The Growing Us Project

How many couples begin love relationships on the foundations of fantasy? Falling in love is easy; we all do it. What comes after is exploring the depths of love and commitment, and that takes courage. Season one of The Growing Us Project follows the stories of three young couples in conversation with Valerie Watt. Together they explore their intentions and vulnerabilities while going deeper in their love relationships. Valerie’s wisdom has been garnered over eighteen years as a couple’s therapist and twenty-eight years of marriage to her husband Chris. Their love story is woven throughout season one as they recount their experience of falling in love and their own deepening commitment.

    Welcome to Season 3 of The Growing Us Project. It’s been an interesting time. I started recording in February of the Pandemic year ( 2020) and of course stopped once we had direction from our  Public Health Officer. It was wonderful to start again, sit with these lovely couples and hear about their journey’s. We will start with their love stories and then move into deeper conversations.
