest power on earth. The Grateful Artist -Meditation Podcast

Meditation Podcast Welcome to “The Grateful Artist”, a podcast dedicated to inspiring artists, creators, and dreamers to live and create with gratitude. Hosted by Stephanie Paige, a renowned artist and author, this show explores the deeper connection between creativity, mindfulness, and the power of opening your heart. Today, we’re diving into the world of Meditation—an art form that is uniquely your own. One of the most important truths about meditation is that there is no one right way. There’s no single method, no perfect program, or spiritual guru to follow. Meditation is about YOU—your mind, your body, and your spirit. It’s about being fully present in this moment, because that’s the only place where true connection happens. If we show up wholeheartedly in the present, that’s all there is—no yesterday, no tomorrow—just now. This awareness extends beyond ourselves to our connection with Mother Nature and everything around us. When we realize how deeply interconnected we are, it becomes a source of power and peace. My wish for you is that you find your own practice—without judgment or comparison. There’s no perfect way to meditate. Whether it’s sitting quietly, driving with full attention, washing dishes while feeling the moment, or simply walking and sensing your steps—show up for yourself. Connect with your inner self, thank your body and spirit for always being present, and trust that your unique practice will unfold naturally. Because meditation is simply about showing up—with an open heart and a curious mind. That’s where true growth begins. The Grateful Artist - Attention Seekers

Attention-Seekers: Stand Out by Embracing your Inner Truth In this episode, we explore four powerful practices that make true seekers stand apart. Instead of taking things at face value, they investigate and discover what truly resonates with their soul. We talk about how seeking is not just about personal growth but about connecting with others who shine their light brightly. When you seek the truth, you realize that we are all interconnected—coming from different places, but fundamentally the same. Even in our darkest moments, we can see ourselves in others. This week’s exercises will help you cultivate a deeper connection with your purpose: - Reach out to someone who inspires you and let their light move you. - Thank those who have influenced you and share what you’ve learned. - Align your actions with your life’s purpose and path. Join us as we explore how to stand out as a true seeker—by trusting your journey, connecting authentically, and shining your light in the world. The Grateful Artist - Broken Receiver.

Broken Receiver In this episode of The Greatful Artist, we delve into a fundamental yet often overlooked aspect of our emotional and energetic well-being—the concept of the broken receiver. Many of us are experts at giving. We pour our energy, our time, and our love into supporting others, sharing our talents, and expressing ourselves freely. But when it comes to receiving—gifts, compliments, love, and help—the process becomes much more complicated. Why is it that we can give so freely but struggle so intensely to accept? Our ability to truly receive is deeply connected to our energy flow. If our receiver is broken, the flow of positive energy gets blocked. We hold tight to our pride, self-doubt, or past wounds—building walls that prevent the natural flow of abundance and love coming back to us. This imbalance creates a ripple effect, fueling feelings of inadequacy, loneliness, and even depression. It hampers our ability to connect, to trust, and to feel worthy of joy and kindness. The concept of the broken receiver isn’t just about emotional walls; it’s about understanding that energy is everything. When we refuse to accept love and kindness, we block the cycle of giving and receiving that sustains us. Conversely, a broken giver—someone who takes without giving, without connection, or awareness—can create friction in relationships and drain our energy. This unbalanced exchange can cause a sense of ongoing disconnect and loneliness, fueling struggles with mental health and feelings of emptiness. My upcoming book, set to release in January 2026, titled “The Broken Receiver”, will explore this very topic in depth. It offers practical exercises, techniques, and tricks of the trade—ways to train our minds and reprogram our thoughts so our energy flows freely. Because it’s all connected—our thoughts, feelings, and energy are intertwined, and learning to open our hearts to receive allows us to cultivate beautiful, flowing energy that enhances every aspect of our lives. I want to thank you for tuning in today. If this resonates with you, I invite you to connect with me. The Grateful Artist - Brain Maintenance -

Welcome to Brain Maintenance with Stephanie Paige In this episode, we’re diving into the vital topic of brain health and how to nurture your mind to live more fully, creatively, and positively. So often, we get caught in mental ruminations—those endless cycles where we stay stuck at home, overwhelmed by worries about the past or anxieties about the future. The more we stay in that space, the heavier our lives feel, even though we believe we’re resting. But the truth is, the longer we wait to engage with the world—whether by taking a walk, soaking up sunlight, or simply shifting our perspective—the more difficult it becomes to lift ourselves out of mental fatigue. We’ll talk about how perspective shapes our brain chemistry. When you view anxiety as a sign of growth, a sign that you’re leveling up, your body responds with calm and confidence. Conversely, if you’re trapped in worry—dreading tomorrow or fearing the worst—your brain releases toxins that can poison your body and attract more negativity. But here’s the good news: your mindset is within your control. When you change your perspective to one of optimism and trust, you can reset your chemistry, your energy, and your overall well-being. To support this journey, I’ll share a curated list of my favorite books on mind health and self-awareness. These inspiring titles include works Byron Katie - The Work: The Only Spiritual Practice That Works - Loving What Is: Four Questions That Can Change Your Life Deepak Chopra - The Self-Aware Universe: How Consciousness Creates the Universe - The Soul of Healing: How Spirit Works Through Medicine and the Mind - Perfect Health: The Complete Mind/Body Guide Wayne Dyer - The Power of Intention - Your Sacred Self: Making the Decision to Be Free - Change Your Thoughts—Change Your Life Thich Nhat Hanh (Buddhist Monk) - The Miracle of Mindfulness - Peace Is Every Step - The Art of Living Eckhart Tolle - The Power of Now - A New Earth Jon Kabat-Zinn - Wherever You Go, There You Are - Full Catastrophe Living Louise Hay - You Can Heal Your Life Pema Chödrön - When Things Fall Apart - The Wisdom of No Escape Michael A. Singer - The Untethered Soul Eckhart Tolle - Stillness Speaks— Focuses on finding peace in silence and being present. - Practicing the Power of Now— Practical exercises for living fully in the present moment. The Grateful Artist - DREAM Blocks

Dream Blocks: Giving your power away to the people closest to you can Hold Us Back In this episode, we dive into the many blocks that can stop us from achieving our dreams—especially those rooted in our relationships and the people closest to us. Sometimes, the support we seek from loved ones can turn into obstacles if we allow it. We discuss how giving away our power, setting unrealistic expectations, or resenting others when they don’t act how we want can create internal barriers that hold us back for years. Relying on others to give us the confidence to move forward can be a trap—because when we do, we’re essentially giving away our own power to create, believe, and succeed. Our mindset becomes dependent on external validation instead of inner trust. This episode explores how to recognize these hidden blocks and reclaim your power so you can move toward your dreams with clarity and confidence—without waiting for anyone’s approval or validation. Learn how to break free from these mental and emotional barriers, and start owning your journey today.
