Fresh off a corona virus scare just like everyone else, The Homer and The Hater are back (finally...) with their post combine breakdown for the 2020 NFL Draft. This pod we're talking hand size, Comcast/Xfinity frustrations, Utah State football letdowns, and why some, mostly just The Homer, think Jerry Jeudy could go number 1 in the right situation.

Season 3 kicks off with a double upload week as The Homer and The Hater find themselves back where it all started, Super Bowl Sunday! This was recorded the Friday before the Super Bowl to be fair, but props have never been all that kind to us either. After we finish up finding our top 5 props each we dive into previewing the big game with, for maybe the first time, both our picks end up on a similar side.

We made it to Season 3! On this season debut episode, The Homer and The Hater take a few segments away from sports to discuss new cell phones and what the hell Tik Tok is. Next, the two catch up on recent notable events in the sports world, most notably Zion's debut, latest gopher great Daniel Oturu, and NCAA basketball/March Madness futures talk, and maybe a little NFL mixed in.

This week The Homer and The Hater take a break from the NFL season to look back at their pre-season predictions on team Win/Loss totals. Looking at both "I was right" and more importantly "I was wrong" moments from this past summer hopefully has us back on track as we head down the final stretch of the NFL season. Thankfully someone wrote down the totals from our summer win total segments so neither of us had to go and re-listen to 8 pods worth of content...

After just getting finished up with the week long plus celebration of Wisconsin losing to Illinois, we finally got this one uploaded. This pod The Homer and The Hater are live poding during the end of the Wisconsin Illinois game, discussing all things annoying about grocery stores and college football playoff projections before Oklahoma went to Manhattan, KS, but mostly just monitoring the Wisconsin loss to Illinois.

Back off hiatus The Homer and The Hater are back and ready to jump back into the grind of the football season. Recorded earlier the prior week the two get into all things NFL as we wrap up the first quarter of the season. Surprise teams, KC vs NE talk before the fall of Mahomes, and poor MNF scheduling round out this week as we look ahead to the trade deadline and college football playoff first reveal in the coming weeks.

Apparently, no one wants to sell cars these days... After hashing out some potential new car issues, and how heavy bullet proof cars are exactly, The Homer and The Hater wrap up their 8 pod journey that has been the NFL divisional breakdown. Ending with the NFC North has brought on a few issues for the two, mostly around how many wins to give The Hater's new favorite team, the Bears, and if The Homer thinks Kirk Cousins is actually a top 10 QB, how many wins does he then add to the Vikings? Wins adjustment pod coming next.

We're getting so close to football season being back, so close that we somehow still don't have an official college football top 25 poll out... But no need to worry! This pod, The Homer and The Hater have found a seemingly legit top 25 and give their takes on how this list shaped out. After college playoff predictions, and a cameo by roommate Chase, the two go into their penultimate NFL division, the AFC North. Shocker, The Homer has the Browns winning the divisions... (apologies for the echoes, new house pod...)

Unfortunately no, we didn't score an interview with David E. Kelley for this pod... (although, David E. Kelley, if you read this, we are definitely interested in doing so!) But, after much 90's and early 00's TV talk, we get to wrapping up our NFL division breakdown with the NFC South. With only the North divisions left, The Homer and The Hater may have begun seeing their win totals affected just a tiny bit by the requirement of only 256 total wins, barring any ties...

In pod 2 of 2 of this double pod week, The Homer and The Hater reminisce a bit about their vibrant bar-going days. After a brief walk down memory lane, the two go through their predictions of who they think will be on the NFL Top 100 Players top 10 list. And finally, the two continue on with their NFL divisional breakdown with the AFC South, and while The Homer's hatred for the Colts doesn't take over his predictions, his distrust in Jacksonville maybe got a bit carried away...

Back from summer break, The Homer and The Hater jump right back in with a little summer edition of potpourri. Later, the two get back to their NFL divisional breakdowns with the NFC West. Maybe less sexy than last year, but with some interesting additions, this wasn't as easy as just picking the Rams.

Finally, as with all good things, it has come to an end. The conclusion of the Ocean's pod series, The Homer and The Hater finish the series off with the agreed upon 3rd out of 3, Ocean's 13. Joined by friend of the pod Julie, the three dive into everything that makes this film great, yet somehow also the worst of the trilogy. Tears were shed, Oprah was watched, but no heavy bikes were involved in the recording of this pod. Here's to Ocean's 9, hopefully sometime in the near future.

This week The Homer (albeit under the weather) and The Hater continue on with their NFL Division breakdowns, this time heading out West. Is The Homer drinking the Hard Knocks Kool-Aid with Oakland? Yes, yes he is. Does The Hater overrate Philip Rivers? Probably. All that plus Denver and Kansas City's inevitable sophomore slump. But first, the two discuss the recent AD to LA trade, with The Hater taking an interesting stance on how he would build a team.

