The Pain You Feel Now vs The Joy That's Coming | Training Arc

1 AM. Can't sleep. Gym bag in hand. What happens when you can't shut your brain off? You show up. You train. You think out loud. This is a 2 AM back and triceps session with no script, no plan, just reps, rest timers, and the kind of thoughts you only say when nobody else is around. Ricardo walks through a new training split, breaks down the GRND tracker app in real time, and opens up about the difference between being stubborn and being stuck. He talks about higher lows and lower highs. About the people who had everything and lost it. About being 22, divorced, running a business he's selling, and trying to figure out what actually matters when the noise dies down. He covers the trap of letting one success define you, why rock bottom teaches faster than winning ever will, and why sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is let them get up on their own. There's talk about money, women, and the version of himself that used to think church was performative. About the tattoo on his arm that says Romans 8:18 and why he looks at it when things get heavy. About God being first, not second. About choosing faith instead of having it chosen for you. And why the pain you're in right now is nothing compared to what's coming. No guest. No polish. Just a guy, a barbell, and the truth he's working through in real time. If you've ever trained alone at 2 AM because your head wouldn't stop spinning, this one's for you. 00:00:00 Can't Sleep, So We Train 00:04:30 New Split Breakdown & Why I Changed It 00:09:00 Unilateral Lat Pulldowns & Tracking in the GRND App 00:14:00 Why Logging the Machine Brand Actually Matters 00:18:30 Tricep Pushdowns & Breaking the Speed Habit 00:23:00 T Bar Rows & Shoulder Blade Squeezes 00:28:00 Higher Lows, Lower Highs & Not Letting Success Define You 00:34:00 The Guy Who Lost Everything 00:38:30 Being Stubborn in the Right Areas 00:43:00 Dumbbell Rows & The Tattoo That Keeps Me Going 00:48:00 Overhead Tricep Extensions & Filming at 2 AM 00:52:30 Posing Room Breakdown & Progress Check 00:56:00 Post Credit Scene: God, Money, Women & Finding Faith 01:04:00 Why I Used to Judge People at Church 01:08:30 Train Hard, Eat Right, Pray to God ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com Code:RICO GRND Tracker App: https://grnd.ricoxjourney.com/login FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts

Four hours from home, three weeks of planning, and one delivery that didn't show up on time. What happens to a plan when the one piece you can't replace fails three hours before you need it? This is the day we found out — the Summit One Vanderbilt mission, the after-action report, a $40-a-day Manhattan gym, and Brooklyn on a day when the whole city decided to be outside. The LONG Drive & Side Quests | NYC Road Trip Pt 1

Ricardo and Marquise hit the road from Baltimore to New York City with one primary mission: help their boy ask out his girl. What starts as a straightforward road trip turns into a comedy of errors, miscommunication, and side quests that test their patience and their commitment to the brotherhood. They stop in Delaware for gas station beef jerky taste tests and energy drinks, argue about bed sheets in an underground Airbnb that looks like a prison cell, feast on Jamaican jerk chicken in Queens, and discover Hummus Fit — the meal prep spot that might've just changed their lives. Marquise tries beef jerky for the first time. They take four trains across Manhattan hunting for one specific Gymshark shirt that doesn't exist. They stand in Times Square where the Avengers Tower was filmed. And they drop some real talk about why going to the gym isn't as scary as you think. But the real reason they're here? A side mission three weeks in the making. Flowers. A rooftop. Summit One Vanderbilt. A thousand feet in the air with see through floors. A yes or no question that could change everything. The plan was foolproof. 100% success rate. Until the flowers didn't show up. Then the backup plan kicked in. Then chaos. Then elevator doors opening into the clouds. This is part one. The setup. The grind. The journey before the moment. If you've ever done something crazy for your boys, you'll get it. 00:00:00 Road Trip Begins: Baltimore to NYC 00:03:34 Delaware Pit Stop & Travel Snacks 00:07:02 The Real Reason We're Going to NYC 00:12:56 Arriving at the Underground Airbnb 00:14:50 Jamaican Jerk Chicken Feast 00:15:51 The Great Bed Sheet Struggle 00:19:09 Next Morning: Hummus Fit Run 00:20:58 Manhattan Mission: Gymshark Hunt 00:25:31 Times Square & Avengers Tower Moment 00:32:38 Gym Advice: Just Do It 00:36:40 The Side Mission Begins 00:41:57 Summit One Vanderbilt: Epic Failure 00:42:53 Mission Update: We're In 00:45:00 The Big Moment ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com Code:RICO GRND Tracker App: https://grnd.ricoxjourney.com/login FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Every Road Leads Back to God

