The Knife Party Podcast

I review movies from my childhood. The classics, the bizarre, the gory and just some movies that should not have been made. I also give behind the scene’s facts about each one. Grab your popcorn and cut a hole in the bottom; It’s time to party.

  1. 233

416 - Im Gonna Get You Sucka

Kevin Smith and Zinfandale joins me for a great comedy that could not be made today.

  2. 232

    415 - UHF

Kevin Smith back on the show! You may know him from Suns and Shadows or Zero Point Reviews. We crack wise on the best skit movie since Kentucky Fried Movie.

  3. 231

    414 - Robocop 2

Happy Easter! By-the-by; Robocop is about Jesus. This suffers from the 'Can't top the original' but it is still a good pop-corn movie.

  4. 230

    413 - Predator 2

We took it to court now it gets a fare review. If you have not listened to our Cinema Court on our first season; please do your self a favor

  5. 229

    412 - Clueless

Our last Stop The Bike. Hey maybe it will return if there is more demand. Please enjoy my wifes' pick.

  6. 228

    411 - Constantine

Yes, Another comic book movie. But one of the better ones. Kubrick would have been proud.

  7. 227

    410 - Dark City

One of our favorites. We discus time travel, co-identities and other mushuga. Dark City is a must watch!

  8. 226

409 - Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives

Better than number five however it is missing the two main staples in the series. 8008s and Blood.

  9. 225

    408 - Sisu

Yeah, It's not retro or sci-fi but it is a bit of awesome! We talk about my new favorite series Sisu.

  10. 224

    407 - Demon Knight

My favorite weekly watch in 1995. It has B&B, great story, great practical effects and a terrific ensemble cast with Billy Zane! Tales From the Crypt presents... Demon Knight!

  11. 223

    406 - Creepshow 2

We Finaly finish Creepshow one and then move on to two. I almost love CS2 more than one just for the Raft and Hitcher alone but I am only one opinion.

  12. 222

    405 - Krampus

So close to perfect. But no one is Kurt Henging after all. This is a 'Family Friendly' movie and their in lays the issue. Still a good movie yet it lacks in R.

  13. 221

    404 - American Psycho

WE UNLOCK THIS MOVIE! I read it, we watched it (many times) we go frame by frame to unlock this story. We have a new reason to rewatch the best Christmas comedy ever.

  14. 220

403 - The Only Lovers Left Alive

A Patreon 'Stop The Bike' request! I would have never seen this other wise for it was not on my radar. A original take on the romantic vampire genre. Instrumentally correct as well.

  15. 219

    402 - Freddy vs Jason

Our second look at my favorite comic book esc cross over and my introduction to Kathie Izzie.

  16. 218

    401 - Batman Killing Joke

Could have been the best... However the first rated R Batman movie was not giving its due. To open Season 4 on the death Day of Kevi-Con and the anniversary of his live and death we discus Killing Joke.

  17. 217

    399 - Ghostbusters 2

Our season finally with the Chaz! #NSFW

  18. 216

    355 - Pontypool

How dangerous is the English language? Well besides political violence it could create... ZOMBIES?!

  19. 215

    354 - Coming Attractions

A 'state of the union' on what's to come on the show. Antonious and I discuss the current line-up of movies and our new schedule.

  20. 214

    353 - Gremlins 2 - The New Batch

A great sequel, I find it better than the original. Great effects and humor.

  21. 213

    (Midnight Ramen 41) - Diablo 4

Midnight Ramen is back! Antonious and I talk about the latest addition to my favorite franchise.

  22. 212

    352 - Dragon Slayer

The Darkest Disney movie ever. Yes, A Princess gets killed and dismembered by baby dragons. It also stars the dude in Ghostbusters 2 who is also a creep. Great stuff. Suns and Shadows Youtube cast original cut to a podcast.

  23. 211

    (After Dark 63) The State

    Best improve show ever.

