Today we’re going to talk about faith after fire. In Episode 34, we ended with Jesus saying in John 16:7 (NKJV): “It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the HELPER will not come to you…” Jesus was not promising emotional comfort. He was promising divine indwelling presence. And that changes the nature of faith. Because prior to Pentecost, faith meant trusting the promises of God while awaiting fulfillment.