Ricardo was 130 pounds, running marathons, and feeling like a rag doll. Andrew was spamming 100 push-ups a day during quarantine, trying to build something out of nothing. This week on The Journey Podcast, Ricardo and Andrew from GRND CO break down the physical side of transformation — not the highlight reel, but the real grind behind building a body that can carry the weight of your purpose. They get into what it actually takes to go from skinny or stuck to strong and disciplined. Andrew talks about how soccer and muscle couldn't coexist until he learned balance. Ricardo opens up about body dysmorphia, binge eating to fill a void, and the marathon mile where he begged God not to let him stop. They cover the mental traps that keep you stuck, why all roads lead back to God, and how your physical discipline is a direct reflection of how much you respect yourself, your future, and your Creator. This isn't about six-packs or biceps. It's about the deeper truth: your body is not your own. God gave it to you. What you do with it matters. If you're building something, this episode will remind you why the physical pillar is non-negotiable. ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com Code:RICO GRND Tracker App: https://grnd.ricoxjourney.com/login FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Day God Took Everything We Treasured | Brutal Honesty

Andrew had a first-division pro soccer offer in Colombia. He turned it down to follow God. Ricardo was crying on his couch on a Saturday night after exhausting every option — money, girls, gym, grinding harder. The next morning he walked into church and the weight came off his shoulders. This week on The Journey Podcast, Ricardo and Andrew from GRND CO get raw about the spiritual side of becoming a man. No crystals, no self-help fluff — just two young men talking about what it actually took to find God after years of running from Him. They cover Andrew's year playing pro soccer in Bolivia, the seeds their moms planted, baby baptism vs. believer's baptism, why God takes what you idolize, and why more young men are seeking faith right now. 00:00:00 Intro & Episode Setup 00:03:15 Spirituality vs. Self-Help — What We Actually Mean 00:06:45 Bolivia — Professional Soccer & Losing Himself 00:14:00 The Moment Andrew Reached Out 00:19:00 Getting Close to God Means Facing Your Ego 00:25:00 Crying in Church — The Switch That Flipped 00:30:30 The Endless Treadmill of Goals Without God 00:34:30 Church Is the Cable, God Is the Power Source 00:41:00 God Is a Little Jealous — Idolizing the Wrong Things 00:48:30 Opposition on the Walk — Friends, Family & Planting Seeds 00:50:30 Announcements — Grind Tracker App & Coaching ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com Code:RICO GRND Tracker App: https://grnd.ricoxjourney.com/login FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Why Rock Bottom Is a Privilege (Not a Curse) - GRND CO

Ricardo and Andrew from the Grind Collective sit down for the rawest conversation yet. Andrew opens up about losing himself inside his soccer identity — the fame, the clout, the pro-level talent — and how it led to drugs, depression, and crying himself to sleep every night. His mom catching him was the turning point. Ricardo shares how heartbreak kept him in bed for two months, how Googling 'top paying jobs' at 17 led him to entrepreneurship, and why rock bottom is actually a privilege. They break down the four pillars every young man needs, confront ego culture head-on, and announce the upcoming GRND CO program. This isn't motivational fluff — it's two young men telling the truth about what it takes to become the kind of man worth being. 00:00:00 Intro & Bloopers 00:03:00 Hard Times Create Hard Men 00:07:30 The YouTube Rabbit Hole & Starting a Real Business 00:10:30 Revenge Fuel Becomes Self-Expression 00:16:00 Rock Bottom — Drugs, Low Self-Esteem & Mom's Intervention 00:22:00 Leaving Soccer & Getting Close to God 00:28:00 Health as the Mandatory First Pillar 00:33:30 The Easy Path — Drugs, Women, Gambling vs. Doing the Hard Thing 00:38:30 You Don't Own Your Body — God Put You Here 00:42:00 Making Men Again — The Mission Behind GRND CO ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com/ code:RICO FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Pizza Doesn't Feed Your Soul (& Here's What Actually Does) - GRND CO

