From a famous racing family, Sam Kavanagh was always destined for a career as a trainer. He's the son of Mark who famously trained out of Adelaide and Melbourne. Winner after winner.  Sam branched out on his own and met with immediate success. His star was born, but then disaster struck. He was suspended for nine years for Cobalt.
