Mr Keyes Jay Dee tribute mix
This is a Mix I done for DJ Kingstun's Main ingredient show a couple of years ago. It was a tribute to one of the best producers to bless the MPC who passed away. I nearly lost my older sister to same condition he died of also so I know what the family must have gone through. Anyway sit back and enjoy Dilla Dawg at his finest. One of the main guys next to Pete Rock and Primo that inspired me when I started out in 95. The mix is mainly the earlier stuff that captured the essence of the man. It’s made up of beats from 2001 - 2007 that were considered for some projects I was working on or they were general ideas I didn't complete. I just had a shit load of floppy disks lying around with beats on em that I haven’t played for years so I thought I’d make a CD out of them. All Tracks produced by Mr Keyes for GR Entertainment.