Ricardo and Andrew are two twenty-somethings launching GRND Collective — a faith-driven fitness coaching brand built on the idea that physical, mental, and spiritual transformation are inseparable. What happens when two guys who taught themselves everything about fitness realize the real problem isn't workouts — it's that an entire generation of men are broken from the inside out? This conversation starts with a police encounter during a failed video intro and ends with a raw confession about cheese balls, rag-doll moments, and why pizza might be destroying your soul. They break down how they're structuring their coaching program around different client goals, why they refuse to yell at a dad trying to lose weight like he's a bodybuilder, the generational cycle of bad nutrition nobody talks about, and why Andrew says there's no saving this generation of men without God. 00:00:00 Why Did the Police Shut Down Our Intro? 00:03:30 Why Did We Decide to Start This? 00:05:30 When Did Andrew First Step Foot in the Gym? 00:08:00 Could Soccer and Muscle Coexist? 00:11:00 How Did Finding God Change Everything? 00:13:30 Was Ricardo Really a Rag Doll? 00:16:00 Does Information Overload Kill Progress? 00:19:00 Why Are Skinny People Counting Calories? 00:22:00 Does Pizza Actually Feed Your Soul? 00:26:00 Who Taught You What to Eat Growing Up? 00:29:00 Is Being Unhealthy at 28 100% Your Fault? 00:32:00 What Does Finding God Change About Your Lifestyle? 00:35:00 Are the Men of Our Generation Chopped? 00:37:00 Do People Treat You Differently Based on Looks? 00:39:00 Should You Yell at Someone Who Ate Pizza? 00:41:00 Can You Earn Your Pizza Slice? 00:43:30 What Is GRND CO Really About? ───────────────────────────── https://freshsupps.com/ code:RICO FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/andre3w_i16 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Real Price of Not Taking Action

Eight words wrecked my whole week: "If you think the price of being successful is too high, wait until you've served the bill for regret." This episode is different. No guest. No interview. Just me, a microphone, and the ideas that have been keeping me up at night. We talk about the guy who spent six months building the appearance of a business before he built the actual business. The dopamine trap that tricks your brain into thinking you already accomplished your goals. The plank that's easy on the ground and terrifying 1,000 feet in the air. The difference between loyalty friends and gravity friends. And the thousand small choices you make every day that are either feeding your dreams or feeding your fears. The bill of regret compounds. Success Looks Different Than You Think - Marcus Roberts

I had a powerful conversation with Marcus Roberts, owner of two Augusta locations, about his transformation from a lazy teenager in Montana to building a million-dollar lawn care business. We dove deep into topics most business podcasts avoid — from morning meditation and faith to the mental toll of management and finding your true purpose. Marcus got real about the osmosis effect of surrounding yourself with the right people and content. We talked about the difference between physical and mental exhaustion, why firing employees is one of the hardest parts of leadership, and how meditation isn't some mystical practice — it's just sitting with yourself. The conversation took an unexpected turn into religion and spirituality, where all three of us shared our complicated relationships with faith. Marcus told the Mexican fisherman story that completely reframes what success means. Sometimes we're already living the life we want, we just don't realize it. This isn't your typical business interview. It's raw, reflective, and gets into the real cost of entrepreneurship — both what you gain and what you might lose along the way. Behind the Scenes: Cuts, Growth & the Bottom Line

We tried to start this episode six times. That tells you everything about where we're at right now — Marco, Bryson, Andrew and I sitting down to reflect on a year that taught us more than we bargained for. Marco learned the hard way about being kind versus nice to employees. Bryson had to fire someone who kept stirring up drama in group chats. I bought a second location I wasn't planning to buy until 2027. We're all trying to figure out how to build general managers while dealing with the reality that managing people who manage people is a whole different beast. The conversation gets real about choosing profit over growth, why Andrew's taking GM training even though plans changed, and that moment when you realize making money isn't enough if you don't know why you're making it. We end with the Mexican fisherman story — fitting for a year that made us all question what we're really building towards. The Growth Nobody Wants to Do

