Endurance is something we don't always enjoy but we read in Hebrews 12:1-2 -- 'Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Our life with God, is one to be lived by faith, and by faith choosing faithfulness to Him, choosing obedience to Him. We all have things we have struggled with before Christ completely came in and transformed our hearts to sing and rest in Him but if we are honest there are still things that we struggle with that if we have in our back pocket we can find some sort of rest and peace knowing we have a backup plan. But have you opened your backup plan only to be left disappointed.