  24. 210

    351 - Excaliber 1981

The best version of the Arther tales. I review with Zero Point Reviews and red wine.

  25. 209

    350 - The Signal 2007

Three directors, three scripts equals one grate film. On a super low budget mind you, The Signal is a sci-fi zombie esc thriller that is a must see.

  26. 208

    349 - Starship Troopers

We did this in season one however we need an Antonious review! Or maybe an excuse to rewatch.

  27. 207

    348 - god bless america

I am offended too. How dare Bobcat spell it lowercase. However, this movie is an interesting take on politics over 10 years ago. Wow have thing changed. Also, in a way: A theme of cinema at the time. Think of other movies like Super.

  28. 206

    347 - Dreamcatcher

We tried this in Cinema Court but here it gets an honest review. One of Antonious favorites or trash?

  29. 205

    346 - Blood Diner

First they great you than they talk about random crap. Another Jonathan Fallen appearance meaning we barely talk about this movie. However you have not seen it. Don't lie. But it is free on Tubi.

  30. 204

345 - Romy and Michele's High Scool Reuinion

We love our 'Stop The Bike' Patreons for this reason. We would have never covered this 90's cult hit (That takes place in the Tarantino universe) if it wasn't for our fans.

  31. 203

    344 - Predator 1987 (Zero Point Reviews)

It has been a couple of years since our first review so why not tag team with Zero Point Reviews to talk about the best action/sci-fi/horror movie of all time! Jeff and Kevin bring the funny and I muke it up because I was sober and high off green tea.

  32. 202

    343 - Natural Born Killers

Oliver Stone's masterpiece or Quinten Tarantino's trash?

  33. 201

342 - I Know What You Did Last Summer

    Our 4th of July celebration!

  34. 200

341 - Killer Klowns From Outerspace

The 80's classic horror comedy classic! Antonious and I sing it's praises. It is currently free on Youtube

  35. 199
  36. 198

    340 - Jason X

Many thanks to Sun and Shadows and Zero Point reviews!

  37. 197

40 - Predator: Killer of Killers

An animated Predator movie of Hulu? Does it suck?

  38. 196

    339 - Feast (2006)

A grindhouse, 1980's style on a low budget critter movie. Hard to explain in a paragraph and a must watch. (With Henry Rollins)

  39. 195

    338 - Hackers

Oh the 90's. If you were not alive then all one needs to do is watch or rewatch this movie. I wanted to hate it but nostalgia is one hell of a drug.

  40. 194

    337 - Friday the 13th part V - A New Beginning

The worst and weakest of the series thus far. I rewatched it again and I tried to give it a fair chance, but it just fails at being a good slasher or horror movie. It attempts to have a plot but due to the fact it had seven different writers this suffers from too many cooks in the kitchen.

  41. 193

336 - Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

Another alternative take on the Slasher style of filmmaking. Imagen Spinal Tap Mocumentary meets 1990's Scream self awareness.

  42. 192

    335 - In a Violent Nature

I am late to the party on this one but it kinda flew off my radar after he hype dyed down. Anyway, a short episode seeing how there is really not much to cover but if you haven't yet seen it, here ya go.

  43. 191

    Top 10 Retirement Worthy Performances

We count down the best actors and movies that should have been their 'Swan Song'

  44. 190
  45. 189

    333 - The Wrestler

    Let's brake Kay-fabe!

  46. 188

    332 - Suburban Commando

What do The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan and Larry Miller have in common? This turd. Well it gets Nostolgia points.

  47. 187
  48. 186

    330 Devils Advocate

I'm a FAN of this movie! As is Kevin Smith from Zero Point Reviews. Antonious in studio.

  49. 185

329 - Once Upon a Time in Mexico

WOW... This was not expected. Let's just say I will never talk up a movie that I have not seen in years ever again. Antonious gives our honest opinion on what could have been a great trilogy.

  50. 184

    328 - Episode SUE

So good, we reviewed it twice. Call this episode SUE. Antonious joins me and he leads the episode.