Most people are out here looking for the answer everywhere except the one place it actually lives. Morgan Latimore has spent years working as a life coach and performance coach — with athletes, entrepreneurs, and everyday people trying to figure out why they keep hitting the same ceiling. His answer is almost always the same: the work that changes everything is the work nobody wants to do. In this conversation, Morgan breaks down what it actually means to build capacity — not just hustle harder, but develop the internal structure to hold more. He talks about why copying someone else's path never works, how emotional pain becomes either fuel or dead weight depending on what you do with it, and why the people around you aren't just background noise — they're shaping your trajectory more than you think. This isn't a motivational speech. It's a real conversation about what growth looks like when you stop outsourcing it. Watch the full interview to go deeper. Trauma as Catalyst, Not Anchor - Morgan Latimore

Morgan Latimore grew up in East St. Louis. He served in Afghanistan. He came back not with PTSD — but with a decision to let trauma be a catalyst. This conversation covers the full picture: where Morgan came from, what the Marine Corps actually taught him about discipline, why most people buckle under pressure, and what he means when he says we're all "human doings" instead of human beings. There's a line in here about looking inward first — before fixing your business, your team, or your relationships — that's worth sitting with. Morgan coaches endurance athletes and life clients, but what he actually does is something simpler: he asks why. Not once. Repeatedly. Until the person sitting across from him hears something they've never been asked before. If you're building something — a business, a team, a better version of yourself — and you keep spinning your wheels, this is probably the episode to start with. The answers aren't outside you. They never were. Follow Morgan on Instagram and connect with him through Augusta. 🎙️ The Journey Podcast is built for builders, creators, and people in motion. What No One Tells You About Growing Up

There’s a point in every man’s life where the things he prayed for… become the things he’s now responsible for. That’s the weight of the crown. It’s the pressure that comes with ambition, responsibility, growth, expectations, and becoming someone people look up to. It’s realizing your idols were never perfect — they were just people who carried heavier burdens for longer than everyone else. This video is about that weight. The pressure of becoming a better man. The responsibility of pursuing mastery. The loneliness of being held to a higher standard. The pain of knowing people love you until you slip. If you’re in a season where everything feels heavy, where success feels more like responsibility than celebration, or where you’re learning that your calling comes with a cost… This chapter is for you. Six figures in six months… sounds clean on paper. This episode isn’t the highlight reel — it’s the real timeline: the wins, the mistakes, the pressure, and the discipline it took to keep going. Mark breaks down how he started flipping products on Amazon, what changed when he began treating it like a real business, and the parts nobody warns you about: account risk, IP complaints, margins, and learning (the hard way) to track your numbers. First In, Last Out | The Truth About Leading

Respect doesn’t come from titles. It comes from what you do when nobody’s clapping. In this clip, Parker breaks down a raw truth most men learn late: leadership isn’t control — it’s responsibility. In your home, in your relationship, and with your team. The conversation moves from marriage dynamics and trust… to why “independence” can quietly kill teamwork… to what real leadership looks like in business: lead from the front, communicate, and earn loyalty. You’ll also hear why some of the most “successful” people aren’t loud about it — and how teachers became one of the biggest groups of self-made millionaires through consistency and long-term discipline. The Secret Beauty of Hard Lessons

Every season of your life leaves a mark. Some lift you higher than you ever imagined — and others break you down until all that’s left is the truth. This is a chapter about understanding the rhythm of life. The highs don’t last. The lows don’t last. But the person you become in the middle of all of it… that’s permanent. We grow the most in the quiet moments — the boring victories no one sees, the days we show up even when we don’t feel like it, the nights we try again despite not believing in ourselves. And when you look back, you realize the struggle wasn’t punishment. It was the preparation. If you’re in a season that feels heavy, slow, confusing, or unfair… just remember: the season always turns. It always has. It always will. And when it does, you’ll look back and see that this was the moment that shaped you. 00:00 Nothing Lasts Forever 04:52 The Quiet Victories 09:10 The Emotional Weight of Growth 13:36 The Beauty of Looking Back ───────────────────────────── FIND ME EVERYWHERE 📺 YouTube → youtube.com/@thericardovargas 📸 Instagram → instagram.com/ricardovargas174 🎵 TikTok → tiktok.com/@r.vargas174 🐦 Twitter/X → twitter.com/ricardov174 🧵 Threads → threads.net/@ricardovargas174 🎙️ Podcast → The Journey on Apple Podcasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Truth I Spent Years Avoiding

