Professor Matthias Preusser (Medical University of Vienna, Austria) and Professor Nathalie Albert (LMU University Hospital, Munich, Germany) join Editor-in-Chief Ali Landman to discuss the Nuclear Medicine Meets Neuro-oncology (NMN) Symposium, the value of multidisciplinary discussion across nuclear medicine and oncology, their Personal View: "Imaging-based classification of blood–brain barrier disruption in glioblastoma for patient selection in clinical trials: the NMN-BBB score" which emerged from the NMN Symposium in 2023, and how this new score, which semi-quantitatively measures the extent of blood-brain barrier opening within gliomas can be used to select patients for the right clinical trials and treatments.