This week, The Homer and The Hater continue on with their NFL divisional breakdown with the NFC East. Then, in a new, on going, albeit probably long term, segment The Homer and The Hater introduce Minnesota Sports Stock Watch. Gauging where the big four (sorry Lynx and United) sports teams are sitting now, and where the two are sitting with their portfolios in forecasting Minnesota sports for the next 5 years.

Pod number 2 of the week, as promised! This pod, The Homer and The Hater get back to football with the start of their divisional breakdowns, starting with the AFC East. Spoiler alert, they both pick the Patriots like everyone else, but have little else in common past that. To round out this week's pod, The Homer and The Hater return to familiar territory with more Potpourri. Tiger, Marvel movies and Game of Thrones, all to be covered before the two head off to take in some international friendly soccer.

We're back from our self imposed (definitely didn't just forget to upload) 2 week break! And we're back with a double pod week at that! In the first pod of the week, The Homer and The Hater finally get around to the topic they were meant to talk about this whole time: weddings. After a mini deep dive into current food faux pas, horse track hot dogs and NBA draft speculation, The Homer and The Hater explore all things weddings, and what makes them great, and what can make them a bit forgettable...

This week The Homer and The Hater dive into all things involving titles. With the Premier League, Champion's League, NHL and NBA all wrapping up their playoffs soon, the two get their picks in as to who they see winning each title. But first, the two get into all things Real Housewives, as well as mixing in a healthy dose of Margin Call highlights in the middle. We'll let you decide where Potomac falls in the pecking order.

Only 356 days until the 2020 NFL Draft! Where The Homer and The Hater will hopefully be doing a live pod from Las Vegas in 2020, but that is TBD as of now. Instead, this week The Homer and The Hater dive into their take on who had the best and worst draft classes over the weekend in a game of F/Marry/Kill, NFL Draft Edition. Near the end of the pod, the two scramble to get their picks in for the Kentucky Derby this weekend following the news of early week favorite Omaha Beach getting scratched. Here's to hoping for Vegas in 2020!

We're finally here! On the eve of the 2019 NFL Draft, The Homer and The Hater are here to deliver their final 2019 mock drafts. Each give their take on who they think will be picked 1-32 on Thursday night, with a little help from a previously mentioned guest...

We're less than a week away from the 2019 NFL Draft, and what better way to go through OL and DL prospects then to breakdown each player individually... We were told not to do this, so we didn't. Instead, with a little help from Brett Young, we looked at OL and DL 2019 prospects and their comps in a game we like to call (and just created) "The Problem Is..." (working title).

In part 3 of this week's uploads, The Homer and The Hater reintroduce an old segment in a new way, it's the wheel of potpourri! Are burritos or bowls better at Chipotle? Will there be more than 3 QB's taken in the first round of this year's NFL Draft? Can lobsters cut off a person's finger with their claws? These answers plus many more hopefully get answered in this weeks pod. Maybe next week we'll get back to sports...

In part 2 of what has now become a 3 pod week, The Homer and The Hater get back into the NFL Draft with their top 10 prospects at QB, RB, and WR. For the most part there's relative agreement, but a few surprises at the top of each position group as they both have their own different takes on who's the best of the offensive skill positions in the 2019 NFL Draft.

We're Back! Or rather we never left. On the heels of the success/semi-success/success to us of the first season of The Homer and The Hater, we've come right back with season 2. This week The Homer and The Hater recap some final super bowl thoughts, take a sneak peak at some mock draft top 10s, and in a new season 2 twist, take a shot at some crossover content between the NFL Draft and Transformers. Maybe it's not that new of a twist, but hey, we made it to season 2!

Part Two of our season 1 finale is all about the good stuff, props! In this part The Homer and The Hater take a look at 5 prop bets that are intriguing to each of us, setting up what we thought was going to be a widely agreed exciting game, only to be fooled once again by Adam Levine.

We've made it to the season's end! In the last pod of the season/year/whatever you want to call it, we do a recap of the AFC and NFC Title games, followed by a deep dive into our predictions for the "Big Game". Coming soon, part two: prop bets.

This week The Homer and The Hater come back with their takes and picks for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Fresh off a 5 for 5 weekend last week for The Hater, the two try and replicate that success with some less fulfilling Saturday match ups, but really interesting Sunday games. Later in the pod, the two discuss fits for newly available* Antonio Brown, including The Hater's ideal landing spot, Green Bay.

Back from holiday break, and after a slight upload issue, The Homer and The Hater are back this week with a double episode drop. In this episode the two do a sneak peak at the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft class, before jumping into college football playoff picks, and then ending with all meaningful/playoff relevant NFL picks for week 17.