There’s a moment in your life where the version of you that the world sees… and the version of you that you know behind closed doors no longer match. That’s the Mirror Stage. It’s the season where you start noticing the truth about yourself — your intentions, your insecurities, your need for approval, the way other people’s expectations steer your decisions without you realizing it. This isn’t a chapter about rising. It’s a chapter about seeing. Seeing where your confidence was borrowed. Seeing where your purpose was shaped by opinions. Seeing where your voice wasn’t really yours. And slowly, painfully… learning to trust yourself again. If you’re in a place where you’re questioning who you’re becoming, where you’re trying to speak honestly after years of speaking to be liked, or where you’re finally ready to stop hiding behind the character you built… You’re in the right chapter. Because this is where real confidence comes from. Not from praise. Not from validation. But from seeing your reflection clearly — and choosing to become someone you actually respect. The Competitor Mindset That's Killing Your Margins

You don’t win in home services by “beating” your competitors. You win by outlasting the race to the bottom — and building a reputation that travels faster than ads. In this short clip, Parker breaks down a different way to think about competition in a service business: cooperating with local operators, aligning pricing so nobody has to play dirty, and letting the lowballers burn themselves out. Then the conversation shifts into the real stuff — a rough season, an overloaded plate (wedding + business changes), and the marketing habit that helped jump from $6k/month to $20k/month. If you’re building a lawn care/landscaping business (or any local service business), this one hits on: • competition without ego • pricing discipline • systems (CRM, training, rollovers) • simple local marketing that actually moves revenue If you want more clips like this (and the full conversation), subscribe and follow The Journey. Competitors Aren’t the Enemy - Parker Hodge

Most people think the hard part is getting clients. The harder part is keeping trust—especially when you leave town, the phone won’t stop ringing, and your business starts exposing every crack in your life. In this episode, Parker Charles Hodge and I talk through what it actually looks like to build a lawn care/landscaping business in real life: the seasons that blindside you, the marketing mistakes you only make once, and the moment you realize growth doesn’t just require more work—it requires better leadership. We get into door hanger marketing, “Mulch Madness,” hiring and training crews, the difference between training vs micromanaging, and what burnout feels like when you push past your personal capacity. Then we take it where most business conversations don’t: marriage, compromise, communication, and what it costs when entrepreneurship starts taking your weekends. The Lonely Chapter

Every man has a season that happens in silence. A season with no applause, no validation, no audience. A season where the world gets quiet enough for you to hear your own doubts… and your own potential. The Lonely Chapter is where transformation begins. You’re not who you used to be, but you’re not who you’re becoming either — you’re suspended in the middle, building a life no one sees yet. It’s the early mornings, the empty rooms, the internal battles. It’s the grind that doesn’t show up online. It’s the chapter you must survive alone… so you can emerge as someone new. Building Yourself When No One Is Watching

There are seasons in a man’s life that don’t make it onto a calendar. No dates. No celebrations. No applause. Just quiet work, silent battles, and a version of you nobody else ever meets. This video is the beginning of that journey. We start with The Lonely Chapter — the season where nothing feels certain, where you’re stuck between who you used to be and who you’re desperately trying to become. The grind is invisible. The progress is slow. But this is the price of entry for any man who wants to grow. Then we move into The Mirror Stage, where you finally see yourself without filters, excuses, or validation. This is where the truth catches up to you — your insecurities, your motives, your ego. It’s uncomfortable, but necessary. From there, The Season Always Turns. The highs and lows come and go, and you learn that nothing — good or bad — lasts forever. The struggle that once felt heavy slowly becomes something beautiful in hindsight. And finally, we reach The Weight of Wanting — the chapter where ambition stops being a fantasy and becomes a responsibility. You start to understand the cost of chasing big goals, the sacrifices behind mastery and the difference between wanting “more”… and appreciating “enough.” This video is the intro to all of it. A story of growth, loss, clarity, evolution, and becoming. Every version of you had to die so the next one could live. And it all starts here… The Lonely Chapter. What Discipline Really Is

