They emphasize God’s presence with us in our suffering, pointing to the cross as the ultimate example of God entering into human pain.The conversation then turns to prayer, especially in seasons of hardship: How do we know God hears us, and what is actually happening when we pray? Jason and Blake discuss Jesus as our high priest, the Spirit interceding for us, and the way prayer not only asks God for help but also reshapes our hearts and loosens our grip on control.
