(SNI), a 26-year four time breast cancer survivor is recognized nationally as a true visionary and national leader in the African American breast cancer movement. Sisters Network is the nation’s only African American breast cancer survivorship organization. Jackson continues to lead Sisters Network’s nationwide effort to focus the spotlight on increasing breast cancer awareness in the African American community. The organization provides standardized national educational outreach programs; survivor & family support; empowerment; hope and financial assistance to thousands of women annually through its national network of over 20 survivor-run affiliate chapters. She has over 29 years in the entertainment industry. She began her journey with the world renowned Rennie Harris Puremovement Hip Hop Theatre Company in 1991. She was a founding member and bid farewell to the company in 1997 to go on tour with R & B recording artist, Gina Thompson. She toured with Gina Thompson throughout the USA and Europe for a year. In 1998 she toured with Hip Hop recording Artist Eve as a background dancer and choreographer. While with Eve she was honored to perform on the following television shows: Soul Train, Show Time at The Apollo, NFL Under The Helmet, Motown Live, and The Conan O’Brien Show. Her next honor was choreographing and performing with the legendary Teddy Pendergrass. She toured with Teddy from 1999-2002 throughout the USA. She was honored to perform with Teddy in his last recorded performance “From Teddy With Love.” Ontaria’s passion for dance thrusted her into the spiritual side of dance. In 1999 she became the dance ministry director for The Calvary Baptist Church of Philadelphia. During her tenure she became a dance ministry consultant for churches throughout the tri state area until 2015. In 2013 she left her job at The Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania to pursue the arts full time. That year she began teaching performing arts to elementary school aged children and she wrote and produced her first stage play “THE HEALING.” The Healing was her breakout production that confirmed her lifelong purpose of sharing the arts to touch one soul at a time. In 2014 she wrote, produced, and directed her next staged brainchild “DETOX.” Detox has transformed the lives of many people because of it’s message of healing the family by decreasing the use and power we give modern technology and social media. Detox has been in rotation for six years. In 2018 she was a co author in the Amazon Best Selling anthology “Bruised Broken & Blessed” published by Penlegacy. She also erected her third explosive stage production “BEAUTIFUL TOXICITY” which proved to be the catalyst for her first solo author experience. Because of the audience’s request for more she converted the stage play into a book under the same title. Beautiful Toxicity was published by Penlegacy in 2019. Ontaria is also an accomplished actress, director, screenwright, certified life coach, and she holds a Theatre Degree. She is a co author of “Slay Your Legacy” (a book anthology focused on the keys of manifesting the life you want) compiled by Charron Monaye and published by Penlegacy Publishing Company. Her mantra is “If God has downloaded a dream or vision into you it’s your responsibility to complete the assignment. Someone is depending on your yes.

    "Houston's Honorable Hollingsworths" The Doctors are in the building!

    Today we are unpacking the Hollingsworths. Together, they have been doing it all for 10 years! Mrs. Hollingsworth possesses a Doctoral in Clinical Psychology, owns and operates two Psychological  Practices while instructing as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Psychology at Texas Southern University. Meanwhile, Mr. Hollingsworth possesses his Doctorate in Chemistry. He is a member of the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of St. Thomas (UST) in Houston, Texas. In addition to leading a research team, Dr. Hollingsworth serves as the faculty co-advisor for the UST Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS), as well as the UST Chapter of the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE).     Felicia Young is an amazing woman of God anchored in her faith.  Years ago, when she was at her lowest point in life, Ms. Young received a prophecy that God would greatly bless her through her only beloved son, Vincent Young. After overcoming many obstacles, her son did indeed get drafted by the NFL.  For many years she was afforded opportunities, met people of different nationalities all over the world all while enjoying the amenities her new found fame and fortune provided.   What some people may not know is that, Ms. Young has empowered countless women through her ministry, Felicia Young Ministry.  Throughout her journey, she has remained a dedicated Community Leader in Houston Texas.  However, her road was filled with great pain and anguish that many people struggled through today and may relate to.  Ms. Young accredits her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for allowing her to break every chain holding her hostage from the fullness of his blessings.  If you are looking to be inspired, if you know anyone who has felt overwhelmed and needs to be encouraged, this segment is now available in its entirety.