Everyone throws the word “discipline” around like it’s easy. Like it’s simple. Like it’s just “showing up.” But in this video, I’m breaking down the real side of discipline — the part nobody posts on Instagram. This is the kind of discipline that’s built at 5AM, when the bed is warm and the world is quiet. The kind that shows up in business when the day goes wrong, clients cancel, stress piles up, and quitting feels easier than starting. The kind that doesn’t look glamorous or motivational… but changes who you are. In this episode, I talk about: 🔥 The first time discipline actually showed up in my life Not when I was motivated — but when I wasn’t. 🔥 The real difference between motivation and discipline Why one fades and the other becomes identity. 🔥 My weak spots and the battles I still face Because discipline isn’t perfection — it’s awareness. 🔥 What it feels like when you enter flow state and stop relying on motivation That moment when your identity takes over. 🔥 The price you pay when you lose discipline Missed momentum, broken promises, and rebuilding trust with yourself. 🔥 The peace that discipline gives you Not success, not fame — peace. 🔥 The storm analogy Why discipline is like driving through a thunderstorm… and why pushing through the worst parts is what makes you unshakable on the other side. This isn’t a hype-up speech. It’s not a tutorial. It’s a conversation — raw, honest, earned. If you’ve ever struggled with consistency, burnout, self-doubt, or losing momentum… this one is going to hit home.

What I Learned After 50 Episodes

Fifty episodes. Most creators don’t make it past twenty-one… but I pushed through that wall on purpose. Not to brag, but to prove to myself that this podcast isn’t a phase — it’s something I love, something I’m committed to, and something I’m still getting better at every single time I hit record. Over these 50 episodes, I’ve met 19 guests — all from different backgrounds, different levels of success, different battles. But they all share one thing: A desire to be better. Not one of them was “comfortable” with where they were. And that’s the part that inspires me the most. No matter how big or small the win, they wanted more — so they did the work. This video is a reflection on: The lessons I’ve learned from these conversations The golden nuggets you find even in episodes you don’t expect How listening has made me a better thinker, a better question-asker, and honestly… a better person Why staying open-minded is one of the most underrated skills for entrepreneurs What 50 episodes has taught me about storytelling, growth, and the grind I’m nowhere near being a “master conversationalist,” but this journey has shown me that I don’t have to be — I just have to keep going. To every guest who has sat across from me: you guys rock. And to everyone watching… we’re just getting started. From Me To You

This one’s personal. No fancy edits, no gimmicks — just lessons and frameworks that shaped me. 🔹 A lot of people wait for perfect conditions to start, not realizing that starting is the perfect condition. 🔹 If you live in the future, you’re anxious. If you live in the past, you’re depressed. If you live in the now, you’re happy. 🔹 Life is like the gym — there’s always someone ahead of you and someone who’d kill to be where you are. 🔹 Trees don’t hang around in the grass even though they both started on bare dirt. 🔹 You don’t rise to your standards when no one’s watching — you fall to them. The real work is the work no one sees. 🔹 The difference is I can starve for as long as it takes, because I won’t settle for fast food. 🔹 God will never let what you lost be the best you ever had. Then there’s escape velocity — that moment when everything clicks after years of pressure, doubt, and failure. People call it “overnight success.” But it’s really the reward for everything you endured when no one was clapping. This video is a reflection, a reminder, and a conversation — from me to you. Because chasing success isn’t the goal. Becoming who you’re meant to be is. — 🎙️ Subscribe for more raw thoughts, frameworks, and stories on business, mindset, and life. #TheRicardoVargas #Mindset #Entrepreneurship #Growth #Lessons #Motivation #MowBlowGo #thejourney Links: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@thericardovargas Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ricardovargas174 Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@r.vargas174?_t=8lJxUUN4SD5&_r=1 Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/ricardov174 Threads: https://www.threads.net/@ricardovargas174 Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-journey-from-zero-to-a-million-and-beyond/id1734802848
