What do you need to have a good Christmas? ... We NEED Jesus!   Let's break down Mary's Magnificat from Luke 1:26-38. The main point of Pastor Paul's sermon on 12/21 was to model Mary’s Magnificat for a great Christmas. He summarized it with four words: remember, rejoice, refocus, and respond. The pastors discuss The Beatitudes from Matthew 5: 1-12 and how we as Christians can live a blessed life. The Beatitudes describe the character and conduct of those who belong to God's kingdom. These sayings redefine what it means to be blessed by the world's standards!

They were filled with awe and said, 'We have seen remarkable things today.''- Luke 5:26 The word of the day is remarkable as the pastors review the story of the paralyzed man (Luke 5:17-26) and reflect on the joy and hope of our church's 140th anniversary.

  32. 7

    Eternal | Episode 4

The transfiguration was not just a statement; it was an experience of Jesus’ divinity! The transfiguration (and surrounding stories) are meant to change our understanding of discipleship: Disciples live in the valley, yet remember the mountaintop. Disciples remember the eternal while living in the present. Disciples die to self while rising with Christ.

  33. 6

    Powerful | Episode 3

The pastors dig into Mark 4:35-41 where the identity of Jesus as God is further revealed in a powerful way as He calms a raging storm. We can see Jesus’ divine power in this story. We know that we can trust Jesus in the storms of life because He is more powerful than any storm.