Last episode we took a break from the NFL to talk college ball, this week The Homer and The Hater are back to tip the scales back towards the NFL. This pod we dive into all things NFL playoff picture, looking ahead to see who we think will be still playing football into January, and who we think will be the opening act to Maroon 5 in Atlanta in February.

A bit late due to technical difficulties, but better late than never. This episode The Homer and The Hater breakdown every college football championship game, and pick their final 4 teams they think will get in and should get in. There was no Ohio State bias whatsoever in picking The Homer's final 4...

Finally, what you've all been waiting for...and updated The Homer and The Hater icon picture! Well, same picture, just some added color and the banner, but either way, we've finally made it! This week we go over the usual, only slightly condensed version of picks, followed by some NBA takes that don't really matter as Golden State is still going to win the title again, but, we do go bring up the important question, can Steph Curry still dunk?

We're in the thick of things here at The Homer and The Hater as we get into crunch time for a playoff push for most teams in college football. We start things off with mid-season Heisman picks, followed by a weird amount of similar college picks, before wrapping things up with Nick Mullens and our Daily Fantasy (sponsor pending) player pick.

You read that right, we finally are a real pod! Which is good because the title of this episode was about to be "Draft Kings Snaffu" which is way less sexy. This week it's more of the usual; refusal to stay away from the Big Ten, wicked teaser, and Draft Kings player picks. But mostly, it's intro music with a slight pause in the middle (The Hater had an impromptu meeting during recording).

We got called out for making terrible picks, so this week The Homer and The Hater are back with a vengeance, but still the same picks. Big Ten takes are still up for debate, but luckily we avoided the Ohio State vs Purdue trap. Slight complication with understanding how confidence levels work, but we struggle through NFL picks to get to Draft Kings player picks to wrap things up this week.

This week, per usual, The Homer and The Hater break down their weekend picks going into the weekend. As we've come to find out, we're pretty bad at picking games involving Big Ten teams, so for future reference, we will be avoiding this conference. Unfortunately we figured this out after games were played this weekend. Maybe next weekend will be the time we finally avoid the trap that is the Big Ten Conference.

This week The Homer and The Hater cut right to the chase, picks and simple analysis. The past few weeks they have been experiencing a little "paralysis by analysis" and this week they try to right the ship and get back to some form of winning ways. They also finalize their Draft Kings mini game rules set to debut next week, and wrap things up with the Wicked Teaser of the week.

This week The Homer and The Hater sit down and hash out their picks for this week's big college football and NFL games before The Homer dashes out to Las Vegas, making this week all the more real for the pod. We then touch on Kentucky RB Benny Snell, the Wicked Teaser for week 4, and how disappointing the loss for the Vikings last weekend was, for a fan and for the teaser.

This week The Homer and The Hater pick up right where they left off, with more picks! Leading into picks we get into a brief update on our fantasy teams, newly updated NFL rookie of year odds, and a little conspiracy theory on live TV feed delays. Then we get into a tough week of picks, and finish with our new bit, "wicked teaser" (pronounced tease-ah).

We start with the top 5 biggest games we see on the college football schedule, before getting into the games we like most of the 2nd week of the NFL season. Maybe one of them will remember to chart the picks this year for once...

Part 2 of the NFL preview series, AFC edition. The Homer and The Hater pick up where they left off last with the focus being all things American Football Conference. This week the two dive into, among other things, the sneakiness of the Ravens, the fun that the South division brings, and somehow the Jets and the Browns end up with the same record, which weirdly according to The Homer is 8-8.

The Homer and The Hater continue their countdown to kickoff for the 2018 football season with the NFC preview pod. This week they dive into all things NFC including how it'll be the Vikings and the Rams in the NFC title game, how the Vikings defense could be one of the greatest of all time, and how Kirk Cousins will win the MVP this season. We've almost made it, football season is nearly here. This week we dive heavily into everything college football, and by that we mean just the power 5 conferences, and a little bit of Louisiana Tech and San Diego State. We cover conference winners, potential sleeper teams, our picks for the Heisman Trophy, and why this might be the first season the SEC is left out of the playoff.

The Homer and The Hater have a different take on mock drafting with a fantasy style draft for the first 10 picks. But before, the two get into the wormhole question that is: is MTV's The Challenge the most underrated TV show of all time? You be the judge.

Back with another Ocean's breakdown, joined by none other than long time listener and semi-frequent pod cameo, Julie. This week we get into Ocean's 8, and with the help of a female perspective for this female remake we cover why The Hater is out on Cate and Helena, how maybe the writers were asleep at the wheel for this one, and how absurd it is to water down well vodka!
